Supernatural Council Building

Charlie and Joesph were waiting outside the supernatural chambers in a waiting room.

Charlie asks, "Why did you feel it was necessary to come here? I felt the pull to listen. Why did you feel it necessary to make that pledge? That pledge caused your whole pack to merge our packs which I wasn't expecting."

"Your location has gotten out. I had over a dozen phones before I left with other leaders wanting to meet you. It is not just wolf packs. The friendly rouge village your mom set up stated they would apply to become a pack to help with the quest. I have had two fairy flocks, three gnomes groups, and one elf township offering to assist in the Bring Justice for Jocelyn Campaign. Plus, eight wolf packs. They called to let me know they were coming since they would be near my pack-lands. It was one of the witches they are allies with that were having premonitions encouraging it. They were encouraged to go through me in that suspicion.

"Why is this happening?"

"I did manage to delay them from coming. I requested that you let me discuss this with you and make a plan with the Supernatural Council support. It would be very suspicious for everyone to start showing up like that with no backing. It could be considered treason."

"Why do they have this pull? I am confused about why this is happening."

"That is why I wanted us to come to the council. You have been chosen to be our supreme leader going into this battle. We have had in our history leader supremes happen though it was 352 years ago. I thought that supreme leaders were folklore, but after that pledge I made, I think you might be one."

"Why would I become a supreme leader?"

"I don't know, but in those tales, they never mentioned other supernaturals following him. I figure let the council know. This way, no chance of treason being brought forth."

There was a knock on our waiting room door. Elder Fairy Councilman Zephyr and she-wolf Lawyer Cynthia walked in, "Alpha Joesph, how can I," she looked up from the papers in her hands, "Charlie, what are you doing here?"

"Hello, Cynthia and Elder Zepher. Wasn't expecting to see you today."

Elder Zephyr replied, "I was having tea with friends at a cafe. Your aunt was there with Georgette. I overheard the conversation, and a few of my fairies offered to go with Georgette. I came with Tianna here. I told her you needed to request a meeting like you did. I told Tianna I would be your sponsor and grabbed Cynthia as your legal representative."

"I am not sure why we need a sponsor or legal representative, but I never came here for advice." He looked at Joesph, "How rude. Let me formally introduce you. This is Alpha Joseph Edwards Lupos from Eaglewood/Snap Packs. Joesph, this is Lawyer Cynthia, who represented my mother when she requested the change in how rape wolves were treated. Elder Zepher was my mother's sponsor. She lived on his land when pregnant with me and my womb mates."

"It is nice to meet you."

Cynthia said, "ok, Zephyr has already briefed me that you two are here to inform the council of something to keep from being named traitors."

Charlie looked at Zephyr, "How do you know about us coming here to keep from being accused of that?"

Zephyr replied. "  I was having tea with three elder councilmen witches: Elder Sarah, Elder Carmen, and Elder Freya. As I aged, my family didn't like me to go out alone after the last time I used my powers; I accidentally landed in the Arctic. I was close to the winter dragon layer, and he flew me home, which is how I had fairies to get you. What landed me as your sponsor."

He looked at Charlie; Elder Sarah handed me a drawing.  It was a wolf wearing a crown. The limbs of the trees represent earth, wind, water, and fire. It has the infinity supernatural symbol on it.

"What does this mean? Why are supernaturals labeled under some of these headings? That wolf does resemble my wolf."

Zepher replied, "In the last week, I have various supernaturals contacting me about their witches or seers getting visions of this. Many are asking why they are being placed under the various elements. I am the one they spoke to as one of the oldest older council members still alive. I had to go into my achieves. I was a child when the last supreme wolf was born 372 years ago. He was the leader of all werewolves. It was after a war that he requested a supernatural council. There were four representatives back then. One for each element."

'Now we have nine?"

"We have officially nine, but the infinity can be represented if they call upon the council for us to stand up a chamber for them. For example, if the dragons wanted on the council, they could request chambers for five representatives. The witches could activate their chambers, and it would reappear. They went into hibernation about 250 years ago. We have not had a fire representative since then. Though we have had various supernaturals learn control of that element. For example, with my wings, I represent air." He flies a few feet above the ground. "I can also do fire," his hand lights up a flame in his palm. "Occasionally, I can bring on water, but only in large groups. Several fairies can grow things by touch." He pulls a seed from his pocket, and a flower blooms in his hand.

"Through the centuries, we have learned various elements."

Charlie and Joesph stated, "What did this have to do with me?"

Cynthia said, "With many feeling the pull, we think a war is coming, and you are the leader of us all."

"I am only 23 and have been a leader for just two years."

Cynthia replied, "But you grew up blending many supernaturals at the center. These visions started happening before you became alpha. At first, it was thought to be Jocelyn, but now we believe it has been you. With the pull others are getting toward you, that seems to confirm it."

"But I am not full strength yet even. I haven't found a mate."

Zephyr replied, "In history, there were three other supremes, and they got their power always on their twenty-fifth birthday except for the last one who was twenty. He was Supreme for only a year, and he sacrificed himself to save a couple of packs from an avalanche."

Just then, there was a knock on their door. A Lycan said, "The council is ready to see you. Please follow me."
