Mr Major and Mrs Doctor Malhotra

In military hospital ...

After One month of the bomb blast , nandu Manik became fully busy in this one month . Manik with the investigation of the bomb blast and nandu with the treatment of patients of the bomb blast . Nandu is so scared to even sleep at nights , she had nightmares of the blast . Manik is sometimes at home and sometimes nandu is alone . Nandu's health is also not well bcoz of sleepless nights due to nightmares and also more work in hospital .

It's has been nearly after eights months of manan marriage, six months of nandu coming to kashmir to live with Manik and two months after Raksha Bandhan , manan never visited to Mumbai after coming to kashmir and none of the family members came to visit them after Rakhi, it's just phone and video calls .....

Manik comes running to the hospital to take nandu home , he is running bcoz his doctor ( nandu ) asked him to pick up after work and he is late . He directly moved in and checked her cabin she is not there , he asked in the reception they said they didn't see nandu , he thought of asking Harika and moved in , he saw Harika standing there in the corridor talking to nurses near the Operation theatre .

Manik ; Harika , where is she ?? He asked reaching her ....

Harika : kon ??? She asked turning to him .

Manik : nandu ....

Harika : aaj toh vo ayi hi nahi ....

Manik : I left her here in front of the hospital after lunch as she is not well in the morning.....

Harika : but she didn't come here , she just called me and told she will take a leave today ....

Manik : stop playing pranks Harika ....

Harika : no Manik , I swear nandu nahi ayi aaj ....

Manik : oh god ...

Harika : kya hua ?? Y r u worried ...

Manik : nandu ka phone not reachable , ghar ka landline par koi pick nahi kar raha tha . Iqbal aur asma dono ka phones ring horaha hae but no one picked it , she is not in hospital also ....

Harika : may be asma ko pata hoga , she will be at home right , let's go home and see ....she said joining him....

Manik : yeah I should check at home , saying he started to move out ....

But as soon as they turned to move out , they saw crying Iqbal rushing into the hospital with someone on the stretcher. Doctor's and nurses are rushing along with him....

Manik is shocked on seeing the person on stretcher ...

Manik : how did this happen ?? He asked Iqbal as soon the person on the stretcher is taken into emergency unit for treatment ....

Iqbal : I don't know , I'm coming back from market taking things nandu asked me , I saw a crowd on the road , I saw her there lying in blood unconscious , he said crying more ...

Manik : asma ko kuch nahi hoga Iqbal, saying he hugged Iqbal , but she is here where is nandu?? When did she ask u to bring things ?? She came to hospital with me na after lunch , he asked immediately ...

Iqbal : nandu returned back from hospital as soon as u dropped her , I only picked her up as she felt uneasy to work , after dropping her home I left to bring grocery , asma and nandu are happily talking in the hall , I don't know how asma reached market ,It's my mistake I didn't take my phone with me ..... I don't know how she is hurt badly . He said with more tears rolling down his eyes ....

Manik : oh no , Harika call Ranveer . Iqbal please contact our gaurds . I hope nandu is safe .

Saying he started calling Harshad and arya .

He heard a gasp even before arya lifts the call , he turned to see Harika holding her head .....

Manik : what happened ?? Nandu ka kuch pata chala .....he asked being scared of her safety ....

Harika : we need to go to headquarters , veer ne bulaya , she said to Manik .

Manik : but why ?? I just took leave from work after talking to him. He asked being confused .

Harika : he didn't say anything Manik , he asked us to come early ,even though veer told her something she didn't say Manik .

Manik :he asked both of us to come , he asked Harika , she just nodded in yes. Iqbal u stay with asma , pay the bills saying he gave a card to him .

Iqbal : no sir , I will manage . He said refusing the card .

Manik : just shut up and do as I say , pay the bills . Get asma treated , she is my sister remember that and nothing will happen to her stay strong . I will come back with nandu , Harika chalo . Saying he left with Harika .

Iqbal prayed to allah , to keep nandu safe and also for recovery of asma . He sat there on the bench covering his face with his palms .

Manik and Harika reached headquarters in complete silence , none of them spoke a word in car .

Manik moved in to see arya , Harshad standing near the door with fear stricken faces. He is about to asked them what happened but Mr batra ( lieutenant ) called him inside......

Manik , arya , Harshad moved inside to see Ranveer busy barking orders to do fast ....

Manik : what happened ??? Anything serious ....he asked Ranveer ....

Ranveer pointed a screen , Manik turned the other side to see a video being paused .....

Ranveer played the video , where he can see nandu being tied with ropes and she is unconscious....

Manik : what the hell is this ?? Who sent this video ?? Kaha hae nandu ??? Saying he grabbed the collar of Ranveer ...

Ranveer : anonymous message , that too this packing is left at the gate of our head quarters , gaurd called us out after u left , being the incharge of bomb squad , I checked it thoroughly thinking it might be some bomb . But after getting confirmed there is no bomb in it I opened it and we found these , saying he gave her a watch .

Manik : this watch belongs to nandu , I have the same saying Manik showed his watch . She gifted me after our marriage . Why is it in this box??

Ranveer : we got this pen drive which had the video in which nandu is kidnapped , he said and Manik is about to loose his balance but Arya immediately held him .

Mr batra ( lieutenant): Manik , get a grip on yourself . We need to save her .

Manik : I failed to protect her sir , she is kidnapped .

Mr batra : we will save her Manik , let's wait for the call .

Manik : I hope they don't do something wrong with her ....he said but tears didn't come out of his eyes ....

Mr batra : I informed council and higher officials they are ready to take any risk to save her  , they are with us .

Manik : sat there for a long time but no information about nandu ...

Mr batra : Manik do u know anyone who might hurt nandu ??

Manik : who might have kidnapped her sir , she is so innocent sir , she never hurt anyone sir . Y her ?? Infact she saves lives sir ......

Mr batra : do u have any doubt on anyone ??

Manik : no sir , but I think we should check market area cc tv footage .....

Mr batra : what ??

Manik : my gaurds wife asma is found hurt badly in the market , she is our cook . She is like a sister to me , she always stays with nandu . May be she knows something but she is unconscious in hospital . May be they are together when nandu got kidnapped ....

Harshad : I will go get the footages from traffic department .......

Arya : I'm coming with u ....saying Arya Harshad left to get the footages ...

Mr batra : Manik I think u should go home , what if they contact ur home numbers or anything. I will stay here and Inform u if any call or Message comes ....

Manik : but sir ....

Mr batra : Manik u are a major , u have caught many enemies . Someone might be left out , they might have done this to take revenge. So they might contact ur home . U go home we will tap all ur phones don't worry . We will save nandu for sure ....

Ranveer : I will go with him sir ....saying Ranveer Manik left the head quarters along with Harika who is waiting outside for them bcoz Ranveer told her in call that nandu is kidnapped , he only asked her to come to head quarters for her safety along with manik....

Manik sat like a dead soul in Ranveer car in the back seat .... Ranveer is driving them home with Harika beside him ....

Manik came home to get a big shock , that is his whole family along with murthy's , nandu's brothers and bhabi's , his badi maa and family , Raichand family and  the biggest shock is his badi dadi,  sister of his dadi are here along with cavya , drulya , mukti Amar and Jenny   ....

Manik just thought they got the news of nandu being kidnapped so they are here.... He got scared to meet shikar bcoz he gave him Nandu with so much trust and he failed to protect her ....

Swecha came running to Manik and hugged him tight on his legs ........

Swecha : chachu apko pata hae we are waiting outside  from afternoon chachi kaha hae, why is the house locked . Chachi said she will welcome me home with a big surprise kaha hae vo ?? She said we will surprise u together . Is she in hospital ?? Take me to her na ....

Manik didn't know what to say he just sat on his knees and hugged her tight and burst into tears . Everyone are shocked seeing him crying badly . Neo ran to him and patted his head , he left swecha and hugged neo tight crying more ....

None of them had an idea why he is crying but Ranveer had tears looking at his best friend in so much pain . Even Ranveer is sad Bcoz nandu became his best friend in very less days , Harika is also crying so Ranveer took her in a side hug .....

Neo : kya hua bacha , bolo apni mom ko y these tears , did u and nandu have any fight ?? ....she asked cupping Manik face in between her palms .....

Manik : Mom...vo nandu ....he said but couldn't say anything bcoz he burst into tears again .....

Neo : kya hua nandu ko ?? She only asked us to come here ?? Kaha hae vo ??

Manik : she got ....he couldn't complete ...on seeing this Ranveer interfered....

Ranveer : actually aunty ... Nandu ..as soon as he said ... everyone's attention shifted to him bcoz Manik hide himself in neo arms crying badly ....

Harika : she is kidnapped , saying she hugged Ranveer tight and burst into tears ...

What ??? Is the reaction of everyone ....

Raj : what are u speaking !? He asked in high pitched tone ...

Ranveer : yes sir , we got to know just few hours ago , she is kidnapped by someone and asma is also hurt badly .she is in hospital we are clueless of who kidnapped her and why ....?? The whole force is trying to get details , even Arya Harshad went to that work . We came home bcoz Manik might get any calls on home number . They might be trying to take revenge on him or may be anyone we don't know ....

The whole family has tears for nandu bcoz she is special to everyone....

Shikar just sat on his place not knowing how to react bcoz his daughter who he loves more than anyone is kidnapped . Naziya is hugging him and crying .... Neo is trying to talk to Manik who became numb after crying . Swecha is just hugging Neil in fear seeing her chachu and everyone crying . Chandra just couldn't believe what he heard , kummud is crying but still she stood beside Chandra holding their son supporting him .

Zain and asad are hugging their wives who are crying , all the ladies and gents of the family are completely in grief now...

Even the gaurds of the house and cleaners , worker's has tears knowing nandu is missing ....

Dadu didn't talk or cry after listening to what ranveer said ...

Ranveer requested everyone to move Inside bcoz they need to be there to attend the phone call if they contact Manik directly .

My college  has been reopened , so I will not publish daily  One story , no weekly schedule will be followed . I will update all my stories , monthly once or twice ....
