Ok before I outright say my problems with this movie I have to acknowledge the phoenix in the room.

• This movies CGI is beautiful. I love the fairy realm or whatever the land was called.

• Maleficent is a awkward bean that needs to be protected at all costs.

• The 3D experience wasn't awful

• Angelina Jolie

• My cousins cried when Maleficent 'died' honestly I was glad this movie was in English and the subtitles were too quick for them to read or else they might have caught on that foreshadowing.

Now this was all the positive I could give.

DISNEY HOW DARE YOU PUT GENOCIDE WITHIN THE MOVIE AND END IT WITH A FRICKING WEDDING?!

It's not like I just saw those fairy creatures die and Maleficents kind vaporise.

If this movie would be R rated it would be a freaking massacre, but nooooooo

Somehow blood is replaced with water and it's okay. PG-13 kids.

This movie had hard core war and in middle of everything, of the bloody/watery warzone when our dear Maleficent turns back from Phoenix to herself....

After everything that happened....

Literally seconds after the war....

They decide to have a wedding!

No it actually happened. Somehow the creatures are OK with humans who literally minutes ago wanted and would have murdered them.

Since when do they trust humans? And vice versa?

They were killing each other just moments before, is this how you make friendships in this world?

And why did Aurora defend the Queen in the third act? She had a understandable reason in the first act, but the second time I was like ???????

Why?

Let her die, she just started genocide for Gods sake!

Also from filmmaking standpoint.

I know it's a matter of taste, but who liked the many zoom in faces? I get it that they're pretty people, but I was watching in 3D!

Even watching it regularly I was very confused why the camera stayed on their zoom in face for this long and so, so many times....

Another thing - what's with the misleading title of the movie?

Just why?

Mistress of Evil sounds nice, but the Queen is mistress of Evil, not Maleficent.
