Alpha Carter arrived at the ruins, "Tundra," one of the witches from his pack, "do you feel any witches here?"

Tundra muttered a few words and held her hand up toward the ruins. After a couple of minutes, she replied, at the entrance are two guards. Inside there are about 50 prisoners mostly wolves, but a few other supernaturals."

A couple of Tyson's warriors stepped up, "Alpha Carter, let my group of warriors take care of these trolls. We fight mountain trolls when they try to come into our territory. We know how to take them out. But it is grizzly and not easy to watch."

Carter replied, "Take what you need down there."

One warrior looked at Tundra, "Will you be our bait that draws them out?"

"Just tell me what to do."

"Just go down but stay far enough away not to be affected by the ruebane, but wait for us to link we are in a position to attack."

"I can do that."

Carter then replied, "I want the goblins in this group to be prepared to check the prisoners. Remember we have been ordered not to release any of them. Once you access them we can arrange medical care if needed."

A few of the goblins replied, "Yes sir."

Carter then ordered, "This area does not seem hostile, "I want every other Wolf to head toward the battle to patrol around the battlefield to make sure no one sneaks in to ambush them."

Carter then links the other alpha, "This area only has two guards. Sending wolves to patrol surrounding areas." He then looks at the warriors, "Go."

Tyson's warriors start to sneak down to get into position. The goblins get ready to follow. He sees various wolves take off to patrol. He waits with Tundra beside him.

When the warriors are in place, "Priestess Tundra we are in position."

She walks down the trail leading to the ruins. When she is about fifty feet out she stops and calls out, "I was called to come here and I am greeted with ruebane. Who are the assholes who dare treat me that way?

Two trolls stumble out, "What do you want here warlock?"

She bristles and has to take a few steps back, "I was told my kind was gathering here and I steal of warlocks I get f***ing trolls. You dare to have ruebane on you."

"Listen old hag. This is our part of the territory. You are 125 miles away from the witches. Go north to their damn coven. We don't..." he screams out in pain. The wolves jump on them. It took them about ten minutes and both trolls were dead.

The goblins then scurried to the ruins and started to move in. They headed down where they could smell the prisoners. They say many wolves were beaten and starving. They saw fairies who had broken wings. Some vampires looked gaunt and their eyes were red from not being fed. They were almost feral. They found goblins down there that were shackled. They saw witches who were down-covered with blisters from being too close to Ruebane. A couple of the goblins threw up when they saw how bad some of the prisoners were.

"We need medical down here right away. No one here is in good enough shape to fight for help."

Carter called out, "Medics follow me. The rest of you stand guard. Fairies bring some doctors here."

He goes inside with the medics. When he sees the shape they are in, "stabilize them and start moving them outside to the courtyard."

Someone calls out, "What about the Supreme Order to leave prisoners in cages?"

"I will take the fall, but they are too weak to fight us. This place is too dirty to help them. This is inhumane how they were treated. MOVE THEM NOW!" His voice held command and anger.

No one dared question his order and they started accessing and moving them out. Carter followed them out. He saw the trolls' bodies had been removed. The witches moved down and started casting spells that cleaned them. A few witches were pulling various items from their pouches and giving some potions to the patients.

Elijah showed up with about a dozen doctors and nurses. He started accessing them and giving orders on what to do. He looked at the fairies, "Go back and tell Cami we need more of the red and blue bags. Start bringing them here." They transported out right away." He looked at Carter, "Get some wolves down here. We need to get some blood transfusions going or some of these wolves won't make it." He then turned back to his patient.

Carter called out, "I need every other wolf who is standing guard to donate blood to save them." Many stood and ran down.

Elijah yelled, "Lay down beside a wolf. We are going to have to give direct transfusions." Just then fairies started arriving with the red and blue bags. "I need some of you fairies to lay down my other fairies."

One of the goblins ran up to Carter, "We have all but the vampires out, they are on the verge of being feral and would be dangerous for us to help."

Carter looked at one fairy, "Go get Zeron and tell him we need him." The fairy disappeared.

A couple minutes later she reappeared with Zeron. "What the hell? We were just getting ready to move in when she grabbed me and brought me here."

Carter growled, "zip it. We have vampires in bad shape. Almost feral and starved. We cannot get near them to help."

He looked at Carter, "We need fresh dead rabbits. We can toss one into each vampire. If they are not feral that will help them. Once they start that will help keep them from going feral. If too late will have to do a mercy killing. I am going to them. Get the rabbits to me as quick as possible."

He quickly moved inside the ruins. There were seven vampires and two of them he had to kill as soon as he saw them. The rest he calmly said, "I am here to help you. I am having a small game being brought in to you. I will have it slowly given to you until you can control your urge to feed. The ones who did this to you are dead."

They just laid in the back staring at him. They did not move. When Carter came in he had fourteen dead rabbits and handed them to him. Zeron said, "Leave, and will let you know when I will need more."

Carter glanced at the patients. He then nodded at Zeron and left. Zeron tossed one rabbit next to each vampire. They did not move. He yelled, "Feed now dammit." They all quickly got up and started sucking the rabbits dry.

He noticed four of them their eyes went back to black. One of them the eyes were still red but a deep maroon red and no longer bright red. "It has been a while since they fed you. I will give you another rabbit. Then we will have to wait to see how long it takes to start to lose it. If we feed too fast it can cause you to go into a frenzy. This second rabbit I need you to suck with control. It will be hard but I don't want to have to take you out because of a frenzy."

He then tossed them a second rabbit. "Slow down and control your feed." Four of them were able to do it. The fifth one was struggling, "You are larger than the others. If you control the last part of your feed I will give you another." He concentrated and slowed down. When he was done Zeron threw another rabbit to him. He noticed the eyes were flashing between red and black. He picked up and had complete control during this feed. When they were done he said, "Lay down. I will be back in a few hours with more food.

One of the vampires asked, "Can the next wedding me bore?"

"It is too soon for fatty blood like that. The first few days should stay with the rabbit. When the fighting is done and we gain control of this territory I will have my warriors help bring you back to the kingdom cells. They are cleaner and we can help acclimatize you back to the regular world. How did you get in these cells?"

"Our coven was invited to celebrate Alpha Andrew's birthday. When we got here we discovered Alpha Michael had taken over and he invited us to stay and help take over the Supernatural Council and most of us said no. The next thing we knew we were in these cells. We started with thirty-three, but eight went with him. The others gradually died like Addison and Victor did earlier."

"I will be back soon." Zeron then turned and left bringing the remaining rabbits with him.

Carter looked at Zeron, "How are they?"

"With time those five should recover. They are not ready to be removed."  He looked over at  Tundra, "You cleaned up some of these guys can  you clean up the cells and the vampires inside?"

"We expended a bunch of our energy to get them cleaned. Plus having to clean up the ruebane off the witches. Let us rest and I promise we will get them next."

Zeron looked at her, "Thank you." He turned and started walking back toward the vampires.

Tundra called out, "There is a witches' remedy that I read about in one of the old books of my ancestors. It mentioned if a witch mixes some witches,  elf, and fairy blood with certain herbs it can heal a feral vampire. If you wish I can ask for volunteers to donate. Then give it to those vampires. I know they are borderline feral, but it might help heal them quicker. The potion says it does make the vampires screech in pain as they fight the demons. But I will let you decide."

He stopped  and thought about it, "Do it." Then he walked back into the dungeon.
