Her eyes widen open and covering her mouth, she yawns looking at Neil who slept hugging her close to his heart. Her heart rested on his heart as she could hear his heartbeat. Pecking his cheek, she unwraps his arms from her waist and slowly slips away from his grip getting down the bed.

Looking at the time she gasped and rushed into washroom. Coming out washroom, she comes out wearing Neil's shirt.

Walking by the dressing table she glanced herself in the mirror and thought about something what wouldn't leave her mind. She was so engrossed in her deep thoughts didn't notice when he woke up and comes standing behind her.

He circles his one hand around her waist and placing his head on her shoulder rubs his eyes cutely. Feeling his cold hand on her waist, she snaps her head up looking at him through the mirror.

Their eyes met up. She smiles seeing how adorable he looks at the moment. Her hand raised up and starts ruffling his hair while he dips his face on rut shoulder. Her breath hitched up feeling his lips against her skins.

Her eyes gazed looking  at him and her heart flutters seeing how he was adoring kisses on het shoulder. She held his shirt in her fist and leans back on his shoulder.

Her voice softly whispers his name to which he lifts his face up and looks at her with a smirk playing on his lip.

Avni : Neil.

Neil: what happened baby? I haven't done anything.

She slaps his elbow and pushing him rushed outside of the room not realising she was just wearing his shirt. Neil chuckles and ruffling his head went to washroom.

Closing the door behind, she leans back against the door and closed her eyes. Her heart was pounding faster as she placed her hand on her heart and recalls his words. His touch definitely had some effect on her body. Her body fires up whenever they get close.

Her cheeks heats up. Composing herself she looks at the time and headed to washroom.

Neil talking over the phone comes and noticed his family sitting in living hall and chatting. He frowns not finding his girl and Neela there, nevertheless he walks towards them and greets them.

Neil : good morning.

He ends the call and sat next to Bebe who smiles at him and greeting him back.

Bebe : good morning Neil. You okay?

Neil nodded his head and his eyes went straight up the stairs hoping he would see them. Bebe noticed his gaze and smirks.

Bebe : Neil! What are you thinking? You look lost. Are you alright?

Neil snaps his head looking at Bebe and found her smirking.

Neil : yes Bebe! I'm alright. What would happen to me?

Bebe : is that so! Then why do you keep looking over there? What are you looking for?

Neil : ah! Nowhere. I wasn't looking for anyone Bebe.

Bebe chuckles while Prakash also paid his attention at them.

Bebe : the one you're looking for is in backyard with Neela. You can go there. We won't stop you.

Neil sheepishly smiles and gets up moving to backyard. He could hear the giggles as he walked out from there.

He shook his head and found Avni sitting with Neela on a beach in backyard. He couldn't hear what they were talking about him but he could figure out they were in deep conversation as Avni paid attention on what Neela was saying.

Neil sighs and turns back to leave when he heard Neela calling his name. He turns around and looks at her who gestures him to come. Neil smiles at her and starts walking towards them.

Neil : Morning you both. Why you both sitting here? Come inside.

He was nervous speaking as this time first time, he was having conversations with Neela. His body tensed up.

Neela smiles and noticed his nervousness.

Neela : Neil! You don't be nervous around me. I won't kill you or say anything. Come sit with us.

Neil looks at them and looked away avoiding his nervousness.

Neil : I'll leave. I'm sorry disturbing you both.

He turns to leave but stopped again when he heard Avni's voice he turns around looking  at her.

Avni : Neil! Please sit with us. Maa wants to talk to you.

Neil taking a deep breath looks at Avni then at Neela who give assuring smile. He nodded his head and sat beside Avni who made some space for him. 

Neela looks at them and she took Avni's hand in hers and looks at Neil taking his and placing on theirs.

Neela : Neil. I want you to promise me something. Will you do something for me? Please don't say no.

Neil looked so confused but nevertheless he nodded his head looking at Neela.

Neela : Neil.. I don't know what might happened after Ashish death, and how my daughter survived with them. I'm thankful to you and your family for taking care of her. She didn't deserves it those pains Neil. In those past two weeks I have noticed and seen how vulnerable and broken she is. Neil only i am asking from you is not to leave her. Please don't give up on her. I have known her since a child. She can be stubborn and won't think about herself but for others. She knows she is wrong but won't accept it. Just take examples of yourself, she knew what she was doing was wrong but she willing to leave you because she thought her decision would be betterment for you.. I want you both stay together. This is what I want from you. Promise you will keep her happy and never leave her.

Neil's eyes gleams with tears. He held his tears back and nodded his head and promising himself to love her forever. He won't let her go even if she wishes to leave. He will fight for them.

Neil : auntie.. I promise you. I won't let her go. She won't be able to leave because she captured in my heart. No one can separate us. You have my words auntie. No one will get to hurt her. I'll be there with her in every steps of her life. I'll be there right behind her supporting her whatever she does. I won't let her fall back. She will have me there.

Neela smiles hearing his words through the tears brimming. She wipes her tears and felt so proud of Neil. She feeling so connected with him.

Neela : thank you so much Neil. I would never forget what you have done to me. And one more thing. Please call me maa or whatever you like just like Avni does. You're like my son to me.

He smiles and nodded his head. He then looks at Avni who had tears in her eyes. He placed his arm around her shoulder and side hugs her.

Neela stand up and excusing herself giving them privacy. He pecks forehead and looks at her wiping her tears off.

Neil : why are you crying? You're such a crybaby.

She hits his shoulder and distance herself from glaring him. Neil chuckles and pulls her closer into his arms.

Neil : your fake anger won't work on me baby. You do understand that. Can I ask you something?

She nods her head playing with his fingers that she interlocked with hers.

Neil : what were you and Neela talking before i interrupted you guys?

She stops fiddling with his fingers and looks at him.

Avni : she wasn't talking but scolding me about my behaviour. She didn't like the way I pushed you away. She was scolding me how I hurt her son feelings. She is already on your side. I don't know what magic have you done on her. I can't understand when did she get close to you. She even considered you as her son, not that I'm angry. I love seeing the bond between you both but I feel like maa will love you more than me. I hate to admit you will steal my mother. I hate you for that.

Neil chuckles and flicks his finger on her forehead then placed a soft kiss.

Neil : are you jealous baby? Are you scared that she will love me than me? You shouldn't be afraid baby because you did the same. Do you remember how you had my parents on your side? Now is my turn. I'll enjoy this moment baby. I really going to enjoy seeing you jealous.

She slaps his shoulder and pushing him gets yo and ran inside the room shouting on Neil to which he shook his head seeing her childish antics.

Neil took his phone out and looks at the message. His smiles faded away and sighs shutting his phone.

Holding his phone he walks inside and would everyone sitting on dinning table. He walks there and winks at Avni sitting opposite her. She blushed and looks down making him stifled a giggle.

Everyone starts having breakfast when Prakash said something making everyone look at him.

Neil : dad! Is this right time? I mean. Avni is still in college?

Prakash : why not? You guys should decide what do you? What do you think Neela ji? Am I saying right or not?

Neela looks at Prakash and thought.

Neela : I have no problem long as children they are happy and ready. I really want to see them happy.

Bebe : it would be great Neil. Think about it. They tie no need to rush. You would marry in few months or years later. You have think about that. You guys van decided. Prakash is also right. Avni beta, we won't force you but do think about it.

Avni looks at Bebe and simply nodded her head. She didn't knew what to say so she stayed quiet and listened to elders who looked happy and excited about their marriage topic.

She even glanced at Neil in between and found him lost in deep thoughts. She wondered what was he thinking.  She look down as he looks at her.

Avni ( mind) am I ready for the marriage?

Neil also looks at her and thought the same.

Neil ( mind) am I ready for the marriage? Do I want this happen?

He looks at Avni who was looking down playing with her spoon. He sighs and chucked his thoughts away.
