*Pari Pov*

The next morning I woke up with a huge headache. I shouldn't have cried at all when I have no experience in crying mostly.

I switched on my mobile and saw many missed calls. I decided not to check them because they must be from my friends.

So I got ready very leisurely and reached the office at 9 am. I am sure everyone must have reached already, and I don't want to stay here anymore.

The first thing I did is I met the office boy to whom I am paying to give Mr.Akash, his food and said not to do it anymore paying him for this whole month.

After that, I reached my floor, which is not going to be mine anymore, and saw four people releasing a breath of relief.

They started asking me questions like 'Where were you?' and 'what happened to you?' like that.

"Guys, I am fine. I was just tired and slept early yesterday, that's it." I replied.

"Did you watch the news today?" Rani asked.

I looked at her weirdly and asked, "Why? Are they showing that I am going to quit from stone corporations?"

I laughed and went to my desk and started collecting my things.

I didn't hear any sound and looked around frowning. I saw four blank faces.

"What happened guys?" I asked them.

"So you didn't watch the news at all?" Imran asked.

"No, I didn't. I woke up very late today ok. Just give me a group hug guys." I said.

When they didn't come near me and didn't even tell me anything. I said, "Guys, I don't want to see his face now and mostly that Shilpa's face. So will you bid me 'Bye's' or not."

"You so need to watch the news then." Sakshi said and made me sit on my chair and switched on the computer.

"What are you doing?" I asked her confused.

"Well, you are going to watch the news now." she said opened some news channel, and played it.

"Guys, this is ridic..." I couldn't stop my sentence because I heard 'Stone corporations' name coming from the reporter's mouth.

The reporter is saying, "Look at the video, we are going to show you all again." And played some video in which, to my surprise, Mr.Akash and Shilpa are sitting in a room.

And the Shilpa is a little drunk but not much. What is going to happen?

"Are you going to make me watch this like really." I asked my friends who are standing around me.

"Just keep quiet and watch it, Pari." Rashi said.

I saw clearly and heard Shilpa asking Mr.Akash "You really want to marry me?"

"Yes! I really want to."Mr.Akash said.

She immediately blushed but Mr.Akash continued saying, "You are going to be the queen of stone corporations."

"Really? But we need to be careful with that Raghu." She said frowning.

"Why?" he asked her confusedly.

"Before that don't hate me ok, Raghu actually sent me here as a spy. He is planning to kill you and your family if this plan doesn't succeed." Shilpa said. And I just placed my hand on my mouth.

How can they even think like that? That is so retarded!

"And also Sheela you know Raghu's girlfriend wants to kill that witch Pari too because she thinks you like that Pari. I have no problem with this plan of hurting Pari, but I will not let him hurt you." Shilpa continued saying. Mr.Akash just started holding his hands back forcefully.

"Do you have any proof?" he asked like a curious man.

"Of course see this video." Shilpa said, giving her phone to him.

"I am going to be queen... I am going to be queen... I... am... Going... to... be... Queen." She kept on chanting, but Mr.Akash was just doing something in that mobile.

"Yeah for jail!" He said after she collapsed.

And then the video is out. I am completely shocked.

Then the reporter said, "Let's hear it from Mr.Stone itself."

Mr.Akash came near the reporter and said, "Yes! It is all true. We actually got the proof against Mr.Raghu and Ms.Sheela and also Ms.Shilpa."

"What is going to be happening to them?" Reporter asked.

"At present, they are going to jail as a threat to us and as for me and my family, there will be security and also for Ms.Pari." He replied.

"How do you know about all this?" a reporter asked again.

"Actually, I have my secret spies of my own, and they informed me about Ms.Shilpa. Then we got to know that this is not at the level of business competition at all. Then the plan of killing some business rival is completely wrong and stupid, so I decided to get the proof in any case." He replied.

"Was it difficult?"

"More than anyone can know. I had to just keep on acting for these past few weeks in front of each and every one. Because I thought that Mr.Raghu may have also placed some security cameras or something so it is quite difficult." He said.

"So do you want to say anything in the final, Mr.Stone?" Reporter asked.

Mr.Akash nodded and turned directly towards the camera looking straight and said, "I just want to say that not a single word I said or acted in these few weeks are true. I never wanted to behave like this at all. If I don't have this reason, I wouldn't have hurt anyone."

It actually felt like he is looking directly at me and saying this, so I couldn't help but turn away.

Sakshi calmly closed it and everyone turned towards me.

"What?" I asked them.

"So do you want to say anything?" Rani asked.

"Nothing!" I replied, shrugging.

"Nothing?" Imran asked.

"Yep! Nothing at all." I replied.

"It felt like he is saying that the last reply to you only, Pari." Rani said. But I didn't say anything at all.

"You know, Pari. He didn't even say anything to me. He did all these alone and bore with it these past few weeks." We heard Maam saying from her cabin.

Since when is she standing there?

I just shrugged and didn't say anything and not looking at anyone.

She sighed and said, "At least wait until he returns."

I nodded at her request. And with that, everyone returned to their places and started doing their work.

After some time, Mr.Akash reached our floor and came near me. He said, "Please come and meet me, Ms.Pari."

I nodded and went inside along with him. He went and sat down in his chair and gestured me to sit.

"Yes?" I asked him.

"So... Your reason for resigning is Ms.Shilpa right. Now she is not at all part of this company. Do you still want to resign?" He asked me.

'Do I' is the question even in my mind.

After a few minutes, I said, "If you have no problem, then I am fine here."

"Of course. I didn't even accept your resignation so you can work as usual." He said.

I nodded, then he continued by saying, "When you talked to me about the ball deal, I actually thought you were talking about the resign but not about the date."

I nodded again. He sighed and said, "I actually forgot about that with all these plans and everything. So forgive me."

Next, I replied which I have decided to do while thinking it as the right thing, and said, "It's, Ok. It doesn't matter at all. I will go and do my work, Mr.Stone."

And left him in shock and went to my desk.

My friends were waiting for me and asked, "You are staying right?"

"Yes! I am." I replied.

"Thank God!" Imran said.

"Why are you so dull then? What did Mr.Stone say?" Rashi asked.

"Mr.Stone didn't say anything, just apologized for the ball thing. He said that he actually thought my resignation was a ball deal and talked like that. Mr.Stone said he didn't remember about the date at all." I replied.

"Wait! You are referring him as 'Mr.Stone'." Rani said.

"Yeah! That is his name right." I said casually.

"You call him differently right?" Sakshi asked.

"Ball is finished along with the name-calling and, I am just his P.A so I have to call him like you-all do, right."

They were about to say something else, but I cut them off and said, "I have a lot of work, so I will go." And returned to my desk.

After some time, dad called me and asked 'Am I okay?' after watching the news. I assured him that I am fine and said, I miss them all.

I hope I am doing the right thing because there is only a tiny little doubt about my decision.

*Mr.Stone Pov*

These past few weeks were like 'Hell' for me. I hated myself many times for my behavior towards Ms.Pari.

The day when I want to say my feelings for her happened to be the day when I got the information that my family and Ms.Pari's life is in threat along with mine.

I got so angry because I don't want to lose them and also Ms.Pari. I really like her. I hated myself as her life is under threat because of me.

So I immediately shouted at her in frustration and fear, which are my first mistake. Then after that, I started planning to get the proof.

I started talking to Ms.Shilpa slowly and finally gave her secretary job. She is completely dumb and doesn't know anything.

When she joined she called me by my name, to which Ms.Pari stopped her and Ms.Rani gave her the reason.

I had to let her call me the same because I can't make their doubt look real, which will be dangerous for Ms.Pari and I also want to make Ms.Shilpa believe that she is special.

She is completely useless. She just kept on looking at me, and I had to do her job.

Next, that counselor job is a very big mistake. I am very proud because everyone wants Ms.Pari for that, and also they trust her.

Then Ms.Shilpa started saying that she wants that job in any case, and if I like her I will do it for her.

I didn't have any choice but do it. I still remember the hurt look on her face. I didn't think that Ms.Pari too could get the results.

I am sure she felt betrayed and that's why she wanted to resign, why I don't want to let it happen at all. I controlled myself from laughing so much when she talked about Ms.Shilpa.

I just wanted to end this immediately so I planned ball as the day for that.

When Ms.Pari asked me about the ball deal, I just thought that she is talking about my decision to make her stay until the ball.

After that when she asked me at what time I would arrive, I just thought she was asking about at what time I will arrive at the venue.

I totally forgot about the date with all these in my mind. That is the biggest mistake in my life. I shouldn't have done that. I should have at least told her before itself.

Then I saw her standing when I was dancing with Ms.Shilpa and showing a fake smile because she asked me to smile.

When I saw her reaction, which is a completely heartbreaking one I actually got confused, and then I remembered about the date.

She shook her head and went away. I so wanted to go after her and tell her everything, but I can't at this point. I thought I would explain everything to her everything the next day.

Ms.Shilpa got drunk on her own when I said that I would marry her, and she told me everything.

When she talked about Ms.Pari I so wanted to bash at her, but I controlled myself. After getting the proof I immediately send that to the police and my mobile.

Today when a reporter asked me if I wanted to say anything in the final I actually gave the reply which I wanted to give to Ms.Pari.

When I reached there I saw Ms.Pari and asked her to come to my cabin.

I gestured for her to sit after sitting in my chair.

"Yes?" She asked.

"So... Your reason for resigning is Ms.Shilpa, right. Now she is not at all part of this company. Do you still want to resign?" I asked her.

Please just don't leave! I thought calmly in my mind.

After a few minutes, she said, "If you have no problem, then I am fine here."

I released a breath of relief and felt very happy inside. She is not going to leave.

"Of course. I didn't even accept your resignation so you can work as usual." I said.

She nodded, then I continued saying, "When you talked to me about the ball deal, I actually thought you were talking about the resign but not about the date."

She nodded again. I sighed, thinking that I deserve this, and said, "I actually forgot about that with all these plans and everything. So forgive me."

I so wanted her to forgive me so that I can tell her that I like her now itself.

Then she said, "It's Ok. It doesn't matter at all. I will go and do my work, Mr.Stone."

And left my cabin, leaving me completely in shock. She called me 'Mr.Stone'.

Is this her way of saying something which I so don't want to hear at all?

I accept that I deserve it, but mostly I don't want her to hate me at all.

After a few minutes, Di entered my cabin and said, "So?"

"So, I told her my reason for the ball incident and apologized." I replied.

"Then what did she say?" Di asked.

"That it is completely ok and it doesn't matter at all. And do you know what she said before leaving?"

"What?" Di asked curiously.

"She called me Mr.Stone. Can you believe it?" I replied.

"Well, you deserve it. You need to work hard to make things like before, and you actually have to confess to her." She said.

"You are right!" I said, thinking of what should I do next...
