I can't believe Sheela stooped so low. I always have a doubt about her. Kind of bad vibes and I am sure that my brother would have felt that too.

However, he just decided to not even think like that and trust our mom. I wish he didn't do that, and I wish I should have stopped it at the beginning itself.

Today looking after my brother, I just want to do something to take away this problem. When dad got betrayed like this by his friend and died, my brother changed his personality to the level that he became Mr.Stone.

Now another betrayal and, which will end in losing his company. I fear that this will affect him on a whole new level.

He is not even letting me enter his world at present and be there for him. So, I know the only person who can do it.

I may be wrong, but this is my instinct. This time I want to go with it.

I called her and she lifted, saying, "Hello! Who is this?"

"Hello, Ms.Pari! I am Mrs.Simran. Can I talk to you?" I asked her.

"Yeah sure, Maam." She replied.

I took a deep breath and said, "So Ms.Pari I already know you must have heard the incident happened here."

"Yes, Maam. I even know that Sheela must be the wrong one here." she replied with confidence.

I smiled at that. I still can't believe when he said to our clients that Ms.Pari could never be a spy.

Now she is saying confidently without knowing anything that my brother is not at all the wrong one here.

These do know how to surprise others. I am much more confident that she is perfect for our company.

"Ms.Pari I want to ask you something. Can you join here again?" I asked her.

For a few seconds, there is pin-drop silence, and she said, "But Maam..."

I cut her off and said, "I am sorry instead of my brother. Please forgive him. We need you here at this moment."

"Brother you mean Mr.Stone. He is your brother?" she asked me, and shock is evident in her voice.

"Yes!" I replied.

"Brother as in 'Blood-related brother' or as in you treat him like your brother?" she asked.

She is seriously one hell of a curious one. "We both are blood-related. He is my little brother." I replied.

"Really? Wow!" she said.

"So as I am saying I am really..." I started to say, but she cut me off and said, "Maam! You don't need to apologize. I am going to be there before afternoon."

"Thank you, Ms.Pari. I am sure we will raise your salary when you return." I said feeling relieved.

"Maam! I will be fine even if you don't pay me my salary until this problem is solved completely. So don't worry about that at all. I will leave for the airport now." she said hanging up.

She called us all weird, but she is the one who is weird. Who doesn't want to take not only the raise they are going to get but also the whole salary?

Anyway, I am glad that she accepted. Now I just hope at least he opens up to her. And god, please send some solution through her.

*Pari Pov*

I am presently packing my bags after informing my parents about my leaving for Mumbai.

Dad immediately returned from his office and also arranged a private jet even after my opposing.

So anyway when Maam asked me to return I was about to say 'no' because I thought I couldn't face them all again and look like a loser or something.

I am literally shocked when she said Mr.Stone is her brother. Who guessed that? Maybe they all know except me because I never showed interest to know about any person. I am such a terrible person.

I finally reached Mumbai as I told her before afternoon. Now first, I went into my house and freshen up a little, and started to go to my office.

They will all be surprised to see me. I didn't inform anyone of them because I immediately got busy with packing, and then they are also in the office right. I am sure they wouldn't have lifted my call.

I reached my office and entered it. The receptionist didn't show any shock on her face and just smiled at me.

Then I entered the elevator and reached my floor. I took a deep breath before the elevator doors opened.

They all looked immediately towards me and dropped their jaws completely. However, I didn't say anything and knocked on Maam Cabin.

When I heard a reply 'come in' I entered her cabin. She looked up at me and got shocked for a few seconds, but said, "Ms.Pari, please sit down."

"Thank you, Maam!" I said.

"When you said you will be here before the afternoon, I thought it would be impossible as it will be so tight to get tickets, but you really did what you said." She said smiling.

I smiled at her, but asked, "Maam does anyone else other than this floor staff knows about my resign?"

"No! We didn't tell anyone." she replied. Now I can understand the receptionist's normal behavior.

"So, I have to return to do my work like usual." I said.

"Yes! And before that, can you do me a favor and talk to my brother?" she asked me.

"But Maam, why me?" I asked her completely confused.

"Trust me! You are perfect for this. Please do this for all of us and the company." She requested.

I nodded and got a smile from her. I left her cabin and got immediately thrown a lot of questions from my friends.

So I just replied a single answer for all of those questions that "Maam asked to like to consider my decision, so I just decided to work again."

"But didn't he insult you?" Imran asked.

"That got clashed when he saved me trusting me guys. So, I think it is for the best." I replied.

"I don't care. You are back, and that's all we need." Rani said.

I nodded but excused myself from them saying I have little work.

I stood in front of his cabin door and knocked on it, and I got 'Go away' as a reply.

Which I am not going to do for sure!

So I took a deep breath and opened the door, leaving my friends in another shocked state.

I went inside and saw that he is standing right in front of his window looking outside. I stood near him and cleared my throat.

He started saying, "How many times..." but couldn't complete it after turning towards me and realizing that it is me.

I expected words like 'What are you doing here?' or like, 'Didn't I tell you to go away?".

But what I didn't expect was him immediately crushing me with his hug as tight as he can.

Ok, Mr.Stone, if it is some new method by the entire boss to kill their employees, then it is definitely working.

Because I am on the verge of dying either due to not being able to breathe or due to rising in the heartbeat because of this person.

"Mr.Stone, can't breathe." I said above a whisper.

He loosened his grip, and I thought that he was going to leave me, but no, he is still hugging me but just letting me breathe. Ok then what about my heart it is also important right!

I just surprised myself and hugged him back because I know he needs it. After some time, he released me completely and said, "I am sorry, Ms.Pari. I shouldn't have shouted at you like that."

"Mr.Stone, it's ok. And I have to say thank you for actually trusting me in the files matter." I said and looked into his face.

He is really in a bad shape. With a little beard and bloodshot eyes, If Sheela comes in front of me right now, then I am sure I will kill her on the spot.

"I should have listened to you when you said not to leave my cabin unlocked." He said.

"Mr.Stone, it happens. However, what I don't understand is, How did she got her hands on your computer too." I said confused.

"What is there in my computer?" he asked me even more confused.

"Mr.Stone, did you forget! One day, I told you to even store those files scanning them in your system. But you just replied and didn't do it. Then after that I asked you that, can I store them, and you said 'sure'. So I stored them all in your computer." I said and hoping that he remembers it.

"Yeah, I remember it. You were just on my back to store them and when you asked me for doing it by yourself, I replied without thinking." He said remembering it.

"How did she get them from your computer?" I asked him.

"She must have not. No company stores them like that, and I still don't know why you even suggested it." he said.

"I got it from my dad. So it means that we have the files. Now all we have to do is make those clients pay for this." I said thinking.

"What do you have in mind?" he asked me moving towards his seat.

"Did they give any letter as a cancellation of the deals?" I asked him.

"Yes. Why?" he asked, frowning.

"Did they enclose the reason for canceling?" I asked him again.

"No! Because if they have enclosed it, there will be so much procedure we all have to go through along with them. So if we complain against them to cancel the deals without reason, they may ask us to show the files, which will make their win for sure." He replied.

"But now we can complain against them for the reason of not telling any reason, and if they say that because we lost the files, they did that. Then we will show them their files. Which will result from them paying a huge compensation for us and will also be a lesson for them." I said in one breath.

He just looked at me for a few minutes shocked and said, "If I even say anytime that 'You are fired' never I mean never leave this company."

I grinned at him. He continued saying, "What else do you know? You even advised just now like a lawyer. How do you know that?"

"I can even work for a few days as your PR and make this company gain its reputation." I suggested him.

"What do you have in mind?" he asked. So I explained to him my plan, which will be done after the lesson for the clients.

"Just tell me where you know all these and how?" he asked me again.

"Let's just say that I have a great teacher. And I am going to inform everyone to gather in the conference hall." I said and left his cabin.

In no time, everyone reached the hall, and Mr.Stone said he will join in a few seconds and asked me to start.

So I said, "We all know what is happening now in this company and also your demands. But before that, listen to me very careful." I said. And immediately everyone started giving me attention.

"It is true that we lost many clients, but they are backstabbers for this company, and let me assure you that they are going to pay for that. And as for the company I am saying with not a little doubt that it is not going to close down, and we will work hard to get back profits."

"So think again about your decision of leaving. Even though you all want to then we can only give two-month salaries as per company policy which you all signed when joining here. If you want to strike the company has a right to sue you all for the disturbance." I said and immediately few people started protesting.

"You all may feel that we are doing wrong, but I personally feel that you will be in a good place if you stay here." I advised.

"Think about your decision and whoever wants to leave can come near me and sign your resignations, that's it and think wisely. One more thing if we feel that there are some spys like that, they will be removed immediately so better those spies remove themselves." I ended the conference, and we all went to our floors.

When I reached my floor, everyone clapped for me and started congratulating me. Nevertheless, Mr.Srinivas already packed his things and decided to leave.

He is the first one to leave, but, before leaving he said, "You are very good for this company. I am glad that I worked with you. I am not leaving for the reason as everyone has, I just want to retire and take a rest."

After him, only a few members left, and many apologized to Mr.Stone.

Mr.Stone, Maam, and I gave the complaints against the clients and printed the files from the system.

The files they gave us are already printed ones and are not original, so there will be not any problem at all.

It is already late so I started to leave, but Maam said, "I know Ms.Pari, that you will find some solution. My decision is not a wrong one."

"Thanks for believing in me, Maam. And don't worry, we will all work hard to gain many other clients soon." I said and then saw Mr.Stone standing behind her.

He just nodded at me, and I too did the same. Now his face is again a blank one.

Maybe the old Mr.Stone is back but may have a little change than before.

I just witnessed the vulnerable Mr.Stone in the afternoon.

I hope I will never get to see him in that state again...

*Mr.Stone Pov*

After Ms.Pari left, Di turned towards me and asked "Now will you believe me that Ms.Pari is perfect for this job."

"I believe it completely." I replied.

"Did you see how she handled those many members and have that authoritative voice? She is really one of a kind with many talents." Di said, smiling, and left the office.

This time I accept the word Di is saying. I don't know why I hugged her as my life depended on that.

Di too didn't see me in such a state, but Ms.Pari saw that and brought me out of that.

I always feel different when she is around. I don't know why?
