Summer Camp Location

Aiden arrived with the warrior fairies, cat shifters, and his trackers at the cabins. They claimed a place that Genos had stated was safe to use. The house was a "U" shape. The two sides had twenty-four twin bunk beds with storage lockers at the end of each. There were twelve bunk beds with a bathroom, plus under the lower bunk bed was room for storing bags. Each of the four rooms had toilets and showers.  There was a large standard room that connected the two sides. This area had several chairs

It was decided that this cabin would house SNAP, elves, shifters, and fairies. Six of the elves were moving in with SNAP.

Once everyone was settled down, Aiden asked for the head fairy, elf, gnome, and two shifters to come to his office. Once they were sat down, he stated. "This group has even assigned two goals. Goal one is to get this place repaired and livable. I know Genos and his gnome crew will be in charge of that. When we are coming and going, if anyone finds something that needs to be repaired or has a suggestion for improvement, there will be a box in the cafeteria they will check. This is the only warning- This area will tolerate no pranks or false reports of repairs. Any false notices of that person will be returned to the council and replaced. This mission to too crucial for that type of tomfoolery. I am sure your superiors would not like that.

"Yes sir," they replied.

Genos asked, "The lodge's main floor will be done tonight. The staff on the second floor should be done in two days. I have another group of gnomes coming in tonight to work on the smaller cabin fixes. I have done a floor plan for those cabins. Originally they had eight built-in bunk beds and a counselor room. I am turning them into floor plans of six built-in bunk beds with closets attached and will make a storage area below the lower bunk. Each room will have a shared common room with a table. Then a fourth group of gnomes will arrive tomorrow and fix the three other cabins like this one. We are also going g to build a safe room below ground on them. This one currently doesn't have a safe room, but we will add one later and do updates to it. Plus any other request."

"What has Alpha Adam said about this?"

"I did not ask him. I looked up ratio laws, and the ratio is 1:12 ratio. I am making the counselor room made with queen-size beds for the mated pairs or will do double-size bunk beds for the single counselors.  The counselor rooms will be made so that beds can be swapped out. They have twenty-five of those smaller cabins.  By bringing in more gnomes from various tribes, we should have all of them complete within two weeks. I am hoping the third tribe I contacted will come. If they do, those twenty-five cabins will be completed much sooner. I will keep you posted. We will ask Elder Bronze if he wants us to make up ten more cabins for the lost bunks with downsizing to ratio requirements."

"Sounds like a great plan, but clear the new design with Alpha Adam or his grandfather. Now our second mission is to get Rendezvous Pack mapped out."

Kat spoke up, "Swift and I have been talking.  We want to make a suggestion."

Aiden spooked at them, "Precede."

"The Gnomes are night people and do most of their building at night. Swift and I are nocturnal creatures too. I noticed that three of the warrior fairies and four of the elves come from nocturnal tribes too.  This makes nine of us who are nocturnal.  I want to suggest the nocturnals move to our room. We run the nighttime security. Then use the fairies and some elves to help scout out Rendezvous."

Kief replied, "I have 3 of my members who are IT specialists. They could monitor everything from the camera room. Plus, work to find back doors into Rendevous Pack Computers.  I can stay here to run surveillance patrols. If anything came up, I would have the nocturnal group to call on for backup."

Aiden replied, "Don't forget we have Dave, Zane, Peter, Tyrone, Tyrick, and Cami here. They are not trackers. They can help with patrols too.  Let me link to see if one of my pack members will volunteer for Nocturnal. This way, we are all represented at night."  His eyes clouded over.  "Peter said he would do a nocturnal patrol.  Cami will be POC  in the office lodge on the main floor. She will be there 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm."

Geri replied, "She is ready to announce that..."

Aiden interrupted, "Stop, this is something we talk about. Dave and Zane want to share that information in person. We will state since she is an alpha's daughter, and she has alpha command, she is POC between nocturnal and daytime shifts."

They all nodded at Aiden. "Now, here will be the breakdown of our groups. Genos is in charge of Gnomes. Your direct contact will be Cami when she is on duty, Kat at night, or Kief during the day if something comes up."

Genos replied, "I have about a dozen gnomes who rotate to daytime to accept any loads. I will be sure Cami is given those invoices and schedules."

"Kief, you will be in charge of daytime patrol. Then will split your warriors between the groups. You also will report to Cami when I am not around."

Then there is a knock, "Enter."

Benjamin and Cami walked in, "Glad you could get here. Have a seat."

Once they sat down, Aiden said, "Cami, since you have alpha blood. I want to place you in charge of communications between the various groups.  When Genos has problems or makes orders for supplies, he will arrange deliveries through you. Plus, the staff at the lodge will report to you. When various groups come in with intel, I want them to tell you. You will be in charge of using your skills to organize the layouts. "

"Did Dave or Zane tell you?"

"I haven't talked to them. Tell me what?"

"Well, obvious, you know, and if anyone says anything before we announce it to Our family when they get here, I will string you up." Then she looked around the room, "Any handwritten notes better be legible, or you will rewrite it. If you can't do that, then report directly to me. Am I clear?"

They all say, "Yes, ma'am."

Aiden smirked, "That is why you are officially POC." He looked at everyone, "I quickly wrote down who will be doing what." He looked at Cami, "In the future, I will be sure my scribbles are neater." He hands her what he has written down.

"Now, as I started to say, Kief will be in charge of daytime patrol at this camp.  He will report to Cami. You will chat with Genos and Kat thirty minutes before their shift ends. They will chat with you thirty minutes before your shift ends.  Day shifts will be from 7:30  to 8:30 pm. I do not expect your group to work thirteen-hour days.  Split them up to do eight-hour shifts." He looks at Geno, "Try to make deliveries in the middle of the day when Kief has the two groups overlap. Kief also has day shifts overlap with the night  by 30 minutes."

He looks at Kat, "You will do a similar shift setup with your night groups. Overlap at shift change. The reason for overlap is that it is the most vulnerable time for attacks. Kat, you also will report to Cami. Keep communication going with Kief."

He then looked at Geri and Benjamin.  Tomorrow morning after breakfast, I will lead my group to the far side of Rendezvous.  I will have six elves and five fairies with me. We are going to use the old council map. We will check out the mountain area and what was labeled ruins." I point to the place I marked section one on the map.

I point to section two of the map. "Geri, you will have Chris with you. It is this area that Dave and Zane heard that scream that made them think it was their mother. If what we suspect is true, then this area will be heavily guarded. Chris is one of the best trackers I have seen. Let him do his tracking, but keep someone watching around him. He tends not to pay attention to his surrounding, which can be dangerous. I know you fairies can pop in and out of places without being seen. However, rumor has it they have a strong witch, so be careful of fairy traps. When you assign your fairies to the sites groups, keep that in mind."

Cami interrupted, "Connor from the witches called just before you called me in here. He mentioned he and the giants made charms that would help repel and detect traps. He said it would be brought over around supper time. He would show everyone how they are activated. That should help all of you."

Geri replied, "Glad you said something. I was going to suggest contacting a fairy/witch hybrid I know who makes charms like that. "

Aiden said, "Benjamin, you have the most experience tracking. I am going to have your group map out section three. Plus, the village. There is a packed house located in this area. "

He looked around the room at everyone, "it is now 2:41 pm. There is a training area behind the lodge. I want everyone to report there by 3:00 pm. There are several circles drawn on the ground. Yes, many of them are faded. Each leader will grab a circle. One at a time, we will assign our people to their groups except for our nocturnals. Call them and have them report to Kat in their room. Then head to bed. Since it is late, have your group report for supper at 10:30 pm. Then afterward, report for first night duty."
