*Pari Pov*

Today one week after canceling my resignation I reached the office a bit late along with everyone. We are doing this for the past two days.

Because there is not much work to do for another few more weeks by us, so we all just want to enjoy this freedom.

We all know that after a few weeks, we are going to have loads of work when many clients come here for deals so why not now enjoy.

However, Maam and Mr.Stone are always on time. As for Mr.Stone, the plan to make me call him by his name is failing totally.

He just asks me every day to call him 'Mr.Akash' which I am not going to do. So the same is just going on and on.

I am actually getting bored because of it. But today, when I reached my floor along with my friends, I got a big surprise.

My desk is not there. And the place is empty. Why only my desk is missing?

"Breaking News! Pari's desk is missing." Sakshi said.

"And if anyone finds it, please give it to her, and she will pay you hundred rupees." Rashi said.

They all laughed at it and I glared at them. After seeing my reaction, they calmed down a little.

"What happened to your desk, Pari?" Rani asked.

I looked at her and asked, raising an eyebrow "After seeing my expression, do you seriously think that I know anything about it?"

"Relax, Pari! I am just asking." Rani said, raising her hands surrendering.

"Sorry, Rani. I just started thinking that maybe Mr.Stone fired me, and I have to leave this place."

"Pari, you getting fired, is completely out of the question." Imran said.

"Even if you get fired. Why would he remove your desk? Some other P.A must also be appointed, and they need the desk right." Sakshi said.

"She is right, Pari." Rani said.

"Ok. I will just go and ask Maam." I said and left them.

They nodded and returned to their seats. I knocked on Maam's cabin nervously, fearing to even hear the reason for this desk missing.

After hearing her reply I entered and said, "Good morning Maam!" placing her coffee cup on her table.

"Good Morning, Ms.Pari!" she replied smiling.

"Maam! Where is my desk? Am I getting fired like again?" I asked her.

"You never got fired, Pari. You just resigned two times." She replied.

If she is not giving me her sweet smile, I would have thought she is completely taunting me.

"It is the same thing. For both, I need to leave this office." I said.

"There is a big difference. We will never fire you for sure, but you can resign any time you want." She said teasingly.

"Maam! I will not do it again, but I did it for correct reasons right." I said.

She nodded and then said, "Please don't call me Maam again. Call me Simran."

"Why?" I asked her.

"You are asking me why!? Come on Ms.Pari you are doing like three jobs, which are totally higher in this company. You are equal with the employers." She replied.

I am actually not convinced with the explanation, so I decided to not do it. So I said, "I think it is better to not do it Maam, but you can call me Pari."

"Deal, Pari!" Maam said sighing.

"So, what about my desk?" I asked her.

"Akash still didn't arrive. You have to ask him. He only knows about that. Even if I know I can't tell you." she replied.

"So Mr.Stone is the reason behind it." I said.

She laughed and asked, "You still don't want to call him by his name."

"Why should I Maam? I am just an employee for you and mostly to Mr.Stone. So I don't think it is a good thing to do it." I replied.

She nodded and said, "You don't hate him right? I mean for all things that he did for his plan."

"Of course not, Maam! I just respect him now more as my boss because he thought about the safety of his family and also his employee." I replied immediately.

That's true, I don't hate him at all. I mean he just worked so hard to get his family and also me out from this danger.

"Good! Ok, wait for a few minutes. He will be here by that time." Maam said.

I nodded and left her cabin and sat on Rani's desk and talked with her about general topics.

After some time, Mr.Stone reached our office, and he directly went inside Maam's cabin. Now I have to wait for some more time and know Mr.Stone's plan.

In the meantime, I can take some more rest I thought, and closed my eyes.

*Mr.Stone Pov*

I reached a little late today as I got stuck in some work.

Now I have to watch how my plan will unfold. After reaching my floor, I directly went inside Di's cabin.

"So finally you arrived." Di said.

"Yeah! Did Ms.Pari ask you anything?" I asked her.

"She did actually. She asked me where her desk is and the reason behind it missing is her getting fired." Di replied.

I frowned and asked, "Why would she even think that?"

"Why would she not!? That is the dumbest plan Akash. I expected better from you. It is going to fail." Di replied with a scowling face.

"Really? But I thought so much about this. What else she said?" I asked her little disappointed in myself.

"She said she will not even call me by name and also yours because she thinks she is just a P.A of this company." Di said.

I totally expected this. Ms.Pari is giving me the same reason. What should I do about it?

"Anything else?" I asked.

"Yeah! I asked her does she hate you."

"What did she say?" I asked her a little nervously, but I didn't show her.

"She said that she actually hates you so much." Di replied immediately.

"What?" I asked her shocked.

I mean I didn't think that she hates me. I thought she would understand my reasons. Now what should I do?

Suddenly, I heard chuckling from my Di.

I narrowed my eyes and asked, "You lied to me about this right? You even think my plan will work isn't it?"

"Yes to both." she replied, laughing more.

"Why did you do it?" I asked her glaring.

"Can't I tease my little cute brother?" she asked me.

"But you just gave me a mini heart attack." I replied.

"Oh my God! This is sensational. Mr.Stone got nearly a heart attack after hearing that a girl hates him. Who was actually hated by many that we lost the count too?" Di said dramatically.

"Stop it, Di! So she said that she doesn't hate me right."

"Yes, she doesn't hate you at all, and also she respects you now more than before." Di said.

"Then why is she acting like this with me?" I asked her.

"Truth to be told she is actually acting like what every P.A should do. But what you are expecting from her can be only gained if she knows about your feelings." Di replied.

"Yeah, I am also thinking the same, but I don't want to make her run away from me completely."

"Just think about it ok. Maybe your whatever plan will work too. Now go and don't make Pari wait for you." Di said.

I raised a brow and asked, "You are calling her by her name itself."

"Yeah! She asked me to." Di replied.

I nodded frowning and left her cabin.

When I went outside I saw Ms.Pari sitting on the desk of Ms.Rani and closed her eyes.

I calmly went near her and cleared my throat. She got startled suddenly and jumped from the desk, slipping and was about to fall down.

But I immediately catch her and stopped her from falling. She looked up and I just got stuck in those eyes again like I did when I first met her in the elevator.

She suddenly pulled herself away and looked around and glared towards other staff. Then I saw that they are giving her teasing looks.

She composed herself and asked, "Mr.Stone, where is my desk?"

"Where is my coffee?" I asked, ignoring her question.

"You came late, Mr.Stone, so I had to throw it in the dustbin. But where is my cabin?" she asked again.

"In my cabin." I replied.

"What is it doing there?" she asked glaring.

"Well, now you are the mediator between me and all the employees so you need to be near me to ask me any questions." I replied.

She was about to protest, but I continued saying, "How many times can you come and go every time you get a question which you need my answer? So I decided this arrangement."

"I will be fine in roaming many times to your cabin and my desk for answers. So please I don't want to sit in that cabin." she said stubbornly.

"This is not any new idea. I already told this when as per my plan, I gave this job to Ms.Shilpa." I said. I mean that is true right.

She thought for a few seconds and asked, "But Mr.Stone, you actually said to all of us that whatever you told in that period is false right?"

Why did I forget that she is the smart one here?

I thought for some time and replied "But selecting Ms.Shilpa for this job is fake in the first place right, then the ideas belong to that fake one are not false."

"What?" she asked me confused. I don't blame her because I am also confused about what I actually said to her.

This is what she does every time. I actually don't know what I am even talking about after looking at her.

"No more discussions, Ms.Pari. This is final." I said and started to go inside my cabin.

She followed me and after the door closed, she called "But, Mr.Stone?"

I turned towards her and asked, "Yes?"

"This place will be locked right then I have to wait totally outside until you reach." she replied.

Another smart one, but I too know how to be that.

So I took a key from my pocket and went near her saying, "Here, take this another key for this cabin."

"But, I shouldn't have that." she said, gulping when I kept on moving towards her.

"And why?" I asked her after standing correctly in front of her with a little distance.

She moved back until she is touching the door and said, "Because your cabin contains very important documents, and you shouldn't trust anyone."

She placed her hand on the doorknob, and I know that she is going to escape from here.

But I placed my hand on her hand and removed it from the knob and placed a key in her hand.

"I trust you, Pari." I said.

She looked at me shocked why I don't know, maybe because I said 'I trust her' or I called her by her name.

I took this chance and blocked her between me and the door.

After seeing this, her eyes went wide, and tried to move away, but I didn't budge.

"What are you doing, Mr.Stone?" she asked faintly gulping.

"What am I doing?" I asked her.

"Can you move please?" She asked.

"No, I don't want to." I replied.

I bent down until I can feel her breath and said, "Kissing you was never a mistake for me too."

She closed her eyes and parted her lips. I looked at her for a few more seconds and kissed her cheeks and went away from her.

She was still in a daze, and by that time I went near my chair and sat on it.

She opened her eyes and looked around confused and then looked at me frowning.

"Disappointed?" I asked her.

She shook her head and cleared her throat and said, "No. Not at all!"

"I still don't want to stay here in this cabin." She continued saying.

"Ok, I will give you a choice. Either this or that." I said.

"Ok, what is another choice?" She asked.

"Call me by my name." I replied.

"Oh my God! Is this all about that? Are you that much obsessed about your name Mr.Stone? Then why didn't you want to say your name to anyone at first?" she asked me like I am stupid.

Because I want only you to call me that after my family! Because you were not there before! Like these, I have many reasons, but, as usual, I didn't say anything.

"Choose Pari, just choose." I said.

I will be happy if she chose anyone in them. So I am just waiting for her reply.

"Ok, I will stay here in your cabin." She said.

"But Mr.Stone just remembers I will never. I mean, never say your name again." She said.

"We will see Pari." I said.

I actually like calling her like this.

She glared at me and sat down at her desk, which I placed in front of me.

We will definitely see Ms.Pari...
