Hamato Donatello had a clear goal in his mind. 

In his list, though protested heavily by Leo and his other two brothers, the purple genius scribbled the ultimate plan to woo back Dianne:

1. Go to Casey Junior's house

2. Speak to Dianne

3. Apologise as your soul depends on it because it totally does says EVERYONE EVER

4. DO NOT under any circumstance use BIG BRAIN WORD nor exponentially go down a scientific explanation on how hormones and brain enzymes have messed up my logical thought process.

5. Bring Dianne on a really, really romantic date

6. All goes back to normal

The goggles over Donnie's eyes had placed two perfect circles over them, "AHA!" he exclaimed. He roughly shoved the list into Leo's face, making the blue twin groan, "I don't see why you had to go through this 30 times! D, I'm sure you'll do just fine."

However, it did not calm the genius. 

Mikey sighed, "Donald, I think you just need to be natural about it. I'm sure she'll understand."

"NO no. It has to be perfect! I need to make sure that I don't ruin this." Desperation in Donatello's voice rang clear. It just added to his frustration so he took it out on his plush purple carpet by walking in it in circles until a clear purple trail was left. 

Having enough of Donnie's stubbornness, Raph caught his younger brother by the rim of his battle shell and forced him into a chair. Donnie was about to retort but was quickly subdued as Raph massaged the softshell around the neck. "Now listen. I know your big brain is capable of solving problems and we all know that you're amazing Dee, but right now, you need to speak from your heart. Not just your brain."

The biggest brother spun the chair around to face the softshell. Donnie looked confused, still Raph's heart melted for the younger. "Raph knows that Raph has not loved someone yet, but Raph knows that love cannot just be all brains or brawns. Love must be from your heart and soul, Donnie."

"Scoff! What does that mean?" the purple one countered.

"That means, be genuine. Donnie, I love ya bud, so now please listen to me when I say, don't add science or logic into this. Love can't be explained by science or logic. It's logical and also illogical."

One brow was raised upon the purple turtle's head. He pretended to understand that so Raph let him go, not before patting Donnie's shoulder reassuringly. With a group hug, the three brothers watched their genius hurry off to save his love. 

This Once Upon a Dream of Donnie and Dianne might just come true.
