2. Class 1-A
A/N: I'll likely be going between different person depending on the scene, in the future;).
_____
You fiddled nervously with the hem of your skirt from outside the (oddly large) class doors. You didn't even have an idea as to why you were nervous! Especially after managing to slip past the onslaught of reporters who were too focused on other students to notice you. You waited for your cue while the idle chat of the classroom settled down as, Aizawa, the only UA attendee you knew so far, began to speak.
"We'll be having a new student join us today..."
You could damn well feel the surprise of the class, and frankly, you were still in disbelief yourself. UA High, the UA High. Your father had been...skeptical to say the least to let someone else than him teach you about your quirk, but after hearing of Endeavor's son attending, he seemed to have change his mind. You didn't know much about the kid aside from that he was powerful and refused to use his father's quirk.
"Woah a new girl!? I wonder if she's cute..?"
A certain boyish voice brought you out of your thoughts...and into genuine confusion. These were the kinds of kids in the Hero Course? But then again you couldn't say much as you yourself had gotten in through recommendation...from your own father at that...
It was a second later that Aizawa had called you into class, and you realized that this was your cue.
'No more anxious thoughts now Y/N...what's the worst a class of fifteen year olds could do anyway?'
You could feel all eyes on you as you stepped into the class, head held up high and expression tactful, at least. Whispers fluttered about the class, one in particular being caught by your ears.
"She is cute!" Little did the boy know, many of the class shared the same thought.
E/C eyes landed on who had "whispered" it, a blond haired boy with a black zig zag in his hair who was looking at you with wide eyes and an agape mouth.
You sighed through your nose. 'Perhaps training with Father would've been more efficient...'
Aizawa grunted, gaining the attention of the class. "Chikyū, you can introduce yourself or...whatever...you'll be sitting between Uraraka and Yaoyorozu for the remainder of this year."
You nodded, having no idea just who that. Although judging by the one empty seat in the class, you could make a good guess of where you were sitting.
You cleared your throat and straightened your posture. "My name is Y/N Chikyū and I'm glad to be joining your class this year." You said politely and ended with a slight bow towards the class, before heading to your desk.
'How formal!' The entire class thought, some sweat-dropping at your brief introduction...if you could even call it that.
You don't particularly like talking too much about yourself or quirk, as mosts first reactions are always: "Wow! Are you super powerful too?" or "What's it like having Mind Grip as a dad?" or something along those lines. It was honestly tiring to constantly be hounded just because of your father's influence on the Hero World, so you hoped that you could go unnoticed at least for the first semester.
Aizawa was about to get the class started, before noticing a hand up. He sighed, somehow sounding more tired than before as he answered, "Yes Iida?".
You followed the class' gaze to a boy with glasses and dark blue hair who was standing quite stiffly at his desk.
"Pardon me Mr. Aizawa! But why is it that Chikyū is starting class later than the rest of us!?"
'And I thought I was formal' you thought amusedly to yourself, a small smile quickly quirking at your lips. You didn't notice but some of your classmates caught the quick smile and found themselves agreeing with Kaminari's "whisper" from before even more.
Aizawa sighed again, "Chikyū simply had some other matters to attend to before the school year began, not to mention...she got in on a recommendation from a Pro Hero..."
'Damn you Aizawa!' You thought, feeling the shocked glares from your classmates on you again.
'Maybe they won't connect the dots..? Not many know my parents last names anyway' you hoped, oblivious to the gears turning in the mind of a certain fan-boy classmate of yours.
Class began as usual, the fascination of yourself blending to the new topic of results from the last assignment. Even though it didn't concern you, you still listened dutifully, gathering that Bakugo was the blonde spiky-haired kid and Midoriya was the plain looking one.
"Our first task will decide your future." Aizawa announced, causing you and your class members to sit up. Your eyes narrowed in suspicion. It was still too early into the year to make heavy quirk and hero related decisions, you thought.
"...You all need to pick a class representative..."
The class' previous anxiety melded into relief. You yourself relaxed some, glad that you wouldn't have to reveal your quirk today.
While all kinds of your classmates jumped up at the chance to be class rep, you watched attentively. Seeing as it was your first day you doubted you'd be chosen at all, and instead decided to watch from the sidelines. While doing so, you felt a tap on your shoulder and turned to your side to come face to face with a brown-haired girl with blush on her cheeks. Judging by her appearance, she seemed nice.
"Oh, just wanted to say hi, Chikyū-san, I'm Uraraka!" She cheerfully introduced herself, reminding you of sunshine. You nodded and offered her a polite smile back, "Thank you but...you can call me, Y/N, I prefer it actually." You preferred your first name rather than your family name to further avoid falling into your family's shadow.
Uraraka beamed at this, giving you a closed eye smile. 'Wow she's pretty..! And nice!'. "In that case you can call me Ochaco, Y/N!"
"Alright, Ochaco." You smiled politely once again, a beautiful sight. Catching your conversation, the black-haired girl next to you as well introduced herself. By this process, you as well introduced yourself to Sero, Kirishima, and the one who doesn't know how to whisper, Kaminari.
It was then that you noticed, Iida, was it..?, suggesting the class take a vote for class rep. "Is this always how Class 1-A runs..?" You mused to yourself, looking around the lively room. You sweat-dropped as your eyes landed on Aizawa napping in a yellow sleeping bag. "Guess so.."
You voted for Iida since he seemed to be the most...competent (if anything, over the top) of the bunch.
"One...vote..." He was muttering you himself as the class watched. You only sighed in response...In the end the class representative ended up being Midoriya, and the deputy being Yaoyorozu. You were happy for the other girl, but as for the other kid....-you looked at Midoriya who was shaking at the front of the class - you couldn't help but question whether or not he'd last.
'I wonder if I'd be a good rep?' You thought before the bell rung, signifying lunch. Ochaco, with Midoriya and Iida trailing behind her, skipped towards you.
"Want to sit with us at lunch, Y/N? Lunch-rush makes the best food!" The brown haired girl gushed as she tugged your arm. You went stiff, not being used to such contact, but didn't push the girl off.
Iida nodded, "It's true. Lunch-Rush is a pillar of strength here in UA." You felt that was a bit of a stretch, but didn't deny the claim. You agreed to Ochaco's offer and walked with her and the two boys towards the cafeteria, making idle chat with her as she threw questions about your first day at you. Feeling a pair of eye on your skin for what felt like the hundredth time that day, you decided to glance back at them, meeting the green irises of Midoriya. Said boy stiffened and went red, and began muttering something about a pretty girl looking at him. 'Huh. Weird kid'.
You ate lunch with the trio, answering Ochaco's bubbly questions with your own concise answers (she didn't seem to mind), sitting next to her and in front of Midoriya, who was voicing his worries of being class rep. You were truthfully zoning out at that point - although you did keep up with the conversation enough to overhear that Iida was, "filthy rich".
Then, the bell rung, you throwing away your trash as it happened.
"Warning. Level Three security breach."
A breach? At UA? You stopped and stood in place as the intercom droned on, a bad idea in retrospect. Soon enough, you were forced into the the crowd - or more so, riot - of students in the hallway, the trio you were previously with not in sight.
You grunted as someone elbowed your side. All this panic over a breach? Not to mention in a school as big as UA High you would think that between all of the exits there'd be more hallway room.
Being on the shorter side of things, you were crushed into someone's back. All was going relatively well until someone pushed you from behind as the line was moving and you were suddenly falling.
'How embarrassing' you swore in your head, preparing to hit tile face-first (as your arms were stuck to your sides) and get trampled by a pack of quirk-enhanced students. Feeling air fly past your face, you shut your eyes, awaiting a cold impact
Seconds passed, and you still hadn't been flattened. Confused, you opened your eyes and looked up find a pair of heterochromatic eyes looking back at you. You frowned in confusion before looking at your once elbow-pelted side and finding a hand - their hand - resting on it, above your waist, and their other holding your left hand. 'He saved me from getting trampled...'
"Are you alright?" The stranger asked, somehow unfazed by the crowd. He looked familiar...You nodded, lips parted in shock still. Your heart was beating loudly in your chest from the quick save. You were about to thank the dual-toned haired guy, before being interrupted by, well, Iida...on top of the doorway...
At least the mob calmed down.
When you got back to class, you realized that the "stranger" was a classmate of yours. How could you have forgotten? Especially with that two-toned hair of his.
Midoriya gave the title of Class Rep to Iida, who accepted it in his typical formal manner. Your first day had been...interesting, so far, to say the least.

"Today's training will be a little different..." Aizawa began, explaining today's rescue training.
You listened intently to his instructions.
"I'll finally get to show off how good I am
in the water. Ribbit." A green haired girl said. Ochaco looked at you, her hands clasped together excitedly.
"And we'll get to see your quirk, Y/N!" She beamed, once again, radiating sunshine in a way you'll never understand. Momo - as she insisted you call her - nodded. "Yes I look forward to seeing your strength, Y/N-San."
You gave the two girls a nervous closed-eye smile, "It's really not much..."
You were all shushed by Aizawa.

Costume Notes:
Your costume design is truthfully, up to you, but as for certain aspects your costume does have...
•a pair of combat boots with this metal soles (magnets, actually) to aid you in standing on your pillars.
•gloves (that at least cover your palms, guys) with the same magnet-like material woven into it to aid you with balancing on your own pillars, once again
•and most importantly, a pair of fairly-thick metal wrist cuffs that measure the power/size of the earth you're pulling. (Think Wonder Woman's bracelets). They have a bar with 5 levels from smallest to largest on the face of them (blue, green, yellow, orange, then red) to help you regulate the size of your earth. That is all. Have fun!
_____
You dressed into your costume and waited outside with the rest of your class. Seeing as this was the first time seeing your costume, many of your classmates eyes were on you. You were slowly getting used to this.
Ochaco was the first to say anything, as she ran up to you, stars in her eyes, and admired your costume. "Woahh, wow Y/N! Your costume looks so cool!". You politely thanked her, as some of the other girls came over and began appreciating it too. You made quickly and concisely spoke with them (and learned all their names in their process) while waiting for the bus.
"Can I ask about the cuffs on your wrist, Y/N?" Tsu, asked. You paused, not sure how to answer without revealing your quirk, but we're luckily interrupted by Iida's bus seating chart.
You all boarded the bus after, you sitting next to Kirishima, and watching the earth blur past from behind you. Well, that is until the topic of quirks came up.
"Well if any of our classmates have pro-quirks its Todoroki and Bakugo." Kirishima announced, grinning and showing off sharp, shark-like teeth, you noted.
"Yes but we're yet to see what Y/N has in store." Momo added. "Yeah, you never did tell us what your quirk is, did you Y/N..?" Ochaco peeped up.
The entire bus was looking at your expectantly now. You looked towards your lap, seemingly looking uninterested but truthfully trying to think of something to say to get them off your back. It was then, Midoriya spoke up.
"Wait a minute, Chikyū-"
"Y/N." You corrected him.
"R-right, right, Y/N." He stuttered, physically straining himself not to blush, "If Im not mistaken, you share the same last name as Mind Grip, right..?"
You nodded. The class fell silent.
"Wh-which doesn't mean anything, it could totally be-!" Midoriya began, waving his hands frantically as he began to spazz out, before being cut off by your calm voice.
"No, it's fine." You cut him off, looking up to face your class with a now serious look.
"My father is...Mind Grip..."
.
.
.
"YOUR DAD'S MIND GRIP!!??"
'That's what I just said...'
You nodded, "and as for my quirk..." you looked up, it seems that the class doesn't know of your mother's power, or rather, who she married.
"...you'll see..."
The class fell into a stunned silence...
"Uwah! Y/N is so cool..!" Ochaco gushed, changing the once tense atmosphere in a second and causing the majority of the bus to sweat-drop.
You smiled a bit to yourself, not even meaning to, this time. You could get used to this.
Unknown to you, a certain ash blond boy was glaring at you, red eyes narrowed as he wondered just who was this powerful newbie??
