Try me Bitch

I knew I should rush out to get the nurse but I had to check something to make sure.

With a lot of effort I managed to push Mr.Jung's limp upper half back onto his rolling chair.

I looked out the small door window to make sure no one who was roaming the hallways were looking inside, and when I was certain we were alone I started move over the black blazer off of his right shoulder.

I swallowed hard and I pulled the V neck of his grey shirt down towards the right until I could see the damaged skin that was still recovering from the bullet.

I almost gasped when I saw the undressed wound. It was black and purple, swollen almost double the size than before, it could definitely be infected, or I may have done something wrong in the process of dislodging the bullet.

I groaned in frustration realizing I was responsible for such an ugly bruise. I've seen wounds like that heal, and they certainly aren't supposed to get worse.

"I screwed you up good." I told him and in response his eyelashes fluttered. Now I had to call the school nurse to fix him up. I silently prayed she could help him, because for some reason he'd rather die than go to the hospital.

This could be bad, and I was supposed to be meeting Ryan in the next two hours.

After I called the nurse I tried waking him up. I've seen a lot of doctor shows on Tv, so I'm certain that he passed out from the unbearable pain.

His eye leashes fluttered just a bit again, and then the nurse came in and gasped when she saw him.

"Oh my, it's great you called me when you did hun! I'll take over from here." She told me unpacking her supplies.

I nodded but I didn't move. I had nothing better to do. It just burned me inside to see such a strong person suffering this much.

He's human after all.

I couldn't believe how well he acted during class despite the fact the he had searing pain in his right arm. No one would've been able to tell.

I watched the nurse tune me out and focus on removing the sloppy stitches I had given him.

I wasn't shy looking at the other scars on his stomach and arms. There were few, but enough to keep me curious.

"And he just passed out?" The nurse voice intruded into my thoughts startling me.

"Yes ma'am. I was asking about a paper and he said he didn't feel well, and then this happened. Can you fix him?"

She gave a deep sigh. "Well it's kind of complicated. I have to make sure nothing harmful entered his bloodstream, and this wound is certainly a nasty one. He must've tried to stitch himself up himself like a DIY project or something. Whatever he used wasn't cleaned probably and that's why Betsy here looks like this."

I found it repulsive she named his bruise, but I ignored it because I started feeling a bit guilty I was the reason he was in so much pain.

"But he won't have to go the hospital right?"

She shook her bushy head "Not if everything is clean. I'm going to remove the bad skin, disinfect him and close him up. I'll let you know if he's okay in a bit. Just don't go around telling the other students he passed out, I know Mr.Jung doesn't like his name being thrown around too much."

I nodded. She was ready for me to leave, and what else could I do? To her, I was just a simple student who happened to be there when their professor passed out.

I guess I'll have to meet Ryan on my own wit.

*

I was starting to think he was standing me up. I sat in the garden tapping both feet feeling incredibly impatient.

I was just about to go when I saw a small figure in the distance running in my direction.

"Ryan?!" I called out squinting through the low light the sunset was giving off.

Now I saw him more clearly. He jogged up to where I stood, first attempting to catch his breath.

When he finally could speak he halted "Oh my gosh girl are you trying to get me caught?! Might want to try not yelling my name when I'm expelled from here?!"

I honestly couldn't care less about his well being. I wasn't here to be friends I was here to cover my own ass... and Mr. Jung's.

"Look, I know things between us have been terrible—and let me make it clear that it is your fault— but that doesn't change the fact that you were right." Just saying those words almost made me throw up in my mouth " Mr.Jung isn't a good guy and although already discussed this I know I need you to help me expose him."

Ryan looked at me quizzically for a long pause. " Why is he a bad guy all of a sudden?"

Oh shoot. I didn't think he'd be smart enough to ask... I didn't plan this part out yet.

"I found some things on his laptop I'm not willing to share with you because I don't completely trust you yet. But can you blame me?."

He rolled his eyes. "Nah you're going to have to do a little more convincing for me to be in this. For some reason I just can't believe that you changed your mind overnight and want to help me... that doesn't make remotely any sense."

My plan was starting to crumble. All I needed was the freaking recording, who knew it'd be this hard to persuade the idiot.

"Look, I don't owe you an explanation for anything." I said turning on my heels praying he'd call for me. It was a wild move, but it was the only option.

"Wait." Right as he his the "t" in wait I turned around, hopeful.

"What?" I asked non chalantly. He was going to hand over his proof and he wasn't going to get it back.

"Make sure to tell Mr.Jung that his little plan failed. I'm not giving him the one tool that can save him from being put behind bars. And this is for him." Ryan said while thrusting a white envelope in my direction.

Although I was baffled and angry he figured out I was here for the recording, I took the envelope and started walking away. It was addressed to Mr Jung, from some huge corporation.

"And Ryan? If you take Mr. Jung and  me to court, I promise I'll have every witness and victim of your sexual harassment standing up and testifying against you. Try me bitch."
