*Pari Pov*

The next day I woke up late because I don't have to go to work today.

After getting ready I went towards the kitchen and talked for some time with my mom.

"So Pari, are you ready to meet him?" Mom asked.

"No!" I immediately replied.

"Don't feel tense at all ok. If you don't like him, then there are many out there." She said misunderstanding the reason behind my answer.

I don't want anyone. I just want one person whom I left and come here to meet some stupid.

I just smiled and diverted the topic.

In the afternoon, Rani called me and said, "Pari, do you know Mr.Stone and Maam didn't come to the office today."

"Really? How is everyone handling the company then?" I asked her.

"It is complete chaos, Pari. You tell me, did you meet Mr.X?"

"No, I didn't meet this Mr.X." I replied.

"You still don't know his name?" she asked.

"Thank you for reminding me. I will go and ask Dad now." I said hanging up.

I left my room, searching for my dad, and found him in the living room.

I went near him and asked, "Dad, what is his name?"

He raised a brow at me and asked, "Whose name?"

"I don't know his name that's why I am asking you right." I replied.

He smiled and said, "See, you are already getting interested in this proposal."

I rolled my eyes and said, "Dad! When I don't even know his name, until now, you must have already sensed that I have zero interest in this, and I already made a decision."

"But you promised." Dad said.

"Please don't say that word again to me, dad. I just hate it." I said.

"As per your request, per your request, I will definitely meet him with an open mind ok. Now tell me his name?" I asked.

"You just wait for some more time. He too doesn't know your name." he said.

"Please don't tell me what I just heard is true. Oh my God! He too doesn't know my name and coming here to meet me. Is he stupid or what?"

"But you don't know his, right. Then are you?" he asked.

I shook my head and was about to reply, but we heard our doorbell.

I looked at my dad confused, and he is grinning.

"They are not what I think they are right?" I asked him hopefully.

"They are here!" he shouted at no one in particular.

He turned towards me and said, "Princess! You go ahead and open the door for them."

"What?" I asked him.

"Go!" he said, pushing me towards the door.

I nervously started walking towards the door.

If he too is not interested in knowing about me that too, even my name, then he may don't want to marry me at all.

Let's hope this is what is going to happen. I thought and opened the door.

After opening it, the people I saw made me feel like I should go to an eye specialist and get my eyes check.

Because I am seeing Mr.Akash, Maam, and an older lady standing there, whose expressions are quite different from each other.

Elder lady is giving me a happy look and Maam I don't know why is she grinning like there is no tomorrow.

Whereas Mr.Akash's expression is mirroring mine, why is he shocked when he is the one standing in front of my house?

"Mr.Akash!?" I said.

At the same time, he said, "Pari!?"

"What are you doing here, Mr.Akash?" I asked him.

"Is that how you treat your guests' Pari?" Maam asked smiling.

"But Maam..." I couldn't complete my sentence because she cut me off and said, "Pari we are not in our office and most definitely not in Mumbai. So don't call me Maam, and refer me by my name."

"Ok, Simran." I said and looked at another lady.

"Of course after some time you may just have to call me something else but for now my name is enough. I know you must be confused, but she is my mom and call her aunty ok." Simran said.

I nodded for a few seconds still in shock and stopped when Simran laughed.

"So can we come in?" Simran asked.

"Yeah! I am sorry." I replied, opening the door completely and moving aside.

"It's ok, we can understand." she replied.

After Simran and aunty went inside I asked in a whisper "Mr.Akash, what is happening?"

He looked at me still with a look of shock covering his face and said, "I don't know."

*Mr.Stone Pov*

Few hours before...

We finally reached Kolkata today morning and decided to stay in our old house which we left empty for all these years.

My mom comes here every few months and stays for one week. I never returned here after leaving this city.

Today I had to come not only to overcome this feeling but also to stop Pari from meeting anyone and select him later.

We all thought to rest for a few hours. Di while leaving said, "After two or three hours, we will go and crash her meeting with the person you call stupid ok."

I nodded and went inside my room. I saw all my childhood pictures on the wall with my family.

I was so close to my dad. I miss him so much.

He is so full of life, and I am sure he would have liked Pari completely.

I shook my head and chose to go and get something to eat.

While passing through my sister's room, I heard Mom saying, "Simran, you still didn't tell him the reason for us to visit Kolkata today."

"I know, Mom. If he knows the reason, he will run for sure." Di said.

I entered her room and asked, "What are you hiding, Di?"

They both were shocked, but Di composed herself and replied "Nothing."

"There must be something which after hearing I will run away right?" I asked her.

"Not away, but towards." Di said, mumbling to herself.

"What are you saying Di?" I asked her, but she just shook her head.

"Mom at least you tell me." I asked Mom.

Di shook her head for Mom, but Mom looked at me and said, "Akash we found a suitable girl for you and sent your proposal for her. We are just here to meet her."

"What?" I asked them.

"You guys talk." Mom said, leaving the room.

"Di, you guys didn't even think to tell me about it." I said looking at her.

"Akash, you don't have to marry her. You just need to meet her. And I am sure you will like her." Di said.

"Are you serious Di? You know I love Pari then why are you asking me to do it?" I asked her.

She looked at me for a few seconds and asked, "But she doesn't right. She is even meeting someone else. What if she likes him? Will you stay alone forever?"

"Maybe I will." I replied and continued saying, "I don't think she will accept anyone else, and if she does, then I will stop it."

She shook her head and said, "At least meet this girl for Mom's sake. Then reject her ok."

I was about to protest, but she cut me off and said, "Please Akash, for Mom."

I groaned and said, "This is absolutely emotional blackmail."

"Yes! Now go and get ready." She pushed me out of her room.

I got ready immediately because I want to complete this nonsense and meet Pari.

We started to go towards that so-called girl's house.

Then I remembered that I don't know her name, so I asked Di "What is her name?"

She smirked at me and said, "You will find out soon little brother."

After some time, we stopped in from a big modern mansion type of building.

We all went near the door and rang the doorbell.

After a few minutes, someone opened the door, and I am completely shocked to see Pari in front of us.

She is also looking at me shocked.

She said, "Mr.Akash!?" And I said, "Pari!?" at the same time.

Then she asked me something, but I couldn't hear her.

Di and Pari started talking about something which I don't know.

And Pari opened the door completely for us to enter. I stepped forward still in a daze looking at her.

After Di and Mom went inside Pari asked, "Mr.Akash, what is happening?"

I looked at her and said, "I don't know."

Nevertheless, one thing I can say is that Di played too well.

What will happen now?
