Nothing cuts like a mother.
Mother Cut 𓃦 Fire and Blood & House of the Dragon
In the early hours of the morning in 107 AC, the fourteen-year-old Alicent Hightower gave birth to her first set of children. Trapped inside the birthing chambers since the late hours of the previous night, screaming like she was a lamb brought to slaughter and through night filled with agony, sweat, tears and blood, Aegon and Baelor were born. Aegon – born weak, small and quiet voice – was the contrast to his few minutes younger brother. Baelor was born stronger, louder, better.
Though Baelor inherited his mother's Hightower hair and smile, he was a Targaryen in every other aspect – not only in the form of lilac eye colour, he was born to be a warrior; spending the majority of his youth training with Ser Criston Cole, filling his mind with any sort of knowledge of his House he could grasp and nurturing the history of his ancestors.
Above all, Baelor was a dutiful son – never misbehaved in front of his parents, never embarrassed the Realm, never stepped out of line, was never Aegon. Of course, they didn't realize just how similar the twins were at the time. And as the dutiful son, he was oath to marry whichever girl he had to keep the Valyrian blood strong. Growing up, he always thought his mother will one day betroth her to Helaena; he wanted to believe their mother was not stupid enough to allow the sweet, innocent Helaena end in the grasp of a man like Aegon. But he was wrong. When Baelor turned fourteen, Lord Jason Lannister arrived at Red Keep, accompanied with his first and only child Genna. Queen Alicent and King Viserys I. betrothed their second born Baelor to the Heir of House Lannister.
Despite his every dying wish to not be Aegon, Baelor was his replica – finding comfort in the dead of the nigh inside whichever pleasure house he could grasp, Dornish red in every cup he held, he couldn't even keep his hands off his younger brother's Aemond's wife (in his defence – in his own words – he knew Myna before Aemond did. He wondered if he knew she was a whore in one of the pleasure houses before. He wondered if he knew he fucked her every night).
But peace was never an option in the always divided House of the Dragon.

hi hello & welcome to my beloved mother cut !!! this book has been a work in progress for the longest time so i'm really happy to see you here !! :,)
this layout was made by the amazing @besvimelse!! go show them all the love!! <33
baelor is NOT a good person!! he's an abusive asshole who believes to be superior to everyone and everything! i can't believe i have to even state this because i've seen a lot of people being attacked over this - i do not condone what my characters do or say. they are a work of fiction and do not show my values and belief!
this is a hybrid version of fire and blood & house of the dragon !! while i do believe they made some good decision storytelling wise for the show, i also think some things were much better in the book (which is like 90% of things i'm so sorry but i'm this show's #1 hater LMAO) so it goes both ways tbh!!
thank you for coming here & i hope you enjoy !! don't be a silent reader :,)
