AT THE CAMPGROUND

Yuri and Zeus look tired but are happy the following day. Their dad called them this morning and informed them about the onion prank.

Charles finished his coffee, "Yuri and Zeus, I am just going to run to meet Alpha Joseph Edwards Lupos the fourth at Eaglewood Pack."

Yuri laughed, "I hope he isn't as pompous as his name sounds."

Charles growled, "Stop. I expect respect to all alphas. While I am gone, set up an office area for Aiden and me to use in our trailer. Then start trying to organize these three boxes of photos and notes. Here is the credit card that I was given. Use it wisely. If you are unsure whether to buy it, check with Charles." He handed him a business card. "This tells you how to reach Charles. Here are my keys. Charles will keep g track of expenditures so there is no junk. Drive responsibly. Now I got to go so I am not late." He turns and runs into the woods.

Yuri said, "First, let's go look at his trailer. Get an idea of what we have room for. Last night everyone was informed to place everything they have gathered on his kitchen table."

Zeus says, "I am better at organizing than you. Why don't you figure out what desk and file size you need? Plus, get a laptop, printer/fax.  Since our cousin said to check with Charles, I think I will open up a group chat between the three of us.

Yuri replies, "That sounds like a great idea.  This way, if Charlie doesn't like something, we can state Charles approved it."

Zeus picks up his phone and text...

Hello, 👋
This is Zeus and Yuri. Alpha Charlie put us in charge of organizing the files from various sources they are investigating. He asked us for a desk, files, and other office items. He started for us to chat with you to approve said items.

I am sending a list of what Zuri will pick up while I start sorting everything into files.  Here is a list of what I am requesting he picks up:  desk, file, hanging file folders, regular file folders, staples, stapler, paper clips of various sizes, tape, at least three laptops: one for alpha, beta, and us to use for office work; plus the program if for it and printer.

Suggestions for a program to make it so we can do joint projects. Should we include a laptop for each trailer to share? Anything else?

Yuri, while shopping, if he sees something that looks useful, he will add it to this list for approval.

Zeus

"There it is sent. Please don't get another speeding ticket. The last one you got, I ended up in jail. Dad made me pay the fine and your tickets. The cop said he caught me getting into the car that zoomed past him the night before. He recognized me as the driver. We both know it was you the night before."

"Wrong place at the right time." He laughed when Zeus threw a pillow at him. "Ok, I will watch my speed. ."

"Get color files for the cabinet. This way, I can color code the files."

I linked everyone, "Hey everyone. It is Zeus and not Yuri. I am starting to sort everything. If you get any information you find out today; please text it to my phone. I will work to get it printed and into the files.  We are also picking up office supplies. If you need anything, text me your list within an hour. That is when Yuri will start shopping."

Charles responds,

get a laptop for each trailer. This one can be for SNAP business. Add a traveling wifi that you can plug into each trailer. They were told to pack their laptop. They can use that for personal business. I will send one of our IT guys there tonight to set it up and put security on them.

Yuri leaves, and Zeus starts to separate everything into piles. He picks up his phone and text...

Make 200 color folders in hanging folders and 100 Manila folders.
Get about 300 tabs to label them to stick up above the folders.

I discovered that under the couch, you lift for extra storage. We can place all office supplies there when not in use.

Charles, will we need to get any cables, or will your IT guy bring them with him.

Add a scanner. I want to scan files into the computer. We will have the information in an electronic file and a hard copy.

Charles responds

IT will bring what She thinks she will need. Once she accesses everything, she can run to grab what she doesn't have."

Yuri responds

At the store and starting to buy items.

While I was sorting, I heard my brother come back. I glanced over and saw he brought in bags of hanging folders, Manila folders, colored folders, paper clips of various sizes, pens, pencils, markers, stapler, scissors, tape, plus an organizer for supplies. "I need help bringing in the desk. Then I will assemble it."

"Where do we move the sofa?"

"Don't have to. When we slide the trailer extension in, we try to move the desk by the door I think will fit. If don't work, we set it on the couch when traveling. The sofa will be used as an office chair. The coffee table converts into a desk and file cabinet. I also got a program that the tv can be used like a monitor. They can put photos or documents up to be seen by others when needed."

Zeus states, "I got all but about 50 pages not sorted. I am not sure where they should go. I figured to ask Enforcer Conner since, most likely, he will do any prosecuting if it gets that far. I will tomorrow work on labeling files. My goal will be to work on scanning each paper into the computer. Then make a security share file. That way, we have a hard copy of the original, one on the computer and one on the share drive. I will lock it so that once shared, no one can remove or edit another person's file. They can only make suggestions or request something be added to the file. This way, I can print a hard copy for files and make sure their suggested items are filed correctly."

They walk out together and carry in the desk and file.  They work together to assemble the desk/coffee table and file system.

"It is almost 4:00 pm. How about we find out who will eat and make dinner for them."

Zeus replies, "I will link them. Oh, the IT girl. Izzie showed up. I placed her in the RV on Peter's side. I did let Charlie and Peter know. That we have a female guest tonight, Peter will sleep in Tyrone's other unused bunk.  This way, we have Warrior Phoebe in that RV as a female chaperone—some packs like single females to have chaperones. Charlie agreed. Now let me find out about the dinner arrangement. You can tell Izzie the computers are here. Charlie said that since we are family, we can call him Charlie, but in front of anyone not in the pack, we refer to him as alpha."

Yuri replied, "Whatever."

Zeus laughed, "he said you would say that. He stated one day, when we are alphas, we will understand."

Zeus' eyes cloud over. A few minutes later, he tells Yuri, "Trackers are not returning tonight. Benjamin said he is contacting his mate to tell her himself."  Eyes cloud over again, "Doc's group is going to do a run and hunt for their food. Their wolves need out." Cloud again, "Alpha and Warriors are heading back. Both said they would be back in about 45 minutes. Said don't bother cooking. We can do a run and hunt. Tell Izzie your back, and she can see what you got. Then work on setting up tomorrow."

Yuri salutes him mockingly and replies, "Yes, sir. He then turns around and leaves.

Zeus then sends a link to all, "warning all the papers are in neat piles laying all over the alpha and beta's trailer. Please be careful when in the main area. I have a box by the door of papers that still need to be sorted and filed. You can put papers in it that will need to be filed. Enforcer Conner when you get back. I have some papers not filed. I was not sure where to file them. I will work tomorrow on scanning what I have separated and filing in the file cabinet."
