*Pari Pov*

At present everyone is sitting in the living room except my mom and me.

I still don't know what they are doing here.

So I asked, "Mom! Why are Mr.Akash and his family here?"

"Pari, we told you right that you got a proposal, then why are you asking me again." Mom replied.

"You mean?" I asked her shocked already knowing the answer.

"Yes! Not stop asking these silly questions and make some tea for them." She said.

I nodded and began to make it. Then I saw Mom started to place sweets on a plate and the mixture in another.

"Does he like sweets? If he does I will put some more." Mom asked me.

"He hates them completely, mom. He even shouted at us when we brought some sweets for celebrating the company's success." I replied.

"Does he shout a lot?" she asked.

"More than you know. He shouted at me too many times." I replied.

She turned me suddenly and said, "If you think that he will shout at you even after marriage, don't marry him ok."

I just smiled at her concern and said, "Mom, he changed a lot in these past few months. And I am sure he will never shout at his wife."

She grinned and asked, "So, is it yes from you by your reply?"

"Mom, I am just saying generally." I replied rolling my eyes.

Of course, it is kind of yes from me, but who knows what he will decide.

"Hmm, we will see. Now come on, let's go." she said and left the kitchen.

I took the tray and went near them and put it on the table.

"Is it coffee?" Mr.Akash asked me with excitement in his voice making Simran chuckle.

"No, Mr.Akash, it's Tea." I replied.

He had a disappointed look, but drank it by taking the cup.

After taking a sip, he said, "It is very good."

"Yeah!" his mom, I mean aunty said.

I just smiled at them and just looked at each one of them ignoring the stare from Mr.Akash.

What is he thinking right now? I know he said that he loves me, but marriage is a very big step right.

Will he reject this proposal?

*Mr.Stone Pov*

What is she thinking right now? I know she didn't say that she loves me so, there is a big chance for her not to accept me.

Will she reject this proposal?

I just kept on looking at her and didn't care for anything around me.

Suddenly, Mr.Khanna started asking, "Do you want to..." but I cut him off without looking at him and said, "Yes!" thinking that he is asking about Marriage.

Pari, who is looking everywhere else, after hearing this, turned towards me frowning.

Then looked down and again looked up at me and said, "No!"

Is she rejecting me now without even talking to me?

"But..." I started to protest, but she cut me off and said, "You don't want to."

Is this what she is thinking that I don't want to marry her? But I want to really.

So, I said, "I want to."

She shook her head and said, "Mr.Akash, you hate sweets right?"

"Sweets?" I asked her confused, and I looked around getting many eyes looking at me with amusement.

"Mr.Khanna is asking you that, do you want to have the sweet." Di explained.

"Oh!!" I replied, realizing it.

They all laughed at it, but Pari looked at me narrowing her eyes.

What happened to her now?

Everyone started to talk about their own matters, and we both are sitting in front of each other just looking.

After some time Mr.Khanna asked, "So Pari, what is your decision?"

She narrowed her eyes at him, and he looked confused after seeing her reaction.

Then her mom said, "Let them talk alone at first. Pari, show him your room ok."

Pari nodded and immediately rose from her seat and began to go to the stairs. I too got up and followed her.

She didn't say any word to me until we reach inside her room.

After entering she asked, "You don't know about this proposal before, right?"

I shook my head in negative and asked "And you too?"

"No! I don't know anything about this." she replied.

"My mom is the one that sent the proposal for you, I guess." I said.

She nodded and asked me to sit in a chair which she placed in front of her bed. And she sat on her bed in front of me.

The room is filled with silence completely.

I broke it by asking, "So, now what?"

"You can reject it by yourself. Or if you want I can tell my reply as 'No'." She replied calmly.

I am completely shocked. So, she doesn't like me then, but I am not backing down.

"Why do you want to reject me?" I asked her directly.

"Come on Mr.Akash, we both know that you don't want to get married." she replied like that is an obvious thing.

"What? Why are you thinking like that?" I asked.

"This is like an arranged marriage, Mr.Akash because your mom sent the proposal. And I saw how much you hate to get married like that after watching your interview." she replied.

"No! You have taken it wrong. I actually said like that because I didn't trust Sheela at all but decided to marry her as per my mom's request." I explained to her.

I continued saying, "But this time it is very different."

"What is different this time?" She asked.

I took her hand in mine and said, "This time I love this girl, and by my luck my mom too likes her and acted fast unlike me."

She smiled at me for my reply but again frowned.

Now, what happened?

"But how can you be sure that I am the correct one for you?" she asked.

"Because I know." I replied.

She started thinking for some time looking at me.

Then she said, "Do you know when I got hurt so much by you?"

I shook my head because I don't know as there are many incidents.

"When you left me waiting for you as my date to go to the ball and after that when I reached there I saw you dancing with another person and even smiling at her." she replied.

Oh! That is, in fact, my biggest mistake, and I accept that. Because I shouldn't have forgotten about that at all.

"You ditched me, but another thing, which is major than that is you smiled at her." she continued saying.

"But I faked that one." I said in my defense.

"At least she got a fake one and while here I didn't get even a fake smile from you until now." She said.

"Ok, I will smile for you now." I said little unsure.

"No! I don't want a forced one. We will see about that later, for now, you have to take me on a date to correct the before mistake." she demanded.

This is why she is different from others.

"Okay!" I replied.

"Then after that, I will tell you my decision." She said.

I nodded, and we both left her room and went near our parents.

"So...?" Mr.Khanna asked.

"I will tell you my decision later because we want to go for some date like that to get to know each other more." Pari replied confidently.

"Ok. But don't forget that we all are waiting. What about you?" He asked me.

I was about to reply, but Pari cut me off and said, "He will also tell you all later."

I nodded for her reply but was not the one I want to say.

Now I have to plan for a perfect date on which I am completely poor.

But at least I will try...
