Chapter five
Previously:
(Y/n) ran over to me. "He's weird." She whispered to me.
"Da."
----
"S-so B-belarus, w-what are you doing here?" Lithuania asked me, terrified.
Coward...
"That is none of the beeswax for you to know..." I replied, my grip on (Y/n)'s hand tightened softly.
Why do I feel so protective of her? I've never felt this way with anyone except big brother!
"Uh like, Natasha. Hello!" Poland said, trying to get my attention as he waved his hand in front of my face.
"What?" I asked sternly.
"I was like, totally wondering. Like, where did you get a kid? I thought you said you like, hated kids?"
(Y/n) was looking at the ground, "That is once again none of your concern. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to like, totally be on my way." I spat, mocking his accent, Poland blocked my way again.
If it weren't for the cops standing a few feet away, I'd beat the living sh*t out of him...
"Is that like, what your going to let your kid walk around in?!" He said pointing to the dress (Y/n) was wearing.
"Yes, why do you care?"
Poland looked like he was about to scream in horror; "like, NO! You can't let her walk around in that! Like, I swear, you know nothing about fashion."
I scowled, my eyebrows twitching.
"You need some serious help, common, like. We're totally going shopping!"
Both Lithuania and I were about to protest, but then (Y/n) spoke up.
"Shopping with Mr. Poland sounds fun! Can we go mommy?" She stared up at me with soft puppy eyes; I blushed, not able to look away, from those... Cute, wide, nyet! Stop it!
I must not fall for the cuteness! Ugh, it's just like America...
I sighed, looking up at Poland with a hard glare.
"Very well, but if you dare touch her I swear Poland, I will-" I didn't even get to finish because Poland squealed in excitement, grabbing Lithuania and my own hand, dragging us to some stupid kids store. (Y/n) giggled and ran with us.
"Ok, so like. First off we have to do something about that hideous outfit." He began, (Y/n) pouted. "But I like this dress... Mom gave it to me..."
"Oh god, It's worse then I thought... Don't worry (Y/n), we'll like. Find you something even better. Liet, let's go!" Poland said, dragging us off once again.
I'll have to remind myself to both kill, and thank Poland after this...
We did some of the browsing through the cloths. By the end of it we pretty much had a cart full of clothing...
"Like, oh my god! This dress, it's like PERFECT!" Poland said, holding up a pretty white dress, it had jeweled flowers all along the edge, and an embroidered collar.
It had sleeves that went down to the elbow; and had frills on the ends of the sleeves, as well as the bottom of the dress, both were black, along with a ribbon that went around the waist and tied in the back. From the neck of the dress down there was this almost corset like laced up piece that went down to the ribbon, the dress split into two layers from there, both having black trim.
"It's like so pretty!" (Y/n) said.
"Don't start talking like him." I told her with a sigh.
"Like, this would totally look adorable on her!"
"It's like a princess dress." Lithuania commented.
"Can I get it mom?!" (Y/n) asked excitedly.
I sighed, "very well... It is rather nice." I admitted, causing both her and Poland to cheer.
"Now let's like, get some shoes and stuff to match!"
Oh hell no...
I followed them over to the shoe section. "Nope, nope nope, nope, ew! No! Nope, never in a million years..." Poland listed off as we walked down the shoe isle.
"Eh, nope, no. Yes!" He yelled, grabbing a box of shoes in (Y/n)'s size. They were black Mary janes, with a little silver jewel flower on the end of the velcro strap.
"They're like yours mom." (Y/n) said with a smile.
"Da, I suppose they do." I said, looking down at the little girl.
"Lets get some tights to match!" Poland said before running off again.
I sighed, this was going to be a long day...
--timeskip.--
I walked out of the store with a couple of bags in hand.
Remind me to never go shopping with Poland, ever again.
Noted.
"Ok, so now we have to like, take her to get a hair cut." Poland said; I glared at him "why? Her hair is fine."
"It's all messy and weird. She's like, getting a hair cut!" Poland said, (Y/n) yawned. "Mom, I'm tired..." She mumbled adorably, rubbing her eyes.
"It's time to take (Y/n) home." I said, Poland frowned.
"Fine, but your totally like, letting me kidnap her again later! Bye (Y/n), let's go liet!" He said before running off with Lithuania.
I sighed, looking down at (Y/n) who yawned.
"Ready to go home?" I asked her, she nodded, both of us heading out of the mall.
--Time skip.--
The ride back was rather quiet, but pleasant. (Y/n) fell asleep in the backseat of the car.
I sighed softly, carrying her in and taking her upstairs to her bed, and laying her down, I the covers the covers over her, and went back downstairs to grab the rest of the bags, bringing them in before locking the car and closing the front door.
Heavy rain poured down as I sat on the couch knitting, my phone rang.
Great, who is it this time? I wondered. It was Germany.
"Priviet." I greeted, putting the phone up to my ear.
"Ja, Hallo. I was just calling to remind you that the world meeting is tomorrow. Be sure to come on time, it starts at 5AM."
Shit, I completely forgot!
"Da. I'll be there."
"Good. I'll count on that." He said before hanging up.
"What am I going to do? I can't bring (Y/n), she's not a country..." I muttered. There aren't any countries I could ask to baby sit either...
"Great... Just great..." I muttered.
-Meanwhile.-
Mr. Bunny lay on one of the benches at the ball, they had forgotten the stuffed animal.
