All laughed looking at manik.....

Manik : how ~?? When did this happen ??? R u guys pranking on me ...

Dadu : just got a call from nirmala ji saying that nandu said yes and ......

Manik: and ....

Dadi : tomorrow you are meeting nandu again .....

Manik : but y ......

Dadi : bcoz you said you will do everything if nandu says yes .....So ....

Manik : I'm not accepting it ....

Dadi : no cheating .....

Manik : dadiii.....

Dadi : meet her manu .... Tomorrow full day you both will be together .....

Manik : full day ....And that to me ....
No I'm not  going .......

Dadu : they want you both to know each other better ....Spend some time with her ....Know her better .....May be she is the right one for you ....

Dadi : what may be ....She is only the right one ....dekha nahi how he was listening to her very patiently ....He didn't even speak a word against her..

Avni : but now see .....He is purely opposing everyone ....So it's fixed she is my devarani....No no...My cute little sister .....Yeah .....

And after dinner drop her home .....

Manik keeps a sad face ......Finally they all had dinner .......

Manik moved to his room.....And sat on the bed .....Thinking to himself ....
Why did she say yes ....I clearly said her to say no ...I didn't give her an option also ....Why is she playing with me ..... Is she really ready to marry me ..... Oh god this girl messed up my confidence .....What to do .....I should do something tomorrow such that she will say no.... yes i will make you say no ....Get ready to meet the monster in me.....But y i felt very happy when she said yes.....Yeah that gave loads of happiness .... I wanted to just go tell her even i accept her ......But no no no....manik stop thinking rubbish ....
You can't get married to her .....So tomorrow's plan is to get rejected ....

Thinking all this to himself ....He stood in the balcony ......But a call disturbed him ....He took his phone and saw its from his army friend ....He has a long talk with him and finally fell asleep .....

Nandu is sleeping peacefully in the evening ..... even kummud is sleeping in her room being tired of all the events.......

Shikar sat in the study room ....He is thinking of manik and his family ......
naziya chandra and nirmala came to study room ......To see shikar lost somewhere .....

Nirmala : shikar beta .......She calls him putting hand on his shoulder .......

Shikar comes out of his trance .....

Shikar : ha amma betho. ....

All three settle down ......

Nirmala : kya soch rahi ho beta.....

Shikar : vo about ....

Naziya : malhotras .....

Shikar nodes in yes ........

Chandra : appa ....It's for smiley i checked their background and every detail it's very clear .......Especially manik till date no girl friend ....No dating ....He doesn't even acknowledge girls ..... They are many who proposed him in college and school days but this person never gave them atleast a look ..And coming to family..Neonika ji is christian they accepted her whole heartedly as we already saw they value her words more ......Even neil had a love marriage .......We can also see how much manik loves his brother daughter ......

Shikar : i know that but.......

Nirmala : than what are you thinking say .....

Shikar: i think I have no problem with manik or his family .....But he is a military person......He won't be all the time with my baby. .....

Nirmala : shikar.....Being together means not always being beside each other .....No matter how far we are there has to be an understanding and bonding between them.....There are many military people in india.....Who are married who has kids also ....It depends on the wife and also husband. .....

Naziya : shikar ....Even we are far from each other for nearly 3 years when chandra was born bcoz due to business expansion ....But when nandu was born you never left home....Bcoz it's the love of your daughter which made you stop .....So you tell me are we far from each other .... No right ....

Nirmala : we all can say onething shikar ....Like your daughter says final desicion is always  yours .....

Shikar : if that makes my baby happy it's a yes. ....

All three together .....What ?????

Shikar : bcoz when she said about manik i saw happiness in my baby eyes .....Even manik told her to reject ....

Nirmala : reject ....????.

Shikar : yes he asked her to reject bcoz he don't want her to be sad or cry ...if he is thinking of my baby happiness ......Than i can give her to him...He will keep her happy....

Naziya: that's a good news .....What did nandu say .....

Chandra: she always says appa desicion is final .....

Nirmala : so should I inform them ....

Than nirmala called rajat .....

On call ......They keep it on speaker ....

Nirmala : hello .....rajat ji....

Rajat: namaste nirmala ji .....boliye

Nirmala : humari taraf se ha hae....

Rajat : sach.....Reema jaldi aoooo .....
Kush kabri ....He shouts the  other side ......

Rajat : thank you nirmala ji. .....

Nirmala : Hume milkar sab kuch decide karna padaga .....

Rajat : ji jaroor milenge .... Tomorrow is saturday ....This Sunday dinner in our home ...Bcoz we saw how you people live ....So now plzz come home ....

Nirmala : we will come ....But ....

Rajat: kya hua nirmala ji ....

Nirmala : i think kids should meet personally than in front of us.....

Rajat: if you don't mind i will arrange everything in our resort to meet
They can spend the day ......

Nirmala : it's a good idea ..And they  can know each other ....

Rajat : ok ji ....Tomorrow morning manik will come and pick up nandu ....

Nirmala : it's ok she will come you give us the address ....

Rajat: no no....She is going to be our daughter ....We can't let her go alone ...
You ask her to be ready manik will pick her up and even drop back...He should do that nirmala ji ...She will be his responsibility ....

Nirmala : ok thank you ji ....

Rajat : ok .....Don't say thank you ji we are going to be samdhi....

Nirmala : ok ji ...Let's meet later ...

Rajat : we will be waiting to recieve  you all .....

Like this they spoke  for sometime and cut the call .....After cutting the call .....

Nirmala : they are very happy ....

Shikar : i hope nandu will be happy with them .....

Nirmala : ofcourse she will ....So tell your baby to get ready morning ......

Shikar : ok i will .....

Naziya : beta ....Go call kummud it's dinner time ......chandra nodes in yes and leaves to call kummud .......

Nirmala : shikar ...You go call your ladli....

Shikar smiles listening to his mother and moves to nandu room ......Even naziya nirmala move to dinning room to arrange dinner ......

In nandini room.....

Shikar knocks the door .....And goes in...He finds nandu sitting on the bed with phone and talking to someone ...
On seeing shikar she cuts the call and  smiles looking at him ....

Shikar sits on the bed beside her....

Shikar holds her hands .....And looks at her ......

Nandu : kya hua appa .....

Shikar : his name is manik malhotra...

Nandu looks at shikar in shock .....So you accepted him ....

Shikar nodes in yes .....

Nandu : r u sure appa .....

Shikar : I'm sure at the cost of my daughters smile.....r u ok with him....

Nandu : if you select something for me it will always be the best.....

Shikar : tomorrow is your outing with him for a day ....Try to know him....I know there are several people out there... who are happy by doing arranged marriage .....By meeting twice or thrice ....Even yours will be like that ....But I want you to know him ......Better ......

Nandu : ok appa as you say I will meet him and also know him....

Shikar: come let's go for dinner .....

Than both nandu and shikar moved down to have dinner......After that everyone left to their rooms to sleep .....

As nandu slept the whole evening she sat on the swing in balcony .....And is looking at stars ......

Nandu in mind ....He asked me to reject ..... But appa selected him ....
.Will he be angry ....Or will he think I'm mad .....Is he willing to marry me or is he forced .....But I can never say no to appa ....But I should spend a day with him ....What will i talk to him..... What will he talk to me ..... How will I be with him the whole day.....I can't even talk with new people .....Yah allah ...y me .....He is the first boy with whom I'm going out except appa and bhai ....That too alone ...Even mukti won't be with me ....Should I call her with me ....No appa said to go alone ....
Oh god what to do ?????What would he think of me......But he is a nice person .....I scolded him a lot but he didn't say anything .......And even asked me not to say sorry.....He said he met many girls ....But he is the first boy I'm meeting....Will i be able to talk to him.......Kya karu main ???? I hope everything goes well .......

Thinking all this to herself she sat in the balcony for a long time ......Finally she moved to her room and slept  thinking of the next day ......

The next day...In malhotra mansion....

As usual manik woke up early morning for his jogging and left ......He returned back to see dadi dadu sitting in the garden having morning tea .....

He moves to them......

Manik : good morning love birds .....

Dadi /dadu : good morning manu .....

He sat beside dadi ....She immediately pulled his ear .......badmaash what did you call love birds .....

Manik : oucchhh...Dadi it's hurting .....

Dadu is laughing looking at both of them....

Dadi : say sorry ....

Manik : no...Look at you both it's been so long you married ...But still the same love birds ......I have never seen such a perfect couple ....

Dadi left his ear .....No you are wrong..
We are not that perfect couple .....We faced many problems .....We crossed all the hurdles ......That's y we are like this sitting together here today ....

Manik : what troubles .....???

Dadi : we had an arranged marriage manu....My family is very big .....But rajat is the only son of his family ....
His father died in his childhood .....
Maa took care of him very well .... She gave him good values ......But my family is very big ....My mother has four brothers and a sister .....I'm the ladli of house being the first girl child. ..... But after marriage i was happy bcoz i had maa and rajat ....But after raj was born .....Maa passed away bcoz of cancer .....But we are together ....I being all alone at home with raj made situations worse .....We used to fight on petty things....Bcoz lack of communication....He used to come late and go early ....Once raj is very sick .....I tried to call him many times ....He is in a meeting .....I took raj to hospital and came late home ..... We had a fight bcoz he don't know raj is ill and .....Even i don't know factory is at stake bcoz of some workers strike ....That day your dadu raised his hand on me ....In anger i left the house ....My brothers who are my badi maa sons  are over protective for me .... They applied my divorce ..... The petition went to rajat ....He came to me ....And apologized ..... From that day we learnt that bcoz of miscommunication....My whole life would have turned upside down ..... But look at us today we are happy ....
Bcoz that day your dadu didn't bring any ego to apologize me ..... Even i didn't think of anything like he hit me or something ....Bcoz he is going through lots of strain and on not finding me in home ....He became angry ....And me instead of the staying in the same home and fighting with him left home ......We both are having equal share of  mistakes .....I promised him that day ....No matter what happens i will not leave the house and him till my last breath .......

Manik: dadii....

Dadu : Reema ....

They both called at the same time ....

Dadi: ok ok....So manu ....No matter what happens never raise your hand against your wife and remember to talk to her regularly .....Never let her down ...She will leave her whole family and come to your house trusting you with her everything.... Even if you don't give her costly  gifts it's ok... But give her respect ....Trust her ....That's what she will expect from you ..... If you can give her that ....You are getting a life time partner ...... I hope my manu is mature  enough  to think of others feelings .....

Manik just smiles listening to her and rested his head on her shoulder.. dadi smiled and kissed his forehead .....
