Charles linked me, "Alpha Charlie, I wanted to let you know Elder Solomon, your grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins are here.  Plus, Dr. West from Green Valley Pack. He took your grandmother to the hospital wing with the other sedated wolves. Your grandfather is with her. The rest are in their room. They were asked to be down for dinner at 6:30.

Plus, the families of the guards who were from other packs arrived. A few of them were also sedated. We put the families all in the packed hotel at no charge. I invited them to dinner and the pack meeting.

Several members of the supernatural council have arrived. Councilman Goliath called to say he would be here at about 6:00 pm. The other members are settled where you asked us to bring them. Which is why I made dinner at 6:30 to give him time to wash up before eating."

"Thank you, Charlie. I am also inviting the elders and their mates. Can you see if Uncle Solomon can come here?"

Find out if Councilman Goliath has answers for us.

Ask Doctor Schwartz to be there to update his patients. Have him and his mate also join our dinner.

I want to aim for an 8:30 pm pack meeting. Make sure the video feed is set up. This way, those with pups can watch from home if they choose. Those on duty can watch it when relieved from their post.

"I can do that, Alpha. Already the meals were being prepped. Your uncle won't be here until hopefully tomorrow. He will send his family even if he has to be delayed in arriving. He is still working with the prison break."

"I understand. Keep me informed." He then shut down the link and looked at the elders. "I want to thank you for agreeing to come out of retirement until my siblings feel up to returning. It can't be easy since you all worked with Mom and Dad directly. Charles just linked me to the day Elder Solomon arrived. I asked Charles if he could send him here. I will stay in charge of the pack but will be busy trying to discover who murdered them. The ones in charge will pay with their lives. I will ask Elder Solomon to step in as acting alpha to assist me. When I get a clue who did it, I don't want to leave the pack with no leaders in charge, so I asked you to step up. I know my siblings will want to come with me."

Elder Davis asked him, "What will happen if you get killed too? Will all your siblings be going with you?"

"I am going to ask my womb mates to come with me. I am leaving Victoria, Celeste, and Olivia with Grammy Victoria. If I get killed, then my beta will resume command."

Elder Samantha replied, "But if they are with you and you fall. Good chance they will fall too. Which means that the pack is taken over by whoever killed you."

Charlie looked at them, "No because before I leave, I am giving the pack to Solomon and naming Victoria as the heir. If I come back victorious, I know Solomon will hand it back over.  I will also ask your son, Beta Caspian, to step up and personally assist Solomon.

Elder Thomas yelled, "You cannot do that. That will make you rogues."

"Not if I ask Uncle Graham and Uncle Easton to assign us an Ambassador for the Lycan. They believe in seeking justice, and he would most likely even give me trackers and warriors/guards. We will be a lethal group who will get justice for my family and pack members' death."

Elder Davis looked at me, "If something would happen to you and the others." He paused, "You want Elder Solomon to train Victoria, me and the other elder betas to train Celeste, and the elder deltas to train Olivia if your group doesn't return. If part of your group comes back, it would be a succession if need be?"

Then a voice at the doorway said, "I am willing to step in as alpha, but refuse to hear you won't come back. You will come back after you kick their ass. I just ask if you can bring them back for a public execution. Plus, I will request my nephew send a few of our fighters to join your excursion." Everyone turns and sees Elder Solomon standing at the door entrance. Charlie stands and walks over to him and gives him a bro-hug.

"It's good to see you," Charlie said. "Thank you for being willing to step up and come out of retirement."

The others looked at their alpha, "We will also step up."

Beta Davis said, " But ask that you keep us in the loop. Consider having a tracker placed on your person so we can know where you are at all times in case you cannot contact us. If you go more than a week with no contact, we can send a backup."

Charlie looked at them, "You realize if they are like us, then we will be stripped of clothing, phones, and jewelry. How can I keep a GPS tracker on me?"

A man came up behind Elder Solomon, "I can help with that."

Solomon looked at him, "Doctor West, why are you here? Is something wrong?"

Doctor West looked at him, "No, all the patients are fine. Doctor Schwartz and I decided to keep them sedated overnight and, in the morning start waking them up. We will call the families to be with them as we wake them."

Solomon looked at him, "That is a good idea, but why not link me that information I could have told them."

"I needed to talk to you and Alpha Charlie." He then looked at Charlie, "I will volunteer to go with you as a medical help."

Charlie said, "Why should I bring you?"

Doctor West answered, "Because your sister, Elizabeth is my mate."

He looked surprised, "what about Guinevere? Those two are identical. Identical usually share a mate."

"My identical twin is the beta at Green Valley Pack. He is Beta Elliot West-Shiner. I want permission to have him come here to see if he is her mate. He will most likely want to be one of the warriors on this excursion to get revenge for killing his mate's mom. Plus, we both knew your parents. They were one of the good ones."

I have had some ideas pop into my head as I post this on March 10, 2023.
