If Jacob was Fiona's grandson
- After years on living the same day over and over again, Fiona gets restless
- She wants to try once more to live in the outside world
- Hugh especially is very sad she's leaving, but she promises to visit often
- She leaves on September 4, 1940
- Before she really gets to live in the outside world, she's passed around several loops
- After several decades she ends up in America with no loop in the 1950s
- She is now physically in her twenties
- She writes the others back at Cairnholm constantly
- She becomes a gardener and eventually a florist
- One day, a man came in
- He was kind, handsome, compassionate, and had a big heart
- He fell for her instanty; she resisted a little at first, only because dating someone else felt like cheating on Hugh
- The man keeps coming into the store and striking up conversation
- Even though she didn't talk much, they had deep and intelligent conversations
- He started to grow on her and she anticipated his arrival at the shop in the morning, and dreaded his leaving at the end of the day
- Then, one day, he didn't come at all
- She figured he might be sick, so she continued waiting
- She waited for years but he never came back
- She felt used, objectified, and weary
- She scolded herself for ever leaving the loop
- Now she and Hugh couldn't be together; she was in her thirties and he was still a teenager
- When she closes shop one day, there's a letter waiting for her at home
- It was from the Cairnholm loop
- She sobbed as she read it
- She determined that she must return to the island forever
- The outside world had left her empty and feeling cheated
- So she sells the store and takes a one-way trip to England
- She returns to the Cairnholm loop
- Everyone is excited to see her
- But they feel sorry for her
- She helped Miss Peregrine care for the children
- Her and Hugh rekindle their friendship, though they could never rekindle their love
- Hugh is very depressed
- Fiona never mentions the man she fell in love with
- It's just too painful
- She really loved him
- Then one day, when it was 1970 in the present, the loop got an unexpected visitor
- Miss Peregrine called Fiona to her study
- Sitting on a chair, wearing an American army uniform, was the man Fiona had fallen in love with
- He told her he was sorry; he was drafted without warning; he loved her very much
- Fiona was skeptical
- He pressed his forehead against hers and her mind became flooded with his thoughts, feelings, and memories
- She now believed him
- They stayed for dinner, then left in a quite celebratory manner
- On their way to the mainland, he told her he'd bought her shop back from the people who'd bought it from her
- For the first time, he asked her out on a date
- She said yes
- That night they stayed at a hotel
- The next day he showered her with love, gifts, and constant apology for the heartache he'd caused her
- They capped it all off with a romantic dinner at a nice restaurant
- They flew back to America a few days later
- Fiona was happy to see her shop again
- She realized she had no apartment anymore
- Her lover gave her the keys to his apartment, suggesting they live together
- She says yes
- They take a detour
- To a park
- It was a beautiful park
- He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring
- She said yes
- And cried
- Two years after their wedding, Fiona got pregnant
- The pair were excited as they'd ever been
- They had three normal children total
- Fiona simply loved being a mother
- Her husband simply loved being a father
- Their children grew up to be very kind and sensitive
- Their youngest, their son, marries a wealthy woman
- Several years later, Jacob is born
- As a little boy, Jacob was very interested in botany
- He spent much of his time in his grandparents' flower shop
- Fiona told him stories about the Cairnholm loop while they worked
- They were quite real to him
- But eventually he starts dismissing them for fairytales
- He visited the flower shop less and less
- He didn't lose interest in plants, though
- He kept his own garden
- He didn't really understand how he had such a green thumb as an 8 year old
- He kept tending to the plants anyway
- Then when he's sixteen, he gets a weird frantic call from his grandmother Fiona
- He goes to her house to check it out
- He finds her in the woods, mangled, on the cusp of death
- She tells him to find the loop
- At first he dismisses it
- But then he finds a letter in a book in Fiona's study
- He asks his parents if he can go to the island
- His father says yes, on account of the birds on the island
- They go to Cairnholm
- He is seriously disappointed
- He finds the house, dead, broken, abandoned
- He explores it
- He almost falls through the floor, but a vine catches him
- Literally; it wrapped itself around his waist and brought him to the part of the floor that was sturdy
- He was very confused by this, but moved on
- A bee buzzes around his head
- He tries to swat at it, but it wouldn't go away
- Since it wasn't making any attempt to hurt him, he allowed it to buzz around his head
- It landed on his shoulder
- He squashed it because reflexes
- A few minutes later, another bee shows up
- Then another
- Then another
- Then he finds Hugh
- He's standing in the doorway of the house
- He runs away
- Jacob chases after him
- He finds the loop
- The others are sad because Fiona died
- Especially Hugh
- He is very depressed
- Some part of him had thought maybe he and Fiona could be together at some point, but now they couldn't
- He tries to hang himself
- Jacob finds him
- He saves his life
- Hugh has mixed feelings about this
- Jacob tells Miss Peregrine
- She tells everyone to keep an eye on him, though she doesn't say why
- They would panic
- When Abe finds out there's a hollow and a wight, the peculiars lock up tight
- Hugh tries to be alone, but Miss Peregrine's warning to the others and the fact that no one was allowed outside make this difficult
- He decides he wants to surrender himself to the hollow
- He sneaks out
- Jacob, Abe, and Emma chase after him
- They chase him outside the loop
- Abe sees a hollow going right towards Hugh
- He screams for him to run
- Hugh just kinda stands there
- Basically Abe goes and kills it and Hugh is pissed
- Jacob, Emma, and Abe decide they need to tell the others about Hugh
- When they get back to the loop they find it has been raided
- Miss Peregrine is gone
- The other children were locked in the basement
- The wight had even managed to get Millard in there
- They try to get their ymbryne back
- They get her back, but she is injured
- The loop has now been broken
- They gather at the burning house to decide what to do
- Jacob tells everyone how Hugh attempted suicide twice so everyone needs to keep an eye on him
- Hugh corrects this by saying they need to help Miss Peregrine and they need stop the wights
- He says he won't try again
- At least not for a while
- Jacob doesn't really believe this, though he keeps this to himself
- They take boats to the mainland
- They spent the night in the woods
- Claire gets sick
- They find the Menangerie
- Someone needs to stay behind with Claire
- Hugh offers to do it
- A few of them say that would be okay
- Then Millard makes an excellent point: "Yeah. Let's leave the suicidal person on the edge of a cliff. Cause that's a good idea"
- Jacob then says he'll stay
- The rest leave and Claire, Jacob, and the rest have a nice couple of days
- Jacob tests his limits by growing a few trees and vines from the forest below
- He grows them right to the cliff
- He often wonders what the others are doing at that particular moment
- Then the wights raided that loop
- He managed to hide himself, Claire, and some of the peculiar animals
- He makes the trees fight
- But it's not enough
- The wights capture them and kill the animals
- Him and Claire are reunited with the others except Emma and Abe
- They find out that Hugh has died
- He was shot by the wights just a day after they left Jacob and Claire
- He had been trying to save them by stinging the wights with his bees
- In the end, the bees killed them, but they managed to shoot Hugh clear through the heart before they died
- Abe and Emma find them
- They all manage to kill their way to the bridge and the weird green river
- The whole Abaton thing happens, but instead of Jacob going into the Library, it's Abe
- Yeah basically the rest of the story happens exactly the same
So I'm doing Olive next; this should be kinda difficult, but I'll do it!
Don't forget to leave suggestions of who to do next; although after Olive I'm already doing Enoch, but basically suggest who you want me to do after Enoch
Yeah
Bye!
