Part 48

Manik moved inside the train after checking his ticket , he is already missing his doctor .

He just opened the door of the room in train which led to his seat, but he was shocked on seeing the person in front of him , sitting on the berth , most probably waiting for his arrival .

"Nandini ", is the only word escaped his mouth.She winked at him making him smile wider , his eyes even moistened looking at her . She understood his inner turmoil and moved to him and hugged him tight making him believe that she is here coming with him . He hugged her back tight .

Manik : I love you , he said kissing her lips .....

He backed off from the kiss after few minutes , but smile is not leaving his face.....

Manik : sorry, we are in train.

Nandu : this room is all ours , it's booked .

Manik : what ??? I booked only my seat .

Nandu : rest all are booked by appa , he doesn't want any interference between us.

Manik : but , you are here , how is it possible ???

Nandu : first of all u need to sit , for us to talk .

Manik sat on the seat opposite to nandini , he saw luggages placed on the top berths , looks like everything is planned .

Nandu opened a box giving him,

Nandu : complete this first , you didn't eat proper breakfast .

Manik : first tell me everything, plzz doctor.

Nandu : you can eat and listen , you don't need your mouth to listen .

Manik took the box from her knowing there is no way he could win against her , he started eating .

Flash back ...

After the conversation with shikar , nandu got up the next morning and decided what to do .

First of all ,she called all the Malhotra's to Murthy house excluding manik & swecha , Even mukti cabir Navya are present there .

Naziya : what happened nandu , y did u call everyone .

Nandu : I have something important to share , actually manik asked me if I can come with him to kashmir , bcoz he is going to live in quarters and has a duty only at day time that's training the cadets , I know he didn't ask anyone , bcoz he himself assumed that I don't want to come and finally got ready to go alone , but I want to go with him , for that I need the permission of my whole family , that's y I called u all here .

Neo : he seriously assumed u won't join him, she asked looking at nandu .

Nandu nodes in yes ...

Reena : not his fault , it's in there genes .

Rajat : Reenaaa , he whines like a kid .

Making everyone laugh ,but they are stopped by Rajat voice .

Rajat : r u seriously willing to go beta , bcoz he will not have any change in his work , but you have a good passion to do your work I don't want you to loose it .

On hearing him Murthy family smiled brightly thinking that desicion of getting nandu married in Malhotra family is best desicion, bcoz here they are not thinking of manik but thinking of nandu's career ,if any other would be in there place would immediately ask nandu to resign and leave for their son happiness .

Nandu : dadu , I want to do this heartfuly . Bcoz it's not for him alone , we just got married and I want us to spend time with each other to know each other in a better way , it's not possible if none of us takes a step , he took a step by making his posting changed for one year , he could have took the promotion And joined border again but he didn't do that bcoz he willingly got transferred , I got to know this from Jenny as Arya shared it with her, now I want to take the step from my side by going with him, coming to my job I can treat people any where , not only in mumbai , first of all I will go there , if hospital is good I will find a job , I already informed the Dean about me quitting the job as I wanted to get transferred with my husband , he said I can come back anytime and I will get my job back so nothing to worry , even if I don't work there and enjoy the new phase of being a house wife I can later join back here so, I'm not gonna loose my career , it's just like taking a long maternity leave.

Neo : I hope you take maternity leave soon.

Nandu blushes listening to this , and everyone smiles , finally one by one everyone said yes except shikar and raj ,nandu even said she will  convince swecha , as she is in Malhotra house with manik ....

Raj : I have a condition , than Only I will let u go .

Nandu : what's that dad ??

Raj : you both are not going to live in that quarters , I have always wished to buy a house in Kashmir and also my friend told me there is a good house there near our resort , you both have to stay there , bcoz even if we visit u guys it would be near to our resort .

Nandu moves forward and stood in front of Raj , he stood up looking at her ,she hugged him tight .

Nandu : thank u dad .

Raj : you don't have to thank me , see we are happy to have daughters at home , and I want u to be happy and we earn to provide everything to our kids ,so don't thank me , but for sure punch your husband for not sharing anything with us .

Nandu laughed loudly listening to him ,she than looked at her appa for an answer .

Nandu : what about you appa ??

Shikar : I have no problem bcoz now I have two more daughters avni and mukti to go on dates , you can go to your husband .

Nandu : so what you have them , whenever you want to meet me just catch a flight , we are not poor for not affording a flight ticket right  .

Shikar : I will for sure .

Like this the whole family spent the afternoon together, Malhotra's left nandu in Murthy mansion to spend time with her family , manik is sitting in his room sulking alone bcoz he thought of spending time with nandu before leaving but she is in Murthy mansion .

He saw swecha playing in the garden ,so took her out for shopping and park and enjoyed his day with her , he sat in the kitchen that night and demanded neo to make his favourite foods , which she did with full happiness and even fed him with her hands .

Manik recieved a call from nandu saying she is going to have a date with shikar that day and next day bestie time with mukti to which he accepted but didn't say anything like asking her to come back . she also played with the new born baby , enjoyed teasing chandra , listened to her amms like a good girl and slept in the lap of her ammijaan . This is how manan spent the two days with family .

Than nandu called manik to take her home , she enjoyed with swecha and the whole family . She packed her whole luggage with help of avni and even convinced swecha that she will go with her chachu and take care of him , to which she asked nandu to video call her daily and nandu accepted it.

Finally , when manik is bidding bye to
All even nandu did the same behind him and got inside the train before him , all the luggage is placed inside by Neil and chandra who gave her instructions to take care she hugged both of them .

Present ....

Manik : so much planning behind me .

Nandu : what to do when my husband assumes so many things about me , and wanted to go away leaving me alone , when he can take me with him , I think he don't want to spend time with me.

Manik : it's not like that doctor .

Nandu : it is like that mr Malhotra and I'm very angry on you for assuming that I won't come with u and also u didn't even give me a chance to say my opinion , so I'm not talking with you .

She says with a grumpy face , but manik smiled looking at her and moved to her and sat beside her , nandu averted her face to the other side . He just hugged her tight .

Manik : sorry , I know if I demand u to come with me , you will come with me , but I don't want to force you bcoz I know you love our family and are gonna miss them , I know the pain of staying away from family ,I don't want to give you the same pain , that's y I thought so much before asking u and later I regret asking u bcoz I know it's too hard to leave all , but you know now I'm more happy to have u here , it feels like a dream bcoz last time when I travelled alone without even informing u , I felt guilty for leaving you Nd going . I'm sorry .

Nandu : dare you think and assume things , talk to me major plz , give me sometime to atleast think and say my opinion....

Manik : ok , but r u really happy coming with me , I don't want you to do something just for my happiness .

Nandu : what if I say I'm not happy ??? Will u let me go back home ??

Manik : yes , I will take you with me we will enjoy for a week or ten days than I will send you back .

Nandu : no you are locked with me till u get transferred to borders , so bare me .

Manik : what if I'm not transferred for two to three years ???

Nandu : I'm gonna stay with you bcoz last month when u left me , even I'm with everyone  still missed u , it's not I daily live with appa ,I will call him every day ,but I want to stay with you bcoz I missed you a lot . She says so cutely that manik immediately placed his lips on her kissing her , even she kissed him back .

Manik : I love you so much doctor .

Saying he slept on the berth ,

Nandu is about to lay down on the opposite berth ,manik pulled her on him, and held her by waist , she is half lying on him now .

Nandu : we booked this whole ,so we should not waste them .

Manik : I don't care , I want to sleep holding you .

Nandu : the berth is small , we will fall down .

Manik : I can never let you fall ,trust me . Saying he pulled her completely on him and held her like she is a small baby , nandu adjusted herself in his arms knowing how stubborn he is.

Finally both of them slept on the same berth bcoz manik didn't left nandu go far from him, he is sleeping peacefully and nandu is on top of him, admiring him, bcoz she woke up after sometime .

The train came to a stop after sometime , nandu woke up manik to have lunch ,they both sat together .

Manik : should I get something to eat?

Nandu : not necessary bcoz we have food packed by both mom's.

Manik : really ??

Nandu gave him another box with spoon he opened it to see yummy mutton keema biryani made by naziya .

Manik : I really love ammijaan  for making this for me , thank you doctor . He says eating it .

Nandu laughed looking at him and had her lunch , she even served him desert which is payasam made by amms .

Manik : you know if I travelled alone I could have missed all this.

Nandu : first I thought to travel alone in the same train without telling you , but ammi packed lunch and neo mom packed dinner for us , so I'm coming with u.

Manik : I should thank both my mom's for being so sensible .

Nandu : oh really ! So you mean I'm not sensible .

Manik : you know na doctor I love you loads . He says side hugging her .

They almost completed half day of journey still one more day journey to reach kashmir and start a new life at new place .

Precap : a new place for manan .....

Will nandu finds new job there ???

Will Manan be happy ???

Will nandu feel lonely there if manik goes to work ???
