2 years later,

Closing the door behind him and holding a blazer in one hand and in other hand phone he walks through the corridor. He stops and takes his shoes off he walks straight to living hall finding usual quiet.

He knows his family went on small vacation last week and won't be returning till end another week. He roams his eyes around the mansion to locate his wife but not finding her presence he sighs and starts walking to kitchen.

He fills a glass up water and gulps it in one go. He leave the glass in a sink and walks out of kitchen.

Holding his blazer in one hand and with other hand dialling his friend number who had called him earlier but wasn't able to answer as he was busy with work.

The call went unanswered and Neil sighs shoving his phone back into his pocket climbs the stairs to his room.

He pushed the door and enters inside to find darkness in the room. He roams his hand and finding the switch turns the lights on only to get surprised seeing the room decorated with the candles and roses Patels.

He frowns and tries to think what could he have missed and does not remember. It wasn't his or her birthday, neither their wedding anniversary.

He roams his eyes to find his wife but was able to find her. He knew she wasn't in the washroom as the lights were off. He sighs and walking inside after closing the door behind him moves to couch placing his blazer.

He thought to check balcony if his wife would be there. He also felt little angry knowing she wasn't resting not playing games with him when she isn't well.

He had been noticing since their family went to vacation she started to feel tried and pale. He told many times to visit doctor but refused it saying she will be alright.

As he walks to balcony door he stops in middle when his eyes fell on the bed where he found bouquet of flowers and note attached to it.

" hi Neil. I know you might be so angry on me ignoring your words and doing all this but what can I do. I need to make it special for you. No you haven't forgotten our special day but we can definitely add this day to our special celebration Neil. Hang on Neil, I won't spoil my plan just like this. As you see the room decorated and I want to walk ahead into washroom and take warm shower. I want you to relax and be ease Neil. After showering I have small surprise for you in garden. Meet me there. I'll be waiting for you. I love you Neil.

The note ended with such a sweet messages. He kissed the note and picking the bouquet flowers smiles smelling the flower. He keeps the flowers back on bed and following his wife words starts walking to washroom.

He pushed the door and enters inside only to gasp seeing the washroom decorated too with roses Patels and candles. He walks inside closing the door and stood in middle adoring the whole decoration and wondered what could the surprise be.

He chuckled his thoughts away and undressing himself steps inside the bathtub that was arranged by his wife. He closed his eyes feeling so pleased and relaxed.

He steps out of the bathtub and pulling a towel wraps it around his waist and walks out of washroom. He moves to closet and shuffled around it when his eyes falls on a packet wrapped up.

He took the packet and opens to find a new white shirt and black trousers. He smiles and walking towards bed starts to get ready.

He quickly got ready and ruffling his hair and grabbing his phone headed out of the room to find his wife in the garden.

He walks into a garden and calls her name out when he was able to find her. He finally stops at one side of the garden and looks at his wife who stood in middle back facing him wearing a saree.

He starts making his way towards her and calls her name out when he got closer. His breath got stuck when she turns around looking so beautiful dressed in purple saree.

He gulps his saliva and stares his wife who smiles and made her way to him. she stood so close to him and softly calls his name out breaking his thoughts away.

Neil : baby. How do you manage to make my heart fall for you? I feel my heart bursting out with joy and love. How can I thank you for everything baby? I should be angry on you but I can't. I can't be angry on you because you know how to melt my anger baby. What should I do with you? What is all these? I'm trying to think if I have forgotten something? Have I?

Her eyes starts brims with fresh tears but she holds onto tears and reaching to his hands interlocked their hands and looks at him with a bright smile playing on her lips.

Avni : I'll tell you Neil everything but first let's have dinner. I know you must be hungry.

She then too him to other end where she arranged dinner for them. She pulls the chair just like he always does for her and gestures him to sit.

He sits down and looks at his wife who rushed back to her seat and sat down pouring some drinks into their glasses.

They chatted along with completing their dinner. Neil wipes his mouth with a tissue and looks at her.

Neil : what's the surprise baby. I can't wait any longer. Tell me.

Avni smirks and stood up moving away while Neil also got up and holding her wrist pulls her back into his chest. He cups her face and brushed his thumb against her cheek and tucking her hair strands back.

Neil : did I ever mention how stunting you look baby? I feel like peeling this off from your body. Don't make it hard for me baby.

She blushed at his words and rolling her eyes at him comes out of his hold and went to get something and returns back to Neil handing him the little box who took while being so confused.

Neil : what's is this baby? It's not even my birthday. Why this gift? I'm not understanding anything.

Neil looks so confused when he noticed a drop of tears rolling down her cheeks. He immediately got closer and cupping her face wipes the tears off.

Neil : baby, why are you crying? Did I said something wrong? I'm sorry if I shouldn't be reacting this way. I don't know understand. Please tell me.

Her eyes filled with tears as she watched him getting panicked and was not able to hold herself. She took a deep breath and holding his wrist she steps away and placed his hand on her stomach making him shock and his eyes widen as the realisation hits him.

His eyes widened and shock as he took his time to register what was happening. His eyes didn't leave his hand where it was placed on her stomach. His eyes tears up as he looks at his wife who nodded her head confirming his question.

He drops on his knees and his eyes fall on the box that was placed on the table. He glanced at her before picking the box up and quickly unwraps it only to gasp seeing the pregnancy test stating two lines showing positive of the test.

The test falls from his hand and his eyes went to his wife who burst into tears seeing his reaction. He composed himself and glancing to her stomach and placing his hand on her stomach he leans forwards and whispers softly.

Neil : I can't believe it baby. Our little love is growing  inside. I'm going to be a father. We are going to be parents baby.

He caressed her stomach then dropping a gentle kiss on her stomach he stood up cupping her face and kissed her forehead.

Neil : how? When did you find out? When did you go to doctor?

Avni : I wasn't feeling well before our family went to vacation. I thought it could be due to tiredness so I ignored visiting doctor but pats fews days the sickness got worser and I couldn't understand why this was happening with me. I was still not going to doctor when Anushka forcefully told me to go unless she will call you. I didn't wanted her to do that so I convinced her and went to doctor that same evening and took the test. I was scared and worried about your reaction when I find out, I was pregnant. I was planning how to tell you this news.

Neil was in tears listening to her. He couldn't help himself but embrace his wife into his arms and pecks her head gently.

They stayed hugging each other a little longer. Neil broke the hug and cupping her face kissed her forehead.

Neil : thank you so much baby. You have given the biggest news of my life. Thank you so much baby. We are going to be parents.

She smiles and leans to side hug him. He wraps his arm around her shoulder and tucks her hair back. They stood there for while taking the news in.

Neil pulls away and once again puts his hands around back of her head before pulling closer before crashing his lips against hers.  She tiptoes and matched up with his passion kissing him back with same passion as him.

They broke the kiss after being breathless. He looks at her before scooping her into his arms and walking inside the mansion. With his foot he pushed his room door and made his way straight to bed and gently placed her on bed.

He dimes the light hovering over her body he looks at her before smashing his lips against hers once again. His hands trails around her upper body as he kissed her.

It was another night where they become souls. They loved each other. Neil laid beside her pulling her to his arms with his arms secured around her stomach. His fingers gently rubbed against her stomach making her heart warm at his antics.

He looks at her who had fallen asleep after their love making. He pecks forehead and covering themselves he closed his eyes and slept.

It's been almost two weeks since they find about Avni's pregnancy. Their family also returned back from vacation and got the news. The whole family blessed the couple and would take care of Avni's health.

It was another day where Neil went to office while Avni was told to rest at home to which she was not liking it. She hated being at home. She was bored and didn't have much to do anything apart from eating and sleeping.

Her sickness had gone worser than usual but the whole family had been supportive and caring especially Neil. He would hardly sleep in night. Every night she could crave to eat something weird and Neil would be up to fulfil her carvings.

He's the bestest husband any girl could dream of. Her chains thoughts were broken when her phone starts ringing. Stretching her hand she got hold of the phone and her face lighten ups seeing the caller id. She answered the call and leans back against the headboard with a smile playing on her lips.

Avni : hello Neil.

Neil : hello baby? How are you both doing?

Avni : we are doing great. I'm missing you so much Neil. Please come back home soon. I'm getting bored. I don't like being home alone by myself.

Neil : my baby! I have called to inform you something.

Avni : what is it Neil? Are you coming home?

Neil : I suppose so baby. I'm on my way to come but I have planned something for you. I heard you have been complaining about you being bored at home so I thought of taking you out today. I have finished my work and heading to home. While I get home, baby you should get ready. I'll pick you up.

Avni : really? We are going out. Where are  we going Neil? Please tell me Neil.

Neil chuckles hearing her excited voice about the plan.

Neil : I won't spoil the plan baby by telling you right now. Please go and get ready. I should be reaching home soon.

Neil ended the call leaving Avni all excited and happy about them going out in evening. She leaves the phone and rushed to washroom to freshen up.

She got ready in most comfortable attire not knowing where they would be going but also she felt dressing up like this. She took her phone and walks out of the room.

Arriving at living room she already found Neil seated there and drinking water while talking to swetha and Neela.

Neil stops drinking and looks at his wife with a smile who returns the smile before walking towards him. He got up placing the glass and looks at his mother's before grabbing his wife hand.

Neil : mom! We will be late. Please don't wait for us.

Swetha nodded and smiles at them. Neil bidding both of them made his way and opening the car door gestures her to get inside the car.

The whole ride with Avni chatting or more like complaining to Neil whereas he quietly listening and kept nodding his head as required.

Neil's plan to get have dinner and stroll around beach with her making her feel better. After having dinner in a restaurant they both were on beach and
Walking in hand to hand with them talking.

They were waking when Avni spotted kulfi man selling kulfi. She looks at Neil calling his name out.

Neil : no baby! You can't. You will catch cold.

Avni : no Neil! Please.. please just one.

Neil sighs and after a lot of pleading he nodding his head making her scream. They both moves to kulfi man and brought their flavours.

She relished the kulfi and loving the cold breeze hitting her face. Neil back hugs her and placed a kiss on neck.

Neil : I love you baby so much. Thank you for everything.

Avni : I love you to Neil. Thank you for everything too.

He broke the hug and comes to front before lowering on his knees and kissing her stomach and softly mumbles.

Neil : I love you too my little baby. I can't to see you coming into our lives.

He smiles and stood up pulling her in his arms as they stood by the sea and watched the waves together and promising each other to stay forever.
