TRAVELING WARRIORS

The following day Dave was handed the keys to Cami's car. She gave her brother hugs. "Once we are back to Juniper, I will ensure you are invited to my pack joining ceremony and official Pack mating ceremony. Love you."

"Love you too. Keep her safe."

Dave and Zane reply, "We will." Then Dave climbs into the driver seat of the blue convertible. Zane picks Cami up and sets her in the back seat with him in the convertible. Tyrone climbs into the driver's seat, and Peter, in the passenger seat of the SUV, pulls the trailer. He takes off down the long drive back to the road, following Dave as they head toward River Road Pack, listed as a two-day drive according to GPS.

Peter linked Dave, "In about four hours, the road we are on will pass through Black Pike Territory. Did anyone give them the heads up?"

Dave linked back, "That name wasn't brought up. Better call Charlie and have him contact them. Check if he needs to contact anyone else." He looks in the mirror and sees Zane and Cami making out. He feels jealous. "After you talk to him, let me know. Going to let you take over driving. We are going to the camper and make sure we mark our mate before we get to another Pack Territory."

"I am surprised you did not mark last night."

"She felt it wasn't right doing it in her brothers in the house. Under Juniper laws, when we mate, she automatically becomes a pack member. They will feel someone join through a mate bond. They won't know who and cannot link with her until the official ceremony. This way, she is covered and not considered a rouge for any pack with grudges and attacks rouges instead of sending them to the center."

"Never heard of that law."

"That is because you are Lycan, and it is not law in all packs. They tried to make it a supernatural law but too many protests by alphas. So it was suggested that anyone going to be labeled rouge is to be sent to the supernatural center to be evaluated if they can be helped or not. However, not all packs abide by that suggestion."

"That sounds better than nothing. Well, let me call Alpha Charlie and see about him contacting Black Pike Pack, and I see a couple of other packs we pass near. He can give them heads up."

About an hour later, "ok, pull over in next town, 10 minutes ahead. There is a truck stop with a sandwich place. We can all eat lunch and be on the road within half an hour. Arrangements have been made for us to drive through with no hassles. Also, 7 hours ahead found a campground. It's on the edge of Brighten Pack Territory. They will have supper set up for us." Dave groaned. "Charlie said that they understand the importance of this mission and small repayment for all the center's help with a couple of their members who are now back with them. The food will be brought in and dropped off with no meet and greet this time."

Dave let out a breath. "I am glad."

They stopped and quickly ate. Tyrone was given the keys to the convertible, and Peter would drive the SUV. This way, Tyrone got a break from driving the SUV while pulling the trailer.

They climbed into the trailer and went into their room. Dave looked at Cami, "are you sure you are ready? Just the thought of going into other territories with you not marked is making me feel crazy. I just don't li..." She slammed her mouth on his. He stopped talking and started fighting for dominance. He wrapped his arms around her. He lifted her off the ground, and she wrapped her legs around him. He continued kissing her. When they ran out of breath, he raised his lips off her and breathed heavily.

She was gasping for breath. When she caught her breath, she looked at him. "I am very sure." In her alpha tone, she said, "Take your clothes off." His eyes darkened, and he growled. His wolf did not like his mate giving him an order. She flirtatiously said, "I will make it worth it." She looked over at Zane, "You too."

They both started undressing. Her eyes darkened as she watched them strip. When they were both undressed, she pushed them both back on the bed. She said, "Close your eyes and hold the headboard by your heads" They did as she asked, and she got into one of her boxes. She came out with two sets of handcuffs. She walked up and gave teasing kisses to Zane. She then handcuffed him. Then did the same to Dave.

Their eyes opened, and they started watching her with a prey look as their eyes darkened. She started doing a strip tease for them. She then did a cat crawl between them. She looked at Zane, "You have been making out with me in the back seat this morning. Dave is going to have me first and get marked first. You will have me afterward. However, I will take you orally first to relieve you."

Zane growled, "How do you know all this stuff?"

"In our pack, once we get our wolf, we are in a sexual education class. Where we learn about how to please our mate."

"You have sex before your mate is found?"

"No, we do not go all the way. We are taught about oral sex, but no penetration is allowed. They teach us how we can please our mates."

"Dave growled, eyes turning black, "how many wolves have you had oral sex with?"

"None for me since I am an alpha daughter. They didn't let me practice with real wolves. They teach us oral sex isn't real sex. It is just a way to tease and build sexual pleasure that leads to the real thing and brings extreme joy to our mates. I want to please you. They immediately calmed down when she said that. It leads to a delightful afternoon. Once all three were marked and fully mated, they did open up the windows to air out their room. Then snuggled down to sleep as their bodies merged to seal their mating bond. They did not wake up until the following day.

When they awoke, they were hungry.  Peter was already awake. He was outside talking to a couple of she-wolves who brought breakfast burritos and coffee for everyone.  They came out, and the she-wolves looked at them, "Congratulations on finding your mate. Peter here explained that was why there were only two meals last night. We boxed up leftovers that you can eat for lunch today—decided to bring you breakfast burritos this morning with coffee. I hope you enjoy them. We have to take off to work now. Safe travels and happy hunting." Then they turn and walk away.

"Thank you," they all call out. They sit outside at a picnic table to eat.

Zane looked around, "where is Tyrone?"

Peter replied, "he is right now sleeping. He returned about 4:30 am after a night of play with those two she-wolves.  I figured we would drive to the meet-up place with River Road and Summer Set Packs.  There is a campground about 30 miles from River Road and 20 miles from Summer Set. Both packs have agreed to meet us there. The alpha from one pack has his sister Luna from the other pack. This place is where the packs meet up for family fun."

"We will let him sleep. There are 30 burritos here. Go place six in the refrigerator so that he can eat later."

Cami looked at Peter, "You can drive my car this morning. When we stop for lunch, we will swap out drives and wake up the gigolo to drive if he isn't already awake."

They took off driving, and when they entered Spring Meadow territory, they were stopped. "Who are you, and why are you entering our territory?"

Peter replied, "Alpha Charlie spoke to your alpha about us driving through on the way through on SNAP business."

"I was not given any such message from the alpha. My alpha said we would stop all wolves and turn them around."

Dave said, "This road is considered sanctuary road, and it is common courtesy that we call ahead of time to inform you we are coming."

"Roads through our pack are not sanctioned. You have been misinformed."

Zane said, "How about I call The Supernatural Councilman Goliath of the Wearwolf Branch to see what he says?"

They laugh, "I am Beta Thaddeus Rowan, and you, a nut with no rank, are trying to tell me you know councilman?    Sure you do. Our alpha is on the way."

Dave, Zane, and Cami all growl, and Cami climbs out of the SUV. "My mates are not mutts. They are Delta Dave and Zane Sommer-Hutton of Juniper Pack.  They are also on a joint pack called SNAP, that the council founders. Their brother is Alpha Charles Sommer-Hutton. Their uncle is Lycan Alpha Easton Hutton. Plus, my brother is Alpha  Adam Bronze. The three of us all come from Alpha Parents, so don't you dare refer to us as mutts."

He snickered, "Dropping pretty big names, and I don't smell the strong juniper smell on you."

Dave says, "Goliath didn't answer his cell."

"So now you got the cell of them. How about we just put you in a cell."

Dave's voice suddenly says, "Aunt Tianna, we were trying to get Charlie or Uncle Goliath, and no answer." Everyone stopped talking and looked toward Dave. He paused talking. "We are on the sanctuary road that goes through Spring Meadow Pack Territory, and they are refusing us access, plus now threatening to put us in the cell." Pause. "Beta Thaddeus Rowan claims his alpha said to stop all wolf traffic and turn them around. If we pull into a drive or another road, we won't be on the sanctioned highway, permitting them to imprison us. We were staying on the road and contacted you."

"You expect us to believe Councilwoman Tianna is now on the phone?"

"I am putting the phone on speakerphone. She wants to talk to the idiot in charge."

Thaddeus growled when he heard Tianna saying, "Now you listen here, you jackass. You will settle down and quit trying to bully my nephews. The road they are on is a sanctioned road that means anyone can go up and down it without this sort of harassment."

"Now listen to me bitch anyone can call claiming to be anyone. That doesn't mean..."

Just then, a furious fairy popped in front of them. She pushed her power out, which forced them to kneel. Just then, their alpha came forward out of the trees. He growled when he saw his beta and warriors on the ground bowing. "What the hell do you think you are doing?"

She pushed her power on him and forced him down. She then released them, "I am teaching your pack members how to give respect to supernatural councilmen. Also, how many  wolves have you placed in cells over the years when tricking them off the sanctuary road, Alpha Joplin?"

"None of your business bitch."

Around them popped up five fairies with 4 Supernatural Wolf Enforcers and her mate, Councilman Goliath. "Thank you for bringing them here."

The enforcers grumbled, "We hate traveling that way. It better be urgent that you call us here."

Goliath growled, "It was my mate who had us brought here. Since she knows how much I hate this mode of travel, it would have to be illegal and life-threatening."

She looked over to the four bowing wolves. "Standup now." They all stood up. She looked at the beta, "I command you to repeat what you said to me."

He gave her a questioning and unsure look.

"How about we started when you had me on speaker," she replied.

"That mutt held out a phone claiming a councilwoman was on the phone. I did not believe him so I said... 'Now listen to bitch anyone can call claiming to be anyone. That doesn't mean...' Just then, she popped in front of us as a furious fairy. She used her power that forces us to kneel. Just then, our alpha came out of the woods, unaware of what was happening. He growled when he saw me, his beta, and two of his warriors on the ground bowing. My alpha yelled, "What the hell do you think you are doing?" The fairy pushed her power on him and forced him down too. She then released our force now, claiming she was teaching my pack members how to give respect to supernatural council members.  She then asked my alpha how many wolves have you placed in cells over the years when tricking them off the sanctuary road, Alpha Joplin? He replied while still not knowing who she was, None of your business bitch. Then you all appeared. Is that what you wanted bitch?"

Before Goliath could move, she disappeared. Beta Thaddeus was on the ground holding his private area, screaming in pain. Then his head flew back, and his nose was pouring out blood. Next, you saw his hand move behind his back and force him up and push toward a fairy who caught him. Tianna reappeared in her average size and looked at the fairies, "Take them to the supernatural council lock up. Charges of attempting swindling on a sanctuary road. Bring back some more of our supernatural enforcers. Check the dungeons for anyone they could have imprisoned and look at their records. I am sure they got fake records for us to see, and the real records are hidden for their eyes only."

Goliath wrapped his arms around Tianna, "your temper is always hot to watch."

She grinned, "I remember when I used that trick on you." They smiled at each other.

The fairies grabbed a different wolf from Spring Meadow Pack and disappeared. Goliath then looked at Dave and Zane, "Congratulations on finding your mate. Why didn't Charlie tell me you found her?"

Zane looked at him, "we hadn't told him. We wanted to introduce her in person and arrange a formal induction ceremony where we invited everyone once we found who killed Mom, Dad, our brothers, and the guards. We thought, let us have a formal celebration with our pack."

Tianna is, "Oh my goodness, you guys don't know. Let's go into the trailer and plug in the anti-listening device I brought from your brother's camp."

Once they were inside, she plugged it in and turned it on. Goliath told them that their family members might not be dead. They were shocked. They explained they did not want word to get out until they had proof.

Zane said, "We still go to figure out who the others were in the murder or kidnapping. We have been stopped here for almost two hours. We need to get to the campground where we are meeting River Road and Summer Set Packs. We are already going to be late."

Tianna replied, "I will contact them about the delay. I will tell them the council delayed you, but now back on the original task."

They hugged Tianna and shook hands with Goliath, and hit the road while those two took care of the problem at that pack.

As they drove away, Cami said, "I am in love with your aunt. I am going to inspire you to mature and be like her."

Zane laughed and said, "Kick ass when someone does wrong." They then hit the road after Tianna and Goliath promised not to say anything about their mate.

When they arrived, they sat down for a barbecue meal. After the dinner, Zane and Dave sat down with Alpha Cedric Miles from River Road and Alpha Opus Connor from Summer Set Pack. "I know my brother informed you we were coming here to question you each about a person of interest that came up when investigating our parent's death." He handed him a wanted post.

Cedric held up his hand to motion for silence. He rubbed his face and looked at Opus. "Have him come here."

Opus' eyes glazed over. When they unglazed, he replied, "Alex will be here in a couple of minutes."

Cedric said, "You might not know this, but Opus is married to my sister, Trena. Plus, my aunt Candace married his uncle Chris. They had three pups. My uncle married and had three dogs too. Their oldest son is Caleb. Caleb and Alex look like twins. Caleb, about five years ago, had his mate die the day he met her. He came upon the car accident, and she died in his arms. While at the funeral, he met his mate's sister. They mourned her together. One night they were drinking and turned to each other, and he mated her. She became his chosen mate, and he was angry. He took his anger out on her, and she died. He was being transported to the Lycan Prison when he escaped. The only time we have people show up here is when Caleb has been sighted. We have to explain about Alex.

Just then, Alex walked up to them, and all he said was, "What has Caleb done now?"

Zane replied, "I know how it is to be mixed up with your look-a-like. It is hard seeing you and not wanting to attack you for being part of murdering my parents and younger brothers. We will make sure the wanted post is made to keep you safe. Let me send information to our base."

Alex said, "You mentioned not identifying all nine. I am willing to bet that Simon Casto is with him. They have always been partners in crimes. He has very dark reddish hair. He is 6'4" tall. Has blue eyes."

"Do you know his shoe size?"

Cedric replied, "Let me message his dad. I know he can check this. They boxed up his belongings. I can let you know soon.

Zane called Beth, "Ask our witness if he remembers the hair color of one of the unknown suspects.  If he does, we have the potential of another identity. Call me back with an answer. If he has the right answer, I will send information about this person of interest to Zeus."
