"Mr. Evans?" I hestitantly asked. The man in question looked up at me.
"Yes ms. (Y/l/n)?" He asked. I swallowed the lump in my throat. It was stupid I knew but I had a huge ass crush on my English teacher.
"I...I won't be in class for the next few days and I was wondering if I could get the work that is be missing." I said. He nodded.
"Yeah. Can I ask why you won't be in class?" He asked as he turned around to grab some papers out of a drawer.
"I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out." I answered and bit my lip.
"Ouch." He said as he handed me the stack of papers. "Sounds like fun. If you need any help with that just shoot me an email." Mr. Evans said.
"Thanks. Actually I might not even be able to do this. I don't know. Is...is having wisdom teeth taken or painful?" I asked, my blue eyes finally meeting the greenish ones of my teacher crush.
"Depends. If they hurt now then yeah it'll hurt." He said as he leaned back in his chair and took off his glasses. "If they don't then you should be ok." I nodded my eyes wide.
"Great." I said.
"Don't worry (y/n). I'm sure you'll be fine." Mr. Evans said. He stood up and placed his hands on my arms. "Look, considering the fact that you are gonna be out for a while I'll see if I can come over and "tutor" you on the material." He said with emphasis on tutor. "How bout that?"
"Everyday? Or like a couple days or what?" I asked.
"Whichever you want." He answered.
"Everyday please. I only have my brother and that's just for a few days." I answered. Mr. Evans nodded.
"Alright. I see you later then. Everything will be fine (y/n). And I'll be there the day after you get out." He said with a smile.
"Thank you." I said. "You have no idea how at ease this makes me feel." I realized how that sounded. "Having someone there to help me out besides my brother." I tried to clarify. Mr. Evans smiled.
"I get it. And no problem." He said as he walked me out of his classroom.
