03|Karma Is A Bitch.
"Don't get my personality and my attitude twisted, because my personality is me, and my attitude depends on you."
Melina's pov.
"Bye dad, Reese is here!" I announce as I run towards the front door.
"Take care and come back by 8pm," my dad says walking towards me with a smile, and I nod.
I walk out to see a grey color jaguar f type with Reese in the driving seat. It's one of my favorite cars. I've got a Ferrari f12, but jaguar is the best. Reese flashes a grin as I get inside the car. As usual, Reese looked hot in a pair of jeans and a blue T-shirt. "Hey Reese!"
"Hey sexy," he greets me back with a smirk. I roll my eyes with a smile as he starts driving.
"Where to?" I ask him while tuning in some music.
"Bowling," he says and I look at him with excitement.
"It's been a long time since I've gone there,"
He nods in response and drives through the streets of New York. I tune in some music and don't let me down by the chainsmokers starts playing.
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
I call your name but you're not around
I say your name but you're not around
I need ya, I need ya, I need you right now
Yeah, I need you right now
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
I think I'm losing my mind now
It's in my head, darling, I hope
That you'll be here, when I need you the most
So don't let me, don't let me, don't let me down
D-don't let me down
Don't let me down
Don't let me down, down, down
Don't let me down, don't let me down, down, down
I sing along, and my phone buzzes. Bailey.
Bailey: I can't come over tomorrow; Alex is taking me on a date.
Small smile tugs on my lips as I read the message.
Me: it's okay. Enjoy yourself.
I shove my phone back into my pocket and listen to the music. It feels good to relax after a whole week of drama. Spending time with Reese was something I missed since two years. The best thing about him is that he doesn't judge which everyone else usually does.
"Dad wants to meet you," I tell him with a grin. He's pretty close to my family too.
"My parents want to meet you too. Let's do this; I'll come over tomorrow, and you can come over during the next weekend." He suggests and I pretend to think with a finger on my chin.
"I'm cool with it," I grin, and he smirks. I look out to see the building that I've been to nearly a year ago.
Frames Bowling Lounge
Reese drives up to the front and we get out of the car. I didn't really get dressed today. I just put on a pair of blue Jean's shorts and a white tank top with my favorite converse.
Reese hands over the keys of his car to the valet and places a hand around my shoulders. We walk in, and Reese fills in a new membership form. It looks like I'll be coming here often now.
You're probably wondering what happened last night at the party. Let me fill you in with the details.
Last year, I had a friend called Lisa, who left New York because of the dick head, Ryan. She was dating him and one day I found him making out with Giselle. I took a video of them and sent it to Lisa just to let her down that Ryan was cheating on her. Lisa was too heartbroken and after a few months, she left New York.
So, everything that Ryan has done was just to take a revenge against me. Firstly, all the boys whom I've dated are total dick heads and secondly, I don't care. I didn't have to be like the girls who cry over their past, but I'm a girl who's strong enough to defend herself and can kick out all the pieces of shit in my way.
"Let's go," Reese's voice snaps me out of my thoughts. I nod with an excited grin and walk with him towards the alleys.
I take the first turn and curiously wait for the ball to hit the pins. Ha! Nine out of ten.
"Damn!" I groan, and Reese let's out a laugh before taking his turn. He has his annoying smirk plastered across his face.
"Over confident much," I point out grinning, and he releases the ball. Alright! It's a fucking strike.
"Just confident," he grins into my ear and rolled my eyes before taking my turn again. I release the ball and pray that it's a strike.
"That's a strike!" I squeal and Reese laughs at my excitement. A few people glance at me before returning to their own game. I probably looked like a five-year-old.
This is turning out to be the most exciting day that I've had in nearly a year.

"Here's your order," Mark says. Mark is a worker here in Di Fara Pizza. I met him here and year ago, and we became good friends.
"Thanks Mark," I acknowledge him with a huge grin, and he winks at me. I love pizza, and I'm hungry as fuck right now.
I start digging into my pizza making Reese laugh off a little, and I kick his leg under the table which results in him groaning in pain. I giggle before I get back to the heavenly pepperoni pizza. Best way to end a perfect day.
We finish eating in fifteen minutes, and I take the last sip of my coke and look at Reese, who's busy typing on his phone. "Reese?"
"Hmmm..." I roll my eyes at his response as he continues to type on his phone.
"Re-" my phone starts ringing and its dad.
"Hey dad," I greet him as I pick the call.
"Melina you need to come home," he says in a low voice.
"Dad what's wrong?" I question.
"Just come home. We've got a guest," he says with a chuckle and hangs up.
Fucking hell.
I stand up and Reese looked up at me with confusion. "I need to go home,"
"Okay but what happened?" He asks, standing up and following me out.
"Dad called," I reply and start thinking about who dad was talking about.
"Mel stop," Reese forces me to stop and look at him.
"What?" I ask him still trying to process what my dad said.
"You're over thinking," he points out, and I sigh.
"Dad never sounds stressed out over the phone, and he says that we've got a guest," I explain.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Reese definitely figures out things faster than I do.
"No, she can't come back after a whole fucking year!" I whine shaking my head and walk up to the car.
"Let's just go and find out who it is," Reese says as we get into the car. I put on my seat belt and get back to thinking.
Reese starts driving, and we stay silent. I thought that I was finally having a wonderful day and like always I'm wrong.
There's only one person coming to my mind, but I can't confirm it, unless I actually see. The car stops snapping me out of my thoughts, and I hop out of the car. Reese follows me, and I ring the bell while impatiently tapping my foot against the floor.
My dad opens the door with a sheepish smile on his face, and I storm past him, walking inside. My jaw drops when I see who it was. My thoughts just came into reality. Karma is a bitch for ruining my day.
I open my mouth, but no words come out. When I finally find my voice, I choke out two words.
"Mom, leave."

So what do you guys think? cliffhanger again? Next chapter would probably be of Ryan's pov but I'm not making promises.
Was the chapter worth the wait or was it boring? And sorry for the late update.
