"Lauryn, are you okay?" AJ asked when he saw my reaction when it was nearly our turn for the flying fish. I tried to be calm about this and even prepared myself for this beforehand pero parang nawala lahat ng preparations ko nung nakita ko yung nangyari kay kuya. Sobrang lakas ng paglipad nung inflatable sa tubig at muntik nang mapabitaw si kuya dahil doon. If something bad happened to him during his turn, I don't think I could ever forgive myself for that. This was my idea after all.

"H-ha? Y-yeah. I think so. I mean, yes. I'm okay?" Naguguluhan kong sagot kay AJ. He must have sensed that something was wrong so he held my hand tightly and talked to me seriously.

"Lauryn, if you're having second thoughts with this one, you know that we can always skip this, right? We can bond in some other ways, you know."

"Alam ko naman 'yon. But I suggested this activity. It would be a bummer if you don't get to try it out because of me."

"I'd rather not try it if it means I'll get to keep you safe from harm." Diretsong sagot ni AJ and I know I shouldn't feel giddy about it pero ewan ko ba. Parang kinilig pa rin ako na ewan dahil doon. Sasagot pa lang sana ako sa kanya nung biglang lumapit si kuya sa aming dalawa.

"Kat, okay ka lang ba? Namumutla ka!" Nag-aalalang tanong ni kuya pagkakita niya sa akin. Agad niya naman akong hinatak papunta sa pinakamalapit na upuan tapos pinabili niya ng tubig si AJ. Sobrang halata sa mukha ni kuya ang pag-aalala and I didn't have the courage to tell him the truth. The truth that I'm chickening out right now.

Kung bakit ba naman kasi puro ganito pa ang naisip kong gawin na bonding e? I mean, AJ's right. We can bond in some other ways naman pero ako 'tong si bida bida, nag-suggest ng mga bagay na alam kong hindi ko naman pala kaya.

When AJ arrived, inabot niya agad sa akin yung tubig na pinabili ni kuya. I tried opening the bottle but to no avail. Parang hinang hina ako na ewan. Kuya saw my struggles so kinuha niya na yung bote sa akin at binuksan 'yon.

"T-thank you..." Mahina kong sabi kay kuya. I slowly gulped down the contents of the water bottle and when I stopped drinking, nakita ko agad ang pag-iling ni kuya. Lagot na yata talaga ako nito.

"Kat, do you want to rest up for a bit? Punta tayo sa spa or anything that can make you relax?" Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko na magulat dahil sa sinabi ni kuya. As in like for reals? Silang dalawa ni AJ sa loob ng spa? Dude, I don't even know what to say. I can't even imagine them having a relaxing time inside the spa. 

Not that I'm being sexist or what. Sadyang wala lang kasi sa personality nila kuya na magyaya sa spa. They usually invite me sa arcade, go kart, food trip, road trip or whatsoever but definitely not a spa.

Nung hindi ko na kaya pang pigilan yung sarili ko na manahimik, I finally decided to say what I truly felt about kuya's suggestion.

"It's okay kuya. You don't have to force yourself to be locked up in a room sa spa. I can manage pa naman. Let's just try something else siguro." I told him then I tried to smile a bit to look convincing. Kaso, kabisado na ako ni kuya. He knows if my smile is fake or real. And with the smile that I just gave a while ago, halatang halatang fake 'yon.

"Kat, you do know that we're both willing to flip the world upside down just to make sure that you're okay right? Ano ba naman yung magkandapilipit yung katawan naming dalawa for thirty minutes kung masisiguro naman naming relaxed ka na at wala na sa katawan mo yung takot na naramdaman mo kanina?" Natawa na lang ako sa sinabi ni kuya. I could already imagine them groaning dahil sa massage na gagawin sa mga katawan nila. I could really use that time to have a good laugh but meh. I didn't want to be selfish naman. We could all do something together na relaxing but fun at the same time.

"Thank you for that, kuya and AJ but I'm really okay. Hanap na lang tayo ng ibang gagawin." I tried to convince them once again. I then felt AJ's hand on mine and he gave it a little squeeze. When I turned to face him, he was smiling at me.

"Mag-swimming na lang muna tayo, Liam. After that, we can try the other facilities sa resort." AJ said at wala nang ibang nagawa si kuya kung hindi umagree sa sinabi niya.

The rest of the day passed by in a blur. Puro mild activities na lang ang ginawa namin para hindi na maulit yung nangyari sa akin kanina. I felt like naging burden na ako kila kuya kasi ramdam kong gusto nilang mag-try ng something extreme pero dahil sa akin, hindi na nila magawa. Nakaka-guilty pero I tried not to let it show. I tried to enjoy every activity as much as I could. After all, ginawa naman natin 'to to bond e.

Nung malapit nang mag-sunset, niyaya ako nila kuya sa may beach front. May nakalatag nang mat doon at may naka-set na rin na bonfire. Kuya asked me to sit between him and AJ. Bago pa ako makapagtanong sa kanila, I immediately felt their hands on mine. Sa left si kuya tapos sa right namin si AJ. I couldn't help but smile because of that. Nakakatuwa kasi na kahit may aberya, okay pa rin kaming tatlo.

Then a thought suddenly popped in my mind.

"Kung may makakakita sa ating iba, baka akalaing two timer ako bigla. Kailangan ba talagang hawak niyo pareho yung kamay ko?" Natatawa kong tanong sa kanila. As expected, binatukan ako bigla ni kuya. AJ, on the other hand, was just laughing at us.

"Sira ulo ka talaga! Panira ka ng moment." Reklamo ni kuya sa akin.

"Ito naman. Hindi mabiro. Love you kuya!" Sagot ko sa kanya as I pulled him in for a hug. Akala ko, itutulak niya ako palayo pero nagulat ako nung bigla niyang higpitan yung pagkakayakap niya sa akin.

"Don't grow up too fast ha? Baka iwan mo ako bigla dahil pinagpalit mo na ako kay AJ." Bulong sa akin ni kuya at natawa ako dahil doon.

"Sira. Pareho lang tayo ng edad. Pag tumanda ako, tatanda ka rin. Mas matanda ka pa nga e."

"You know what I mean. But please keep in mind that I'm always here for you. Kahit na dumating na yung bunso natin, ikaw pa rin ang priority ko."

"Nako, kuya. Lagot ka kay bunso niyan. May favoritism ka pala." Panloloko ko sa kanya.

"He or she would understand naman. We're twins. Hindi na niya kayang makipagkompitensya sa'yo." Sagot naman niya sa akin then I just nodded my head in reply. After a while, binitawan niya na rin ako. I looked at the view in front of us and it was overwhelming. It was so perfect that it felt like nothing could ever go wrong again.

Bago pa tuluyang mawala ang sunset, I immediately pulled out my phone and asked a stranger to take our picture. When I checked the photos, it showed our silhouette while  looking at the sunset. I immediately smiled at how good it looked. Hindi na ako nag-atubiling i-upload 'yon with a caption saying "The best view with the best boys in the world."

Sana ganito na lang palagi.
