We sat around the fire we made and talked quietly while making hotdogs. "This is so cool. I am willing to bet that we wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for you Joanne", Myst whispered.

    I felt my cheeks heat up as the others agreed. "Myst is right. I know I definetly wouldn't be here if you hadn't brought it up," Anthony said with a small smile.

    "You guys," I began with a big smile on my face, tearng up slightly,"It wasn't just me. It was all of us. If we hadn't been friends, none of this would be happening."

    Myst was crying lightly as Gabriella and Bruno gave her tight hugs.  "You know Mrs.Brans is part of the reason for this to right?" Anthony asked.

    He looked around and sighed. "She practically set us up to be friedns in kindergarten remember?", he said with a small smile.

    We all laughed at that. It was true. She made us all sit next to each other in class, lunch time and snack time. Looking back on it, it was pretty funny. "That was hilarious. Do you remember how much we hated it back then?", Bruno asked.

    We nodded and laughed. "Hello?" a smooth voice said.

    We all looked to where it came from. Standing there was a handsome man. He was tall with black hair. "Hi!" Gabriella chirped excitetly. 

    He chuckled slightly before coming closer to us. "Nice to know I showed up at the right place. I think. Are you guys the five teens who rented the cabin at the top of the mountain?" he asked.

    "Cabin 1316?" Bruno asked suspicially. 

    "That's the one", the man replied with a huge smile.

    "That would be us then," I replied calmly. 

    "Joanne!" Myst shrieked, " You can't just tell random people who we are!"

    We all looked at her surprised. That was the loudest we have ever heard her. "Calm down momma," Anthony told her, patting her on the shoulder.

     I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I'm sorry. I should have introduced myself. I'm Mason. I'm your guide", the man said.

    Bruno frowned. "Guide? We have a guide?" he asked looking at me.

    Everyone looked at me, waiting for an answer. I take a deep breath before speaking. "The website might have said something about a guide," I said, rubbing my arm.

    We all sat in silence for a whil, everyone still looking at me. "Well, What did it say?' Bruno asked, obviously annoyed.

    I sighed again. "It gave me a choice to choose if we have a guide or not", I told them.

    "So you picked having a guide?", he asked, rolling his eyes.

    "I didn't mean to!" I said defensivly, "I thought I picked no guide"

    Eveyone groaned except for Myst. I felt bad, even with the hug from Myst. I smailed at her when she pulled away, and was greeted with a bright smile in return. I loved Myst like a sister. She was so unerstanding and sweet. "It's fine. We can live with a guide," she told me quietly.

    "Thanks Myst," I replied, calming down a bit. 

    "I'm willing to bet that none of you are really Ok with a change in plans," Mason said, making me jump.

    Holy crap, I forgot he was there. "You got that right," Bruno said grumpily, "Change in plans stink"

    I stared at him in disbelief. I couldn't believe how rude he was being.  Mason just chickled. "Young man," he started, "I don't think you realize what an amzing oppritunity you have"

    "Change is not an oppritunity," Bruno said, "It's dangerous and dumb"

    Mason's face grew stern. "Change is beautiful. Even when it hurts us the most, change will turn us into the person we want to become the most," he said smoothly.

    Chills went up my spine and my eyes widened.  What he said was so inspirational, but so chilling. It was crazy.  What was going to happen next? We would have to find out.
