       I woke up the next morning in a bad mood. "Good morning sleeping beauty" Nico said as he woke up.

       "Don't talk to me," I said grumpily before stomping out of my room.

       I heard him mutter an "uh oh" as he followed behind me. He anxiously pushed past me and ran down the stairs. I already knew what he was going to go do before he had even started descending the stairs. When I walked into the kitchen, Nico and dad were eating waffles and sausage with orange juice and milk. "I called your school. You don't have to go for the rest of the week if you can't handle it," my dad said as he took another bite of his waffles.

       I nodded and headed back to my room. I laid down on my bed and fell into a dreamless sleep. When I woke up, it was three in the afternoon. I checked my phone to see that I had missed calls and texts from both Anthony and Gabriella. I'll text them back later, I thought to myself as I got out of my bed. I went downstairs and sat next to my dad on the couch. "Look who's finally awake," he teased.

       I rolled my eyes before curling up on the couch. "Can we watch Moana?" I asked looking up at him.

       "Of course we can," he replied, getting up slowly.

       He walked over to where our movies were and pulled out the Moana CD. When he finally put the CD in, he sat down on the couch and pulled me onto his lap.        "Why didn't you tell me?" he bellowed.

        he calmed down and sighed. "Don't cry. I'm just upset that you didn't say anything when it happened," he said.

       I nodded and wiped my tears. He carried me into the bathroom and started a bath for me. Once it was ready, he helped me get before going to go pick out my clothes and wash my bedding. I knew that he was already at work since he didn't stay in my room. I laid back on my bed and fell back asleep. What I didn't know, was that I'd wake up to have the worst day in my entire, pathetic little life.
