Dawn on the first day of summer... More kids playing outside and more grandmas planting flowers, except for Branch and his grandma.

Branch stole his grandma's cupcakes the other day, even though the cupcakes are for him.

He really wanted to go outside, he wanted to play with his friend, Creek.

Grandma Rosiepuff was sleeping on the couch. Oh grandmas, they are always lazy.

Branch had a plan. First, he would get all the other cupcakes out of the fridge. Next, he would run away out of the pod. Then, he would find Creek. Finally, he would go to the forest with Creek. They would stay there till the night.

So, then he did the plan. It was all great... until Creek peed in his pants while running to the forest.

"What the?" said Branch. "Did you literally just pee?"

"Uh... ye-yeah." mumbled Creek.

"I have an extra short. Here ya go!" said Branch, as he gives the shorts to Creek.

"Ok don't look." said Creek while trying to put on his shorts.

"What did you sa- AUUUGHHHHHH!" screamed Branch. "I saw your fricken di-"

"Shut up!" interrupted Creek.

Climbing up grassy hills, jumping on mud puddles, going onto the water, and much more! They were having so much fun!

"I'm tired and I broke my leg." said Creek.

"Let me carry you on the back." said Branch. Yes, Branch is 5 years old. And he can be tough sometimes.

So Branch carried Creek back home. Then he walked himself back home. But his grandma was now the problem.

"Branch. I know you did this." said Grandma Rosiepuff.

"Grandma, please forgive me." begged Branch.

"I mean if you woke me up and told me, I would let you." said Grandma Rosiepuff. "That's a lesson. Okay, Branchie?"

"Yes, Grandma." said Branch.

The lesson today is: If you want to do something, ask the person who is taking care of you. If they say no, ask them next time :)
