The next day when in chambers discussing what should be done, Elijah got a call on his emergency secure line. He answered it, "Hello, Councilman Elijah. How can I help you?" Pause, "WHAT!!!" He shouted.
"I have Alpha Charlie with me. I am going to switch this to a speakerphone. The whole chamber will hear you." He sets the phone down and presses a button, "Alpha Adam? Can you hear me now?"

"Yes, I hear you just fine. Am I coming out clear?"

Several voices said, "Yes."

Elijah says, "I have Alpha Adam from Meadow Park on the line. He says he needs to talk to the council and have me bring you a secure encryption phone to Alpha Charlie. Alpha Charlie is here before the council. I will give him this phone after this meeting. This way, you will have his number.  Now Adam, tell them what is so important that you called this number when we were in session."

"My sister, Cami, is Davis and Zane's mate. They planned to tell you in person, but right now, their group detoured and is in hiding.  I have my cousin, Conley, disguised as someone named Peter. He is driving the SUV with the trailer back toward you. He said that he had been followed most of this trip, but for the past few hours, he hadn't seen them. He doesn't know if he is not seeing them because he is tired or they turned back. He drove through the night and should be arriving soon.   Cami has given him a letter for Alpha Charlie."

Charlie asks, "Contact Conley and tell him a fairy will pop into the SUV with him. I will see whom I can get, but I need his exact location."

Councilwoman Patricia spoke up, "I can do it. Tell him it will be Councilwoman Patricia."

Adam says, "One moment." We hear a click.  A few moments later, we hear another click. "He has turned on his GPS on his phone. Here is his number (made-up number) 961-883-7003. This way, you can get his exact coordinates."

"Thank you, Adam. Can you tell us where your sister, Alpha Charlie's brothers, and other SNAP members hide?"

"I sent them to a summer camp my grandfather runs. It is about two hours from Rendezvous Pack. It is about four hours from my pack.  My brother is heading there with supplies.  The place closed down last fall for the season and would open up at the start of summer. We usually do a spring clean-up, so if seen, they would think of cleanup detail. That's how Elijah and I know each other."

Charlie asks, "Us showing up there could be hidden?"

"Coming from your way or the council way would be suspicious, but not from our way.  Usually, Elijah's mate Taliah contacts the packs, including Rendezvous. We are coming for the cleanup. All packs within two hours of that location are informed of activity."

He paused, "Let me put you on hold. My cousin is calling."

Before they could answer, Patricia popped up right beside Alpha Joesph. She waved, "I have the letter for you from Cami."

Alpha Joesph swung his arm and knocked her to the ground. He then realized who she was. He quickly stepped back, "I am sorry, Councilwoman Patricia. I thought you were..."

He went flying back and landed on his back. Councilman Patrick stood over him and yelled, "You dare attack a councilwoman and my twin sister."

"Patrick, stop it. It was my fault. None of you realized I left and returned. Alpha Joesph has pledged to protect Charlie.  My appearing like I probably did make him think I was attacking him or Supreme Charlie, so instinctively, he protected them both as you did me.  Now get back to your seat. I am ok." She stood and turned toward Charlie, "Here is the letter." She hands it to him. Then she turns toward Joesph, "Are you ok?"

"I am fine. Thank you for understanding," he replies as he stands up." She turns and flies to her chair beside her pouting and angry brother.

Charlie opens the letter and starts to read it.

Charlie

This is not how I ever wanted to meet my new brother-in-law. We had planned to arrive at your current base, and your brothers would properly introduce me. Instead, you get a phone call message about me and this letter.

However, all that changed when we saw the bald man at Rendezvous Pack.  Alpha Alexander denied knowing him. We had to pretend we did not see Baldy.  Since then, we have been followed, hoping they fall for the ruse I planned with my brother, Alpha Adam Bronze.  We did try to call, and it kept going to voice mail, so if you check voicemails, you will have heard from them telling you they found their mate. If you haven't checked them, SURPRISE."

The man posing as Peter is my cousin. His name is Conley Westlin. We made a switch on our way back to you. He can tell you how we hopefully deceived our tail.

Though during these trying times, we do what we must. I am an Alpha daughter and have been raised to prepare for combat. I do feel we are preparing for war. One of the things I learned from Papa was to get to know your enemy.

This enemy would not even let us on his property for hospitality. This alpha seemed weak, and my instincts say he officially has lost his pack. He is just posing as the alpha though he still Carrie his alpha authority. My instincts tell me that someone else is running it, and I  feel it is one of the wolves on our list. You can call it female intuition, my gut feeling, or whatever you want.

When Peter and I saw the bald man, we had to hide what we had witnessed. We had to pretend we did not know. This alpha would not even let us turn around on his territory. Though they did have a jug handle, that tells me they have most likely turned away people consistently. He then had us followed. We have hopefully tricked them and lost them because of my cousin. We are too far away to link.  We do not have secure phones.

I was able to contact my brother, Alpha Adam. I used our coded language on our call. He sent my cousin, Conley. He hopefully helped us slip away. Then some of his friends helped delay our followers long enough. They were following Fake Peter and not us.

Prepare for battle. Get your Allie's together. If this letter is intercepted, it won't say where we are.  Only one with my mate's DNA can read it. I used a special potion to write this.

My cousin will not even know where we are.

My brother will get us a secure phone when I meet him. He will of evacuated our pack to a safe location before he heads to assist me.

He said he would have used a secure phone to contact our father's friend, Fairy Elijah, from the council. He should be showing up soon with his phone. This phone will be ours.

I can brief you on the rest of the plan once we talk. Just practice and watch for mange rouge.

Cami

"Ok, Alpha Adam, where exactly are your sister and my brothers? I want coordinates and not just general location. We have to get to them ASAP. Why haven't you met up with them yet?"

Adam replied, "I have been moving my pack to their secure location. I did send some of my warriors to secure the camp. The surrounding packs know we do that before sending the cleanup crew so that they won't think anything unusual about that. I will be taking off personally with my of my warriors within the hour."

Adam paused, "I know how you all can get there undetected. Use the fairy transportation power to move everyone there. Plus, I suspect what my sister's plan is."

Goliath replied, "I know what I would do now."

Charlie says, "We all have ideas. I know who my allies are. However, I do not feel I should call them all in. I do feel we should do what Alpha Adam did. Those staying behind should put their packs into safe spots before being activated."

Joesph says, "I informed my Luna to do that last night."

Goliath says, "Before we go any farther, I propose a council vote. The Moon Goddess, for some reason, made the council feel the need to bring up a group we called SNAP1. She knew we would need a leader, Alpha Charles Sommers-Hutton. As a council, I think we all needed to follow him. We voted him yesterday as our Supreme Leader to SNAP.

What I propose is we sanction this war. That we each send a group of our warriors from the Supernatural Council. We place them under Alpha Charlie.  We keep the other part here ready to deploy for backup in case anyone is  attacked."

I, Lead Jonas, head of the witch's council, commit fifteen of my warriors from our council warrior team to Alpha Supreme Charles Sommers-Hutton of SNAP. I commit myself to follow our Supreme." He then kneels and bows his head. Charlie turns toward their stage.

The other council witches kneel and bow their heads, "We support Lead Jonas in this matter."

A glow between Alpha Charlie and them appears. Charlie taps his chest, "Thank you, and I commit myself to be the best leader I can and to protect to the best of my ability.

Jonas stands and holds out his palm toward Charlie. He replies, "We gift you the power of healing faster." An orb hovers above his palm. The other witches stand and have a ball, then appear in their palms. The orbs float above them and merge into one. Then flies across the room and absorbs into his chest."

" I, Lead Conner, as head of the Lycan committee, give you are support with blessings from your Uncle Easton. We commit twenty of our Lycan warriors to you from our council warrior team." He then kneels and offers his neck.

The other council members kneel and offer their necks, "We, too, support this decision."

"We offer you the gift of extra strength," lead Connor holds his hand up, and a red orb floats above his hand. The other Lycan held up their hands, and red balls formed. They merged and shot across the room to be absorbed into his chest.

A red glow between Alpha Charlie and them appears. Charlie taps his chest, "Thank you, and I commit myself to be the best leader I can and to protect to the best of my ability.

Each lead from each group does a pledge and sends a gift. By the end, this was what Charlie had been gifted...

Lead Jonas from the witches gifts the power of healing.

Lead Connor from Lycan gifts the power of strength.
Commits 20 Lycan warriors.

Lead Gisi from the Merfolks /sirens gifts the power to swim distance above and below water.
Commits 30 Merfolks/ Sirens (20 merfolk and five sirens now and five more to come within a week)

Lead Eowyn from the elves gifts the power to have his aim always be true when using a weapon.
Commits 30 elf warriors.

Lead Goliath from the werewolves gifts the power of wisdom.
Commits 20 werewolf warriors. Plus, in his former pack, he was alpha too.

Lead Gwendle from the goblins gift the power to see better in the dark
Commits 15 warrior Goblins.

Lead Nicolai from the vampires gifts the power of speed
Commits 15 vampires

Lead Elijah from the fairies gifts the power of transportation.
Commits 20 fairies

King Landbeuck from the Dragons gifts him the power of fire and ice.
He commits to sending five warriors.

Lead Pieter from the gnomes gifts him the power to build.
He says we are not warriors, but after the war, we commit our gnomes to help rebuild buildings like we helped rebuild Juniper Pack many years ago.

Katherine and Swift, who represents shifters, gift him the power to shift to cats (but he discovers he can also change to bears and fox.)
They commit themselves since they have no supernatural committee warriors

Kristopher, who represents giants, gifts him the power of protection from dark magic.
He does not commit any giants since he fears stepping on allies. He does commit to using their power to break any dark magic spells. Will send giants when called upon.

When all was done, Charlie looked stronger. He said, "Everyone who still is kneeling, please rise." Joesph, standing by him, said, "Joe, help me to the couch. I am feeling light-headed and overwhelmed." He then passed out."

Others started to get up and head toward him when Lead Jonas said, "Stop; no one but Joesph can touch him. His body is adapting to all these gifts. If anyone but Joesph feels him, you might accidentally get one of those gifts thrown at you.  It could kill you until his body accepts and adapts to all he was gifted." Joesph moved Charlie to the sofa that appeared on the turntable.

Everyone stopped trying to move toward him.  Lead Elijah said, "Alpha Adam thank you for staying on the line. Tahlia will make the phone calls and safe travel."
