The truth about Counseling Center explosion...

It was 9:40. Jocelyn, Hutton, Scott, and Zander climbed into the back of their vehicle. Jocelyn had a class to teach from 8:00 to 9:30 at the Counseling Center. Their guard Tim was driving. The other three guards: Ace, Jack, and Tonya, were in the other vehicle. The boys were excited, talking about their afternoon activity with their parents.

"Dad, thank you for talking Mom into letting us go to the elves to learn how to throw knives and axes and shoot arrows like them." A couple of days before had been their birthday, and they had turned thirteen. The one gift they asked for was to have the elves teach them that skill.

Hutton replied, "your welcome. Besides, it will be fun to learn how they do it together with my boys."

Jocelyn laughed, "I think you're just as excited as them. When I was at the university taking their defense class, I could never get their bow and arrow as smooth and fast as them, but I learned to hit a target."

Hutton smirked, "You can't wait to be shooting again with them."

Jocelyn looked at him, "Get that smirk off your face. I will ensure the two or three of you don't injure yourself."

Scott snorted, "Yeah, right."

Zander laughed and gave a high-five to his brother. Just then, Tim slammed on the brakes when they were about ten miles from the counseling center they had spent the morning at. The car carrying the guards exploded in front of them. Their vehicle was filled with a foggy type of gas. Tim jumped out of the car and slammed the door. Hutton and Jocelyn tried to open their doors. The door would not open. They started beating on the windows to break them. But then they passed out.

Nine men appeared out of the woods. They stood on the shoulder of the road.

Tim looked at them, "I did what you asked. Now give me my pup."

One guy grabbed Tim, and the other stabbed him. He went limp in the one guy's arms. He quickly carried Tim to the car. He threw him into the driver's seat. He laughed, "We never had your pup." He walked back to where the others were standing.

Just then, a boy about 11 rode up on his bike. "Are you guys ok? I was riding my bike when I heard the explosion."

One guy who stood in the back of the other eight slipped into the woods. He walked up behind the pup and put a cloth over his mouth, and the dog passed out as he struggled to break free. The man who stabbed Tim said, "Put him on his bike and lean it up near the rear of the car."

He carried the boy and bike near the car. He did as instructed. Three guys walked over to the passenger side. They put masks on and pulled Jocelyn and her two pups out of the car. They left Hutton there. They put silver handcuffs on them.

Three other guys carrying rolled-up blankets went to the driver's side. They threw three bodies into the back of the car. They walked back to the shoulder.

The wolf who carried the boy and bike checked the car.
He ran over to where the group was walking into the tree line. As they walked into the tree line, the second car exploded. This whole exchange took less than two minutes.

They got to the nearby farmhouse they had been waiting at. They climbed into their vehicles with the three prisoners and drove away.

When Jocelyn woke up, she noticed her feet were chained to the wall. She had a silver collar around her neck. She saw she had silver cuff burns on her wrist, but they were no longer on her, but the scars were. She looked around the room. She hoarsely shouted, "Hutton? Scott? Zander?"

Zander replied, "Mom?"

"Where is your brother and dad?"

"Scott is still out. He is in a cage across from me. Haven't seen or heard Dad."

"What about Tim?"

Just then, a man walked in. Jocelyn looks at him, "Michael? How can that be? They said you died in the avalanche that Xavier started."

"Surprise, both Kyle and I made it out."

"Kyle is alive too?"

"Well, he was when I last saw him. We split up many years ago. He was not interested in the rouge life. He decided to go lone wolf. Last I heard, he was in the wilderness in Alaska. "

"How did you get your wolf back permanently?"

Our Moon Goddess, Celeste, has a sister named Selene, who helped save me and Kyle. The avalanche did not kill us. She brought us out and healed Kyle and me, but Style's neck was broken. She cannot bring someone who died back."

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Revenge, my dear. Let you know what it's like to lose a mate and pups."

"I will kill you before I let you kill my mate and pups."

He laughed, "Your mate is dead. I am going to turn your pups against you."  He said, "Put them with her tonight. Starting tomorrow, they will become mine. You took away my pups so that I will take away yours."  He starts snickering as he walks away, and two others grab the boys. That sound made Jocelyn fill with dread.

Just then, her two boys ran into her cage, and they wrapped their arms around her. She noticed they both had silver collars on also."
