After an year .....

It's been an year exactly when everyone came for manik's birthday last year and the most unforgettable day of our lives ...... Yes I have been kidnapped exactly a day before manik's birthday.... tomorrow is manik's birthday and he is not here with me ....i know he won't come bcoz he don't want to celebrate or see the people who lost their loving one's it's Harika and me , bcoz he forgets even he lost his friend and baby and needs me by his side ....

He brought  me to Mumbai before two months along with Raj dad who came to check on our resort and meet his friend , he left  me here  not bcoz he is scared of my safety but for his sister's wedding not Ruhi , Prachi or Rhea , it's mukti I'm talking about ....it's her marriage with amar .....and also we came here to celebrate mukti's achievement, it's not her achievement but an unforgettable gift to manik....

She has achieved what she wants that's her own hospital bcoz she got her share of property given by her grand father after his death , both her parents tried to manipulate her and invest it in their business but she left home taking those papers , she started a hospital with all that money not even taking a penny from it bcoz her grand father is very good unlike her father , She named it as "RV hospitals" on Ranveer and our daughter's name , yes our daughter bcoz manik wanted to name our first daughter as " Veera - a soldier " ; manik and Harika shed tears of happiness on mukti's hospital inauguration day . When someone asked her why " RV "  , she said bcoz they both have a special place in her life that's Ranveer who saved his best friend and soul sister bcoz of whom she got a family and the little soul who is her baby "Veera" who has rights to call her bua - but even before her birth she became a great soldier like how her father wanted to name her,  she went with her Ranveer mamu to be with him in heaven as he would be alone there , if not for them i would have been devasted losing my soul sister and these both saved lives by giving their lives so what more can be a better name than this bcoz people come to hospital with a hope it will save them , and Ranveer and Veera did the same they saved lives is what she said making everyone proud of her thinking bcoz they are not her own blood related family but it's her humanity she is doing all this on their name by being selfless ,  after that  she summoned me no...no.... she threatened me , Aliya , Harika to be as the head of departments and also the part of trustee committee, Harika immediately gave her approval and also all the savings of her money for heart patients bcoz it's the hospital made to help people in the name of Ranveer, Manik immediately gave the share of our second daughter for the hospital in the name of kids bcoz our first daughter will always be swecha .....  Even everyone from the whole family brought shares making mukti cry with happiness bcoz her own parents felt it's just a business and it will grow rapidly with the increase of patients, but mukti clearly said no to them bcoz it's like a trust to help people who can't afford getting treated anywhere bcoz of money they charge in other hospitals....

We lost our loving ones exactly after three days  , manik  still remember that ... But does time stop for anyone ..... Everyone says people heal with time , that's true bcoz i can see all my family members laughing happily sitting on the round dinning table of the terrace of our resort , it's the fav place of me and dad for a date as well as manik and swecha....

Today we are here bcoz day after tomorrow is mukti's engagement with Amar. Papa ( shikar) said that he would love to get his other daughter that's mukti to get married from his home just like me  and Chandra Bhai but mukti said she doesn't want her parents to blame anyone whom she loves more than them ..... Yes she loves the whole Murthy , Malhotra , Raichand and my  nanu family who accepted her wholeheartedly.... She personally took me  and amar to Dubai and invited  Nana , nani , badi maa and others to her marriage  along with Raichand family from Delhi .... That's why I'm with my  family helping mukti with her wedding not with my major ..... In fifteen days she is going to get married and i was just hoping my major would attend this wedding and take me back ..... Yes we talk daily , even fought a lot but never thought that he would leave me here and won't take me with him  like the start of our wedding , i stopped talking to him for a week bcoz he left me here against my will but later i couldn't stop myself from talking to him.....

I was waiting eagerly for him , but he is unreachable bcoz he is on a mission ... I couldn't ask him details bcoz it's a secret mission .... I'm not scared of his safety bcoz i know he loves me more to come back safely for me but I'm angry on him for not talking to me from the past one week .... I know he will attend mukti's wedding for sure bcoz it's her wish that ....you will know in wedding .....

I was so busy talking to myself but came 0ut of trance hearing a loud shout of cabir.....

Nandu pov completed .....

Present .....

Everyone who sat there on the dinning table for eating breakfast are just looking at cabir in shock bcoz he is crying like a kid who's toy is snatched away .....

Navya : cabir what's wrong ??? She asked bcoz she is just beside him ....the whole family are waiting for his answer .....bcoz avni , nandu, kumud , Zoya  are serving food ....mukti is talking to her future saas ,  Harika is feeding her baby boy who is just 4 months old , Zain's wife - Aliya is pregnant ....Asad is playing with his newly born daughter .... All the unmarried are teasing each other they are harshad , arya , Jenny , ruhi , Aditya , Rhea , prachi ..... All the elders are planning the wedding ....

Yes as per mukti's wish her wedding is not taking place in anyone's house not even amar's house , the Murthy's and Malhotra family arranged it in the resort of Malhotra's , the whole family are going to stay there and enjoy the wedding .....

Navya : cabir stop irritating me and say clearly why are you being dramatic in the morning itself ?? She asked crossing her hands on the front...

Cabir : i know mukti opened a hospital for the poor which is free but I didn't knew nandu would make me a patient there , saying he started crying again ....

"What the hell is he saying ? " is the feeling of everyone .....

Nandu : cabir why will you become a patient that to bcoz of me ? She asked still standing beside his chair ..... everyone are having the same reaction on their faces .....

Cabir : Yes Mrs Major, just bcoz of you.  I know tum manik ki khayalon main khoyi Hui ho but how could I eat such special dishes served by you , gulab jamun in chole , tomato sauce in orange juice , toast in sambar .....three unique dishes no one has ever tasted ..... He said showing his plate .....

That's when everyone noticed cabir's plate and burst out laughing bcoz nandu is the one who served him.....

Nandu : I ......I ....cabir ....she just stammer not knowing what to say bcoz it's true she is lost till now ...... everyone laughed more now bcoz they got to know its nandu's fault .....

On seeing nandu not laughing everyone stopped and navya hit cabir's head ....

Navya : idiot why can't you serve yourself .....she asked and took away the plate and gave him a fresh one ....but still cabir is cracking jokes on nandu's special dishes .....Zain joined him teasing nandu more, expecting a return fight from her but she didn't even speak a word. ......

But nandu still stood there not knowing what to do ..... All the elders  are just looking at her still smiling with concern bcoz no matter what they did she is always lost  thinking about manik ....

But Neonika noticed someone behind nandu and smiled to the brightest ..... Bcoz she knew now nandu will not be sad...

Nandu just had tears rolled down her face when she heard the voice she yearned to hear the whole week. ......

" Who is teasing my wife in my absence ?",
is what she heard from manik .......who is behind her she didn't even turn back but still is crying ; everyone are more than happy looking at manik who now stood behind nandu ....

Cabir : Agayi Mr Major Malhotra desh ko bachakar , ab apni Mrs Major ko bachane from our teasings , he asked looking at manik now ......

Manik now enveloped nandu in a back hug not caring of anyone bcoz he knew she must be crying that's y she didn't turn to look at him .....

Manik : Yes ofcourse I'm here for her , he said and she  immediately turned around in the hug holding him tight and burst out in tears without even looking at his face showing her anger, manik just held her close kissing her forehead.

The whole family had tears of happiness bcoz this is what they are missing seeing Mr Major and Mrs Doctor Malhotra together .....

Manik : oye doctor sunna , he called her trying to break the hug but she didn't even move an inch , it's like someone stuck her to him ...

Seeing her not even moving Neonika came to rescue her Bahu , bcoz she knew the youngsters wouldn't stay quiet and also she knew manik nandu needs privacy as they are meeting after two months .....

Neonika: manik go freshen up nandu will show you your room , i will send you both breakfast there, take rest and no one is leaving today you can meet everyone after sometime , she said asking him to take nandu away .....

Manik still held her in a side hug bcoz nandu's hold on manik is still strong and she didn't even lift her head. He just walked out still holding her close to him , they reached the lift and moved in to see it empty ....

Manik : which floor are we in doctor ? He asked but nandu just clicked on 20 number in the lift .....

Manik just pulled her closer to him making her snuggle more into him ......

They just came out from the lift on 20 floor very soon bcoz they are on the terrace which is on the 30 floor ...... They moved out together in the same position .....

But nandu stopped walking after they reached a door making manik halt his steps ....

Manik : Is this our room ?? He asked her bcoz she stopped walking .....

Nandu's dressing style imagine magalsutra and sindoor......

Nandu didn't say anything to him but took the key card from her salwar pocket and opened the door walking in ......

Manik walked in after her and placed the bag on his shoulders on the floor near the door ....he saw nandu standing in the centre of the room showing her back to him .....

Manik moved to her and hugged her from back , this time she didn't even turn front to hug him ......

Manik : I'm sorry doctor , is what manik said to be pushed away from nandu .....
