Kristopher, Kat, and Alpha Triston got to the edge of Section L with their group. Kat said, "I am heading straight to the bombs with Fairy Cyon. He will take me to each area. Once the last bomb is deactivated I will let you know it's ok to head to the ruins."

Alpha Triston replied, "Be careful. We will take off toward the road. The trolls were seen coming in and out of the ruins, so be careful."

Kristopher said, "Myself and the other six giants will be right behind phases two and three. The rest of the giants will move up with phase four."

Kat and Cyan disappear. Triston starts to lead phases two and three. They were about halfway to the road when they came upon a tribe of trolls sleeping outside. One of the troll guards yelled out, "Giants and wolves." The trolls quickly woke up and jumped to their feet. The guard grabbed Alpha Tristan around the neck and squeezed it. His neck cracked and fell to the side dead. About a dozen wolves then attacked the trolls. Other wolves with the loss of their leader became unsure whether to continue or retreat.

Kristopher took charge and yelled, "Attack the trolls in groups," and the wolves listened and began to attack.

The elves looked surprised because the trolls had camouflaged themselves to blend in with the underbrush. They had not even noticed them until they began to attack the wolves. They started shooting arrows at them.

The giants started fighting the trolls, but Kristopher noticed several wolves were going down even fighting them in groups.  Kristopher called out through the link, "We have encountered a tribe of about forty trolls. We are taking heavy casualties. We have lost Alpha Tristan and about one-fourth of phases two and three. We have killed nineteen of the trolls thus far. Phase four moves up. We won't be making the ruins anytime soon. Other sections send backup. Send witches to the ruins. I can smell they have ruebane on them which is bad for witches."

Tyson replied, "I am heading toward you with phase three and sending phase four to ruins. Witches don't go toward trolls."

Carter replied, "Half of phase three and all of four is heading your way now. I am sending phase three to join you and I will lead four toward the ruins. Are the bombs clear?"

Kat replied, "I am clearing the fifth bomb. Stop about half a mile away from where the bombs are just in case."

Wesley from section M replied, "I am heading with phase three to reinforce you and phase four is heading toward ruins. Those in phase four will follow your lead Alpha Carter at the ruins.

Tyson replied, "My phase four will also be under you, Carter. I will help phase three with the trolls. My pack has experience fighting mountain trolls."

Kat called out, "Move forward. The last bomb is cleared. I will meet you at the ruins"

Soon Tyson, Wesley, and phase four arrived with the other giants. Tyson growled and jumped on a troll's back and hit the neck that had a couple of dead or injured wolves around him. When the troll started to reach toward his back to try to pull Tyson off. Six wolves jumped up grabbing his arms and one wolf bit his balls area. Four ran behind and hit the back of his legs just as two hit his chest. As he started to fall back Tyson let go of the neck. He landed on his paws flipped around and put the troll neck on the left side as he hit the ground.  Another wolf jumped on him from the right and bit his neck.  The ones who hit the back of the legs ran and circled and chomped on his legs. Then two others chomped down on his feet. One wolf grabbed his hair and started pulling back until his head disconnected from the neck.  That wolf spit out the head. Then they moved on toward another troll.

When others saw how Tyson's group had taken down two trolls they started mimicking his fighting style.  Fewer wolves were then going down. But it became a terrible blood bath.

Giants and trolls were knocking each other about. When a giant got a troll on the ground the wolves started going for their necks and head. Many wolves would dog pile on the trolls.  When the battle was done the fairies started popping in and bringing the injured back to in infirmary to be treated.

Kristopher ordered phase three to gather their dead and ordered them to be brought to the underground garage in Section N. There were over two hundred dead and one hundred twenty-seven injured.

He had phase four bring the dead trolls into one place and burn their bodies. There ended up being fifty-two dead trolls and three critically injured trolls. He ordered the fairies to bring them to the giant's jail to be treated.  None of these trolls tried to surrender.
