4. Friends I'm Assuming?
"Tyson... I wish I could tell you but I can't!"
"Just go away." Tyson growled from behind a locked door. "I don't want an imaginary friend!"
Melody sighed and didn't respond. She just looked away from the bathroom door. He was probably going to be in there for a while to avoid her so, she might as well explore the place.
The girl turned around to be met with a hallway. It contained three doors.
"Eenie meanie minie moe." Her fingers moved to each door before landing on the middle. Melody smiled and hummed, skipping over and turning the knob. The door opened silently and she peered in.
Her eyes were met with the brightest blue walls she had ever seen. A little boys race car bed was pressed up against the wall, underneath a large window. On the opposite end was a table with two chairs. She carefully walked over. Crayons were strewn on the table, along with papers that had drawings.
Melody picked one up, a smile coming to her face as she saw childish drawings of, what she assumed was, Tyson's family. The taller stick figure had straw like hair with two smaller stick figures, both containing more curly hair. Her smile disappeared as she realized there was no dad on the drawing. Placing the paper down, Melody decided she'd ask Tyson about that later.
She left the room and closed the door carefully despite no one else being home. His mother had taking his younger brother, Ryan, to a play date and wouldn't be back till later.
Her next stop was the door on the right. She stepped in to be met with a master bedroom that was a lot bigger than Ryan's. A large bed adorned with a creme colored comforter sat in the middle with a very disorganized desk off to the side. Connected was a bathroom and a closet that Melody decided not to visit.
She walked over to the desk and sifted through some papers seeing a few bills and other random items. She found it quite boring after a while of just looking at numbers on a paper so she set them down and exited the room, turning to the final door on the left.

Tyson leaned his head against the door and sighed a little. It had been a while since he heard Melody but he didn't want to leave and have her try to talk to him again.
His fingers tapped against the floor as he sat in a silence that seemed to last forever. He eventually gave up and dragged himself to his feet, turning the door knob and leaving the bathroom.
A frown grew on his face as he realized Melody wasn't in the hall. "Melody..." He called out a little quietly before walking to his room and opening the door.
Sitting on his bed was Melody. One of his yearbooks from middle school was in her hand and she was looking at the pages with interest, not even realizing he had come in.
Tyson walked over and kicked his shoes off. He climbed on the bed slowly and joining her.
"Hey." She said softly before turning a page and looking at that one as well.
"Hi." He settled down beside her and looking at the page she was on.
It was the "friends page." Tyson had never been to fond of it, as he thought everyone knew who others friends were.
In the middle of the page was him and two other boys. Melody read the caption.
"Tyson, Jacob, and Ryan." She whispered. "Friends I'm assuming?"
He nodded, confirming her thoughts. "Ryan moved though. He never went to my high school. Left after 8th grade to Arizona. Not sure why though."
"Mm..." She closed the book and set it on his nightstand. "I should go... First day I was just supposed to introduced myself and not stay this long." She stood up from the bed. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow?" Tyson paused. "Yeah, yeah I guess you will."
Melody smiled at him and waved. "Bye till tomorrow." She quickly faded away till she was gone completely.

This was a little hard to write shoot. I meant to have it come out last Saturday because I wanted to post twice but I couldn't bring myself to write, not sure why
So I decided that extra updates are at random. They will only happen if I finish a chapter early or if I just really feel inspired so yeah :3
