Chapter 3
** a/n: Okay. It's Friday, to Home Fries, it's also known as TIM FOUST FRIDAY!! My favorite day of the week. Whichever book I update on Tim Foust Friday, I will ATTEMPT to do a double update on that particular book. Sometimes, it may not work out. But I will try.

The couple was so exhausted when they went to bed last night that they both went right to sleep the minute their heads hit the pillow.
Adam was ready for some early morning lovin' as he rolls over to snuggle with his husband. He slowly opens his eyes and frowns when he finds his lover gone.
"Oh, that's right." He says to himself as he remembers the plans they had made at the cafe. "D*mn you, Bob." He chuckles softly as he sits up in bed.
Slipping on a pair of jeans, he walks out of the bedroom into a quiet house. Was everyone gone? The blonde follows the smell of coffee into the kitchen. He finds Olena sitting at the table enjoying her coffee along with the peace and quiet.
"Good morning." She says softly as if she didn't want to disturb the silence.
"Has Tim and Austin already left?" Adam asks as he fixes himself a cup of coffee.
"Mmhmm, they left about thirty minutes ago." She answers as she gazes out the window at the early morning fog.
"Okay, good." Adam nods as he begins to dig around in the 'junk' drawer. "Do you know where the scissors are?"
"I think Austin carried them to the bathroom to trim his beard this morning." Olena answers as she continues to watch the fog slowly lift.
Adam sets his coffee down on the table and goes to retrieve the scissors. He comes back into the kitchen, lays the scissors down on the table in front of the dark-haired beauty and then sits down across from her with a silly grin on his face.
She looks down at the scissors then gives the grinning blonde a questionable look.
"I want you to cut my hair." Adam states.
"Oh, hell naw." Olena shakes her head as she pushes the scissors back across the table in front of him.
"Yeah, I do." He chuckles sliding the scissors back to her.
"Nope." The scissors are slid back across the table. "Listen, sweetie, I've seen Tim at his angriest. I am not going to have him release that cajun temper on me."
"No, it's okay." Adam laughs. "I asked Tim on our flight home yesterday if it was okay with him if I got it cut. Yeah, he was a little reluctant at first but then he told me that if I really wanted to that I could. And I really want to."
She glares at him for a minute before replying, "I swear, Adam Foust if he gets mad at me, I will totally tell him what you just said."
"Deal." Adam chuckles.
"Okay, go get me a towel and a comb." She says as she gets up and pulls a chair into the middle of the kitchen.
Adam jumps up from the table and runs to the bathroom. He was so excited to finally get rid of this hot, long, stringy mess.
"Sit." Olena orders as she unfolds the towel and puts it around his shoulders. "How short do you want it? Just a trim or a full hair cut."
"A full hair cut." Adam answers with a smile and a nod.
"You're gonna get me killed." Olena sighs, shaking her head.

"I really do appreciate the help, guys." Bob says as he pulls into his driveway hauling his boat full of gators. "When I get it processed, I'll give you some of the meat as payment."
"You don't have to do that." Tim smiles as he and Austin walk toward his truck.
"I'd never be able to eat all of this and it would end up going bad. Even after giving Hattie a bunch for the restaurant it would still be way too much for me." Bob says as he follows them to the truck.
"Okay, then. Sure." Tim shrugs before looking up at the darkening skies. "How bad are these storms suppose to be?"
"Severe. Heavy rain, wind, thunder and lightning." Bob says, looking up. "You know, the good stuff." He adds with a chuckle.
"Good stuff?" Austin asks with a laugh.
"Yeah, just enough to be exciting but not threatening like a hurricane." Bob replies.
"Good. Well, we're gonna get home before it starts." Tim says as he starts his truck.
"Thanks again." Bob says as he heads back to his truck to back the boatload of gators into the cooling shed.
"I really hope Olena has gone to get Bailey already." Austin says, looking out the windshield at the threatening clouds.
"Looks like she didn't have to." Tim replies as they pull into their drive and sees Jenika's truck.
"Thank God." Austin smiles. "Good ole Jenika."
Tim walks into the house. He sees their bedroom door closed but could hear voices coming from the kitchen. He was dying for something to drink so he heads to the kitchen.
He stops in the doorway and observes the scene before him. Jenika was sitting at the table with Bailey sitting on her lap. Olena stood frozen with the broom and dustpan in her hands. Both ladies had that 'deer in the headlights look' as they stare at him.
He lowers his eyes to the floor and his heart dropped to the pit of his stomach. In the floor was a pile of blonde hair.
"Oh, boy." Austin says in a worried tone as he sees Adam's hair on the floor.
"Uh.... he ... he said that you said it ... it was okay." Olena stutters as Tim walks slowly up to the pile of hair and squats down.
"Yeah, yeah I did." Tim says softly with a nod. "I just didn't think he'd actually do it." He reaches down and picks up a strand of the blonde hair. "Where is he?"
"He's in the bedroom. It really looks good, Tim." Jenika says. "He actually looks a bit younger."
The Cajun nods slightly as he turns to leave the room carrying the twig of hair with him.
"Oh, boy." Austin repeats as he shakes his head. Is the sh*t fixen to hit the fan?
Tim stops at the door to collect himself. Was he going to like it? Was he going to hate it and have to pretend to like it? He takes a deep calming breath as he reaches for the doorknob. He slowly opens the door.
Adam was sitting on their bed, finding great interest in his fingers. Upon hearing the creak of the bedroom door open, he looks up meeting his husband's eyes.
"Hi." Adam says softly with a nervous smile. He stands up as the cajun walks slowly into the room staring at him. The look on his face was totally unreadable.
The blonde's heart beat hard in his chest as he watches Tim eyeing his new look. Tim slowly reaches up and runs his fingers through what was left of his husband's hair.
Tim's heart beat hard in his chest as he ran his fingers through Adam's hair. He didn't think Adam could ever look sexier than he already was. But he was wrong.
"Say something, please." Adam pleads. "You hate it, don't you."
The brunette meets his husband's eyes once again. Seeing the fear in his eyes thinking he had messed up, broke the cajun's heart. He leans in and places a sweet kiss on Adam's lips.
"You are so f*cking sexy. I'm speechless." Tim whispers as he rests his forehead against his husband's. "I am so turned on right now."
Adam giggles as he slides his arms around his husband's neck.
Tim lays the twig of hair on the nightstand before recapturing his lover's lips into a passionate kiss.
A soft moan escapes from the blonde as Tim moves to nibble on his bare shoulder. Adam buries his face in his husband's neck. The strong smell of swamp suddenly reaches his senses. He had been so preoccupied with his worries of Tim not liking his hair cut that he had forgotten that Tim had been in the swamps all day. The smell was in his clothes and even in his hair.
"Uh...." Adam swallows hard as he gently pushes his lover back. "I really need to take a shower before we carry this any farther. I know I still have loose hair on me cause it's really beginning to itch." He smiles sweetly at the brunette and winks. "Care to join me?"
Tim squints his eyes as he looks at his husband, "Is this your polite way of telling me I stink?"
"I want to be made love to by my husband, not the Swamp Thing." Adam giggles.
