Epypolla's POV

Hey, my name is Epypolla and I'm from Kansas, I'm 15 years old and I currently go to Outback High. I'm very particular, I always wear my classic blue zip-up hoodie, my red t-shirt and jeans. When I was 5, I lost an eye from an abusive mother so my eye is covered by an eye patch. I have bright blue eyes and long blonde hair. I would say I'm smart, but I don't like to brag, I'm in all the AP classes in school and I HATE  being called a dumb blonde! 

I think I've said enough about me, so I'll tell you about my boyfriend Artinno, he has messy black hair and mesmerising brown eyes, he's very kind and popular, but not cocky and arrogant like all the other popular kids, he loves the colour black too! 

I love Outback High School, but the only thing me and Artinno absolutely hate is Emily, the 'Queen Bee', who is always asking Artinno out, it has become a daily routine and she gets so angry and frustrated when he rejects her, that it's fun to watch! Artinno and I also have a good friend named Percy Jackson. Percy is friendly but also extremely mysterious, it's as if he's hiding something. Artinno and I always talk about it but we just can't figure it out, it doesn't change anything though, we hang out with him a lot, but sometimes he goes to this 'camp' that we know absolutely nothing about because he goes all quiet when we mention it! 

The day we met Percy, Emily had just walked over and tried to kiss Artinno. Artinno moved his hands out to push her away, but Percy got there first and stepped between them, Emily then spotted Percy and hasn't left him alone either ever since that day! I just don't know what gets into that girls head sometimes!

1 month later. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 

Emily is still going after Percy and Artinno, it was hilarious before but now its just tiring, its the same thing every single day, when will she ever get the message! Anyway, were sitting in lunch when I hear Percy groan, "Not Again!" He jumps out, runs to the music room and while he's running he pulls a pen out of his pocket. Me and Artinno shrug and follow him to see whats going on, we peer through the door and Artinno gasps and I shriek, standing fighting against Percy are these . . . . . .creatures! They are like nothing I've ever seen before, with mismatched bodies and a scowl/sneer plastered on both their faces. Percy fights them off without breaking a sweat, soon they are piles of gold dust. While I keep looking at Artinno trying to tell if Im crazy or not and pinching myself to see if Im dreaming, I find my bearings and storm into the room. Percy turns to see us and try to act casual, "Oh, Uh Hey guys!" "HEY GUYS!" Me and Artinno exclaim, "After that, all we get is a 'hey guys'!" I continue. Percy narrows his eyes and says, "You saw that!" Artinno and I both nod ferociously, the next few minutes are a rush. Percy tells us urgently to call our parents and makes us walk cautiously from school to the car park and get in. Our parents somehow understand what he's trying to say and tell us that we do need to get in the car. We agree and within 5 minutes, we're out of sight of school. 

Then we start piling Percy with questions! He tells us all about the Greek Gods and Demigods and how we're demigods as he had suspected in the past. He names them all even though, somehow, I believe him immediately, so is Artinno. I'm pretty we both thought something was up for a while now, just as long as my mom knew I was gone, then that was okay. I know I said I had an abusive mother, but then I got adopted by a kind, caring, loving person and I've been so happy there. I call her my mom and I would say she is my mom because she has raised me basically most of my life!

As we arrive in Long Island Sound, Percy points to the camp borders and we head up the hill. I walk in and as soon as Artinno enters, a weird glowing symbol appears above his forehead, Percy mutters, "Son Of Nyx." We hear a sound like a horse trotting and then a centaur comes into view, "Hello, I'm Chiron!" He tells us all about Camp Half Blood and when he's done I get a weird feeling, like something has surrounded me. Chiron says, "Daughter of Apollo." And Artinno smiles and says, "You know what they say, opposites attract!"
