Movies (Chapter 2)~Garroth's Anger
Zane's POV
As our lips connect, thoughts run thru my head like an insane marathon.
Am I gay?
Is this fate?
Why do I feel sparks?
What is this!?
It's fear, confusion and love all mixed into one, and I'd be an alien if I said I didn't like it. Travis pulls back, the sparks disappearing. I pull my mask up quickly in attempt to hide the blush painted onto my face.
"It's not bad to be gay." Travis smiles at me.
His teeth are pearly white. A small smile erupts under my mask, but nobody can see it, "W-Well... You should be going home, it's getting late." I glance at the clock. 10:59PM.
A smirk paints onto Travis' face, "Why don't I just stay here?" Travis gets closer and wraps his arm around my shoulder. I try to shrug it off, but he doesn't let me, "Pleeasee?" Travis begs.
I sigh, "Fine." I glance at the clock once more. 11:01PM.
A faint "Yay" Escapes from Travis' mouth as he runs over to the couch and hops onto it. I run over to him, sitting down at his side.
Travis grabs the remote, "So... What do you want to watch?" I ask as he looks through Netflix.
Travis stops scrolling immediately, "Who said anything about watching TV?" Travis wraps his arm around me once again.
The familiar blush appears on my face once again, "And take that mask off for once, I don't see why you keep it on." Travis starts to take the mask off from my shirt (It's buttoned on).
A scar lines down my chin, that being the reason why I hide the bottom portion of my face (a/n: heyyy,, i've gotten corrected on what's beneath Zane's mask before lol. this was written before aphmau/jess revealed why zane had his mask bc this book is kind of old & outdated lmao). An idea seems to pop into Travis' head as he leans closer to me and kisses my chin, where the scar is.
"Why'd you do that?" I ask as he pulls back.
"Making it feel better. A little love makes anything feel better." Travis gives me a genuine smile, not flirting at the moment.
A small blush tints onto my cheeks. Travis then pulls the hair over my eye behind my ear. That's eye's slightly paler due to me being blind in that eye.
"Are you really blind?" Travis asks
"In that eye, yes. Blame it on a snow fight with Garroth and Vylad back in O'khasis." I muster a smile.
I decide to not go into detail. Travis seems to notice that, and doesn't ask further questions, "Even with the scar and blind eye, you're handsome. To me at least." Travis smiles, but he looks like he's going to continue, "I love you, Zane." Travis confesses.
I look at Travis, lovestruck. "W-What?" I stutter, stumbling upon my words. A blush is on both of our faces, "Are my ears lying to me?" I question, not expecting an answer.
"No, no they're not." Travis smiles.
I knew what he said, but I didn't know if it was a dream or reality. My blush grows deeper, knowing it was definitely reality.
"I-I love you too, Travis." I confess. Travis smiles. He starts to lean in. As our lips are centimeters apart, someone bursts through the door.
"TRAVIS, DON'T GET TOUCH WITH MY BABY BRO, YOU PERV!" Garroth yells.
Travis and I pull back as quickly as a spinning tornado, "S-Sorry, G-Garroth!" Travis stutters. Garroth storms over to Travis and I, grabs Travis by the hoodie of his jacket, then yanks him off of the furniture, "Garroth, let go of me!" Travis exclaims as he squirms around, his feet not touching the floor.
"Garroth!" I exclaim.
The sound of a rip enters my ears, "GARROTH, YOU'RE RIPPING MY HOOD!" Travis yells.
Travis flails his limbs in the air, "GARROTH, LET GO." I growl.
Garroth glances at me and realizes that my mask is down and that my hair is behind my ear. Garroth's jaw drops as he releases Travis' hood. Travis falls to the ground with an 'Oof!'.
"You really love him... Don't you?" Garroth seems to be in total awe. I nod my head, "But, what about what dad said--" Garroth starts.
"I don't care about what dad said. I'll love who I want to love and he won't stop me." I interrupt Garroth in a stern tone. I get up from the couch, throwing hair over my eye once again, "Leave, Garroth." I command, pointing to the door, "The door's over there. March over there and leave." I growl. Garroth stares at the scar on my chin, "I know. It's amazing... Now leave!" I raise my voice at the end, it having a slight echo.
Garroth's eyes trail up to mine, "F-Fine." Garroth looks at me, then at Travis.
This doesn't last for long before he runs out. Once Garroth slams the door behind him, I rush over to Travis and help him up. Travis stumbles upon his own feet for a second. He points his index finger at the door, it shaking slightly.
"Y-Yea! You better run!" Travis sounds slightly loopy as his hair is messy.
I guess that fall really took a number on him... I grab Travis' hand and drag him to the guest room. I push him onto the bed lightly, pulling the covers over him. Travis' eyes are heavy, signalling his sleepiness. I smile softly as I plant a small kiss on his forehead.
"Night, Zane." Travis sounds normal, yet sleepy.
"Night." My smile grows.
I then walk out of the room, closing the door behind me. I walk into my room and change into my PJs (Not to mention that they're Pinkie Cake PJs. Shh! Don't tell anyone), then climb into bed. After I close my eyes, I quickly slip into a deep sleep.
