"You can hear them right?"

The lights of the room flickered. Night had arrived already and his nightmare was about to begin.

He tightend his hold on the sheets as if his life depended on it.

Those screams, those horrified faces of his friends, him running in the corridors to escape that horrible incident were all lingering in his mind. He had begun to believe that he was going insane slowly but steadily.

"Come on jaehyun, you are such a scaredy cat." one of his friends mocked him followed by the laughter of all other students.

"I'm not a scaredy cat." he yelled only to get laughed at again.

"Then why are you not coming with us." another boy asked, with an amusing expression on his face.

"Ok I'll come." he said and stood up to leave the classroom.

"That's my boy." one of his other so called friend yelled from behind him.

He agreed because he didn't want to get bullied anymore. He was like the other boys too then why was he so weak? Why couldn't he face everything like the others? He kept asking himself, not knowing the answers....

"Let's go jaehyun." a boy said excitedly and held his hand to drag him further.

"Isn't it too much guys, I mean don't you think we should just leave?" said jaehyun, his face getting terrified every passing second.

"Jae is being the weak boy he is again. Let's leave him here, all of us already know he won't be able to face anything." said another friend of him as they all mocked him once again.

The one holding his hand turned around as if to ask if he wanted them to leave him there or not.

"I'm coming with you guys." he gulped the newly formed lump in his throat.

"Ok then let's not waste anymore time."

That was the worst mistake he had committed his whole life.

He got dragged by his friends to that place where his nightmare had begun in the first place.

Just a few seconds later, an old and creepy looking building was in the view. The surroundings were not any less either. Wild animals growling in the surroundings were making it worse than it already was.

Jaehyun clutched onto his friend's sleeve for dear life. He wanted to leave but he also wanted to prove that he was not weak and he can fight his fears like the others too.

"Is baby Jae getting scared already." the guy named Sameul said and the other four present there laughed at his comment.

Jaehyun just looked down and left the boy's sleeve which he had been holding till now.

All five of them went towards the entrance and seconds after the door creaking sound could be heard.

The inside of the building was creepier than he had ever imagined. There were stairs in sight that seemed never ending to him.

"Let's go Jae." Sameul held his hand and began to drag him upstairs followed by the others.

They began to climb the stairs and jaehyun's breath hitched every passing step.

After what felt like years, they finally reached upstairs, separating into two groups afterwards. Sameul and Kevin dragged him in the opposite direction of the other two.

Minutes after, they came across one of the rooms and Sameul being the fearless being he was, opened the door only to get knocked out then and there.

He was hit with a metallic object on his head only a second after opening the door and that resulted in him fainting then and there.

Jaehyun's eyes widened. His whole body began to shiver.

"K-kevin what h-happened to Sameul." he stuttered and turned in Kevin's direction only to gasp at the sight Infront of him.

Kevin was lying on the floor and a pool of blood was surrounding him. He was stabbed so badly that jaehyun was not even able to stamer a single word at the sight.

He backed away a little and covered his mouth with his hands, horror visible in his eyes.

"K-kevin, S-sameul..." he muttered and was about to move forward but was dragged backwards by a sudden force.

"B-ben, N-nick Help please...." he shouted his other friends names.

After minutes of trying to get free from that invisible force, he finally stumbled abit forward as if the force had now let go of him.

He ran and ran never looking back in the direction of the bodies of his now dead friends lying on the bloody floor.

"Nick, Ben...." he shouted his lungs out but no response was heard.

After minutes of shouting, he gave up and was about to take a step forward when he saw Nick passing by past him in that dark and creepy corridor.

"Nick, you're here. You know what happened to Sameul and...." he wasn't able to complete his sentence because Nick had already exited the corridor.

Jaehyun ran behind him but as soon as he exited the corridor, his eyes went wide at the sight of Nick lying lifeless on the floor.

His body was in more vulnerable state than the other two. Unable to control his emotions, he screamed his lungs out.

He wasn't able to believe anything that had happened. His friends weren't with him anymore. He wanted it to be a nightmare so bad, but he wasn't sure of anything at the moment. Now his only hope was Ben...

He hurriedly backed away from there and began to search for Ben.

"Jae, my friend what are you doing there. Come, let's explore this place." Ben's voice came from behind him all of a sudden, startling him.

He turned around but no one was there.

"Ben, where are you? Ben...."

"I'm here my friend. Here." his voice sounded more distant this time.

Jaehyun unconsciously began to follow the voice only to end up Infront of the same door where Sameul and Kevin had died miserably.

But their dead bodies weren't there anymore. There was not even a hint of blood there. It felt like nothing had ever happened there.

In between the chaos happening within him, he spotted Ben standing inside the dark room.

"Come here Jae, Show everyone that you are not weak." Ben's voice was laced with comfort.

Jaehyun was drowning in that honey like voice and when he came out of his trance, he was already standing inside the room but there was no sign of Ben.....
