COUNSELING CENTER (Phoebe, Dave, Zane, Kyle, Tyrone, and Peter)

Phoebe looked at Dave and Zane. Do you want to ride with me? My two guys will be going with Connor in your assigned vehicle?"

They looked at Benjamin, "Is it ok for us to ride with your mate?"

Phoebe growled, "he learned a long time ago work is work. He doesn't question unmated males with me. He knows I would kick their asses if they tried anything."

Benjamin put his arms around her, "they are just using proper wolf 101 etiquette. Thank you for asking, but she has answered your question." He then kissed her and climbed into his vehicle with the other trackers.

Dave looked at Phoebe, "Mom taught us always to ask the mate. It's just not because your female, either. She taught our sisters to do that too. Did not ask to offend you."

"I know mates can be defensive, and Ben and I have a unique relationship. All good. You coming with me?"

Both replied, "Sure will come." They both looked at each other and yelled, "SHOTGUN."

Phoebe laughed, "Oldest in the back seat on the way there. The youngest was in the back seat on the way back. No arguments. See, I had younger brothers, and that's how I handled them." They both climbed into the car.

Kyle, Tyrone, and Peter climbed into their car to follow Phoebe. When they got to the center, they were met by Councilor Cass and her mate, Elf Gowan. Plus, Councilor Mari and her mate, Sally. When Sally saw Dave and Zane, she hugged them, "I am so sorry for your losses. It is just so hard to believe they are gone." She grabbed a tissue from her pocket to dab her eyes. She stepped back into her mate's arms.

They cleared their throats, "Thanks, Sally."

Meri then threw her arms around them and just hugged them. She was sniffing, trying not to cry. She stepped back, "what exactly are you needing to do here?"

Dave spoke, "We have four unknowns. We are hoping someone here might know them.  We stopped on the way here and made copies for all of us to show around."

Meri said, "Let me see the photos."

"It is a sketch made by a witness." He hands it to her.

Meri looked at it and said, "Sally, number two does he look familiar to you?  I don't want to say his name to influence you." She hands the paper to him.

Zane replied, "Meri write down who you think it is. At the top of the page, list your name and contact information." He hands her a notebook and pen."

Sally looked at the photos. Dave said, "You write down who you think anyone might be."

Her face went pale, "Oh my lord, he is dead. That cannot be him.  Did Councilman Xavier have a son? Number four reminds me of him. He would have a grudge against both your parents. She got his dad kicked from the Supernatural Council, and I think it was your father or one of his friends who killed Councilmen Xavier on the day you were born when he attacked Juniper Pack.

Dave replied, "We grew up hearing stories of him. I will call Uncle Goliath and ask him. Mom or Dad never mentioned his mate or pups. Now who did you guys think number two is?

They both turned and showed the name and said, "Perceval Evans."

Zane asked, "Who is Percival Evans?"

Dave turned to the other warriors, "Take your photos and take notes. If someone identifies a photo or acts suspicious, get their name and contact info. Write down who they identify. We then can start to verify who they might be. Have two of you on each floor. We will start here on floor one. Phoebe and Kyle take floor two. Tyrone and Peter take floor three. Suppose you finish your floor link to say what floor you are heading to. Dismiss."

They took off toward the elevators. Mari said, "Why don't you two come to my office, and we will discuss it." They walked to her office. When they arrived, "Before we start, would you like a drink? I got water and soda in the fridge or hot coffee in the pot."

"No, thank you. Now why do you think person of interest two is Percival Evans?"

Percival's mate, MaryJane, was a patient here. She left here, refusing treatment, and later committed suicide. She found out she was pregnant and thought it was her rapist pup. Jocelyn tried to reach out to her since she had been in those shoes, and she refused. About a week later, after she refused treatment, she committed suicide. The doctor at her pack did the autopsy they discovered was Percival's.  He went crazy in grief. His alpha, Alpha Reed from Meadow Range, said he lost a great beta. He took off in despair. Until you showed the photo, I hadn't seen him in three or four years. We always hoped he would come here for counseling. But never did.

By the time they finished going to the last floor, it was 6:00 pm. They grabbed a bite and took all their notes with them to camp. They did not get back until 8:42 pm. They saw a tent set up with a table inside. They went there to merge their notes.

Patients and Staff gave names to them.

Tomorrow, some of us will head toward some of those packs to question them.  Others of us will go back and talk to Meri about those five patients who seemed scared when they saw photo three.

Phoebe said, "I would like to go back and talk to the center

Kyle said, "I can go with her. Then the four of you can take our car and camper. Dave and Kyle can use my room. I will use theirs. Then you guys could hit the road. It would take a few days to get around to the various packs. I am sure Alpha Charlie would approve this."
