*Mr.Stone Pov*

The next day when I reached my floor I saw Ms.Pari working seriously so I calmly went near her and said "Good Morning, Ms.Pari!"

I am just hoping that she would call me by my name and yesterday was just a mistake.

She got startled and got up saying, "Good morning, Mr.Stone!"

I shook my head and went inside the cabin. There is not that much work these days because we are already ahead for all the deals and after a few days my rival company clients will also come here.

So as there is nothing much to do, I started thinking about what must have angered her. Then I got many reasons.

I got a brilliant idea of correcting my wrongdoing one after the other. Then she will gradually come back to normal, and I can confess.

I know it is not Ms.Pari's range of brilliant but we normal people can only think in this range.

So the first one on my mistake's list is I actually shouted at her. I immediately called her to come inside.

After entering she said, "Yes, Mr.Stone!"

"I am sorry!" I replied without beating around the bush.

She was completely shocked, but composed herself and asked, "For what, Mr.Stone?"

"I shouted at you when you were concerned about me right. For that!" I replied.

She looked at me for a few seconds and nodded.

"Is that all, Mr.Stone?" she asked.

"That's all for now and please do inform everyone to gather in the conference hall before lunch." I replied.

"Sure, Mr.Stone." she said and left the cabin.

Is she like punishing me or what? Even before she didn't use 'Mr.Stone' these many times, but now she is using it at the end of each sentence.

Mr.Khanna really told the truth that day that Ms.Pari got stubbornness from him. Both are very difficult to impress.

Now, before lunch, I need to convert another wrong thing in the conference hall.

I reached the conference hall along with Di after everyone reached.

"As you all know Ms.Shilpa is nothing but a spy and employing her for Secretary is done as part of a plan. Ms.Pari is again going to be the company secretary." I said.

Everyone clapped, but she just stood there with a blank face.

"And also selecting Ms.Shilpa as a counselor is part of a plan." I said and got the attention of her's.

I don't know what to say next looking at her, so I said, "As you all have selected her to be best for this job, so we are giving it to her."

There were applauded but she is not even a little happy.

Everyone asked her to give some speech, so she got on the stage and said, "I just want to say, thank you to all my co-employees for selecting me and believing me. And also thank you Maam."

After that, she calmly left the stage, making me stun in shock. Di chuckled from beside me.

Everyone left the conference hall after that. I slowly turned towards Di and asked, "Why didn't she say 'Thank You' to me."

"Why would she? When she got the impression that you don't think she is deserved." Di replied.

"But what have I said to make her think like that?" I asked her even more confused because I actually think she deserves this more than anyone.

"Well, you said like 'Hey everyone is saying you are beautiful, so you are beautiful'. I mean you didn't say what you felt about this decision. You just told her that everyone thought her like that, so she thanked everyone." Di explained in detail.

"Ok, it is my stupid thing, then why did she say it to you?"

"Because I already told her that she deserved this way before." She replied leaving the conference hall.

Plan failed!

*Pari Pov*

At present, we are sitting in the canteen for lunch after coming from the conference hall.

I still can't believe that he apologized to me today morning. But anyway, he always does something which no one of us thinks is right.

"Earth to Pari!" Rani said, snapping her fingers.

"Sorry guys just thinking." I said.

"About..." Rashi started saying.

"Whom?" Sakshi ended.

"Oh, you know while coming to the office, I saw a cat. It looked at me like I am some monster you know. I mean how it can think that! I think it just loves buildings because at first, she is on my building. Then it jumped from my building to side building then to another then to another then to another..." I started saying which I actually don't know but just wanted to tease them.

They suddenly bowed in front of me, and Rani said, "Pari, if we have to tease you again we will first drink some poison and come here. We are sure it would be better than cat and building's love story."

And we all burst out laughing and enjoyed just talking about their boyfriends and everything.

Before leaving to go to our floor Rani asked me "Pari, why didn't you thank Mr.Stone?"

"Why should I? When Mr.Stone doesn't think that I am deserving." I replied.

"Why are you thinking like that? Of course, he does, he just didn't say it, but he thinks that too, like all of us." Sakshi said.

"How can I know? I got to know that you all want me from these by votes and Maam she herself told me that. Then Mr.Stone didn't tell me anything like that." I said.

"Pari! We all understood that he thinks you deserve, and I am sure you to know that." Imran said.

I shook my head and left the canteen to go to our floor.

Actually, I know that he thinks of me as deserving, but I need him to say that to my face.

We are not some treasure hunters to find the hidden words between his speeches. So I just want him to openly say what he thinks, and until then I will not assume anything.

Is it a wrong thing to do? Nah!!

When we reached our floor, we all worked calmly, and I didn't get call from Mr.Stone at all.

Few minutes before we have to leave Maam came outside and asked us to wait for a few more minutes.

After that, Mr.Stone came from his cabin holding a big bouquet of white roses and stood in front of us.

When did he take it inside in the first place?

"I am here to say that I think Ms.Pari is the most deserving person to get this job. She is also very intelligent and friendly to everyone. She takes care of each and every one of us." He said.

We all stood in shock, and I stayed like that for some more time because I heard many claps. But what confusing is this is not equal to five members.

I looked around for anyone then Maam said that "This speech is listening by everyone from all the floors through the speaker."

I nodded and Mr.Stone continued saying, "I want to give this as my appreciation to her."

I went near him and took it from him and said, "Thank you, Mr.Stone."

He nodded and went inside his cabin. Even Maam too went inside her cabin.

When I went near my desk Rani said, "Now, what will you say Pari."

"I already told right." I replied.

"What?" She asked me confused.

"I already told 'Thank you' right. What else do I need to say?" I asked her.

She shook her head and packed her things along with others.

Before leaving I went inside Mr.Stone's cabin and said, "Mr.Stone, I am leaving."

"Ms.Pari, you can call me by my name you know. That right will be always yours. I told Ms.Shilpa to call me like that for the plan so please forget that." He said.

I didn't expect this at all. I mean never.

But I shook my head and said, "Mr.Stone, I am your P.A. I am just another employee right."

He was about to say something, but stopped himself shaking his head, but didn't say anything.

"So I will call you 'Mr.Stone' only, Mr.Stone, like everyone else here." I said.

He looked at me for a few seconds and said, "I will make you call me by my name, Ms.Pari."

I actually thought he would because he said it with so much determination. However, I am not just anyone here.

So I said, "Well, good luck with that, Mr.Stone."

He narrowed his eyes at me, and I left his cabin and went home carrying that bouquet.

After going home, I called my parents and talked to them for some time. I miss them so much.

I don't know how Mr.Stone will surprise me again tomorrow too, and maybe make me call him by his name.

Let's wait and see...
