"H-how is he?" You ask as your eyes turn down, a dismal feeling overwhelms your body as his palm places itself on top of yours.
"He's fine, he just needs some time" Jungkook replies as you nod, the bell sounds causing you to jerk your hand away "I'll see you later" he smiles softly as you walk to your seat.
Jimin hadn't returned home after the incident, you know that because your father rang asking if you'd seen him, it didn't seem as though he knew about your breakdown but he sounded a little more glum than usual.
Taehyung walks into the classroom seemingly hopeful as he looks at you, he takes the seat beside you glancing around before embracing you.
"You didn't come home last night" he sighs "I- I was worried" he stutters before letting you go, "I was just, working late" you lie.
Jungkook eyes the both of you, a dark mist flowing through his eyes as he sees you interact with the younger boy. You're beginning to think that he still doesn't know the relationship between you and Tae.
The day finishes later than usual, it consisted of you doodling the whole time, a hobby your therapist recommended along with the murderous drugs she prescribed.
"I'm not depressed" you recall saying to her "that's what most people say dear" she'd ignorantly replied, you roll your eyes just at the thought.
You aren't depressed you're behaviour's just due to something else entirely, nobody knows not even Jimin, of course they wouldn't; the little girl in the corner watching the scene was likely to be ignored at the time.
But that's a story for another time.
"Y/n" a voice snaps you out of your thoughts as you look up, Jungkook looks at you with confusion painted across his features as you reciprocate his expression "you can go home now" he says.
You look around noticing the empty classroom whilst grabbing your bag, the older male chuckles "see you tomorrow miss Kim."

You hum your way home unplugging your headphones as you open the door. Creeping in, you tiptoe up the stairs reaching your room unnoticed.
"Well, what do we have here" SeokJin chuckles, you grant him a pleading look "be back at six or I'll get an earful" he warns as you smile gratefully.
Changing into some jeans and a top you stroll your way down the streets reaching the cafe, a genuine smile paints your face as you enter and inhale the aromatic smell of coffee.
"Any for me?" You grin as Lisa hands you a cup "any day" she flicks her hair as you place on your apron "finally decided to return" she giggles as you nod.
You look around glancing at the cosy shop, to you it was admirable that Lisa was always content with the cafe inherited from her grandfather although her other relatives got more.
"Why can't you be like this in school?" She questions with a scowl "like what?" You reply imitating her expression.
"More happy" she says, "Well for one there's coffee everywhere here, and you have decent music" you reply with a grin.
And it's true, for some reason just the smell helps calm your senses and it keeps you busy, because of your lack of sleep you'd often have to resort to coffee for energy, it was practically keeping you alive.
And it's not like you don't want to sleep, you can't possibly fall into that trap without your situation becoming worse.
"Half of the customers we have are because of you" she groans "even the girls, when's my prince charming going to walk in huh?" She whines.
On that note the door swings open and a familiar blonde boy walks in, adorned in a white top and skinny jeans your brother grins at you, you let out a chuckle "it's fate Lisa" you tease.
The younger male walks up to the till giving the two of you a charming smile "one black coffee please" he orders before waiting in a booth.
"I like watching you smile" was his excuse when you'd ask why he'd visit the cafe, something tells you otherwise.
"Not funny y/n" she grumbles "I bet yours will walk in next" she winks whilst grabbing a tray.
The door swings open as Lisa stares in anticipation "mr Jeon?" She almost yells, but he isn't alone, there's a tall brunette woman accompanying him.
Her sharp eyes pierce into yours as she glares for some reason unknown to you "oh, good afternoon girls" he greets as Lisa replies.
"I'll go check on the radio, it's taking ages to start" you excuse yourself whilst wandering into the room "stay right here" you hear a voice say as you turn on your heel "on second thought you know how to work it better" you smile and she gives you a confused look whilst walking in.
"Downgrade to be seeing you work at a place like this" the woman continues as Jungkook glances between the two of you, you smirk recalling who she is "I'm sorry, it was my fault you tried to seduce my father wasn't it" you scoff.
"I suggest you order and take a seat, Sam was it?, maybe that was the other one" you smirk "I'm sure that workplace of yours would enjoy a reference from me, don't you?"
"Nothing's lower than this" she snarls "I beg to differ" you say whilst looking at her head to toe, she lets out a growl as you look at your nails.
"Causing a scene will get you kicked out again" "let's go" she yells at Jungkook who remains rooted in his position "go wait in the booth I'll be there in a second" he says and she huffs whilst leaving.
"Why are you like this?" He questions whilst running a hand through his hair frustratedly "I'm sorry but I'm not wrong" you shrug "yes but you don't have to be so" "crazy about it?" You raise a brow.
He grits his teeth in annoyance as you chuckle, leaning on the counter placing your chin on your palms whilst looking at him mockingly; you scoff a little at the anger running through his features "bite me" you tease whilst running a hand through your hair.
A fire settles into his eyes as he comes closer towards you mimicking your posture until his lips are merely inches away from your ear,
"I've already done that"
