Heeeey guys I'm back I'm so sorry I haven't been updating at all . So here's a chapter for you guys!

Marks POV

    "9-6 + 462 -7 divided by 3 + 63 - 82 x 56 divided by 6.4" The Teacher from my competing team asked the question. Annabeth had hit her beautiful delicate hand hit the buzzer before the opposing guy could hit his.

" 1,169.58333" she replied quick as lightning. (I did that on a cauculator)

        I came to watch Annabeth in the mathletes competition. I had finally worked up the nerve to ask her out everything about her was just perfect and amazing. Her stormy gray eyes and blonde curls. Her pink lips I wished to kiss so badly.

     Yes. Tonight would be the night I asked her out. I just knew she'd say yes. I'm her Best Friend and know literally everything about her.

     Are school would obviously win because of her and she'd be so happy then come running to my arms and I will spin her around like in th movies then pull her down and we'd kiss!

    Then to celebrate Annabeth and I would go to Dairy Queen and make it publicly official that we are dating.!

During all my day dreaming I seemed to zone out. Because there was cheering and the contest was over. My little Annie -don't tell her I called her that she'd kill me- grinned as she looked at me.

Her eyes went wide, lit with love, after I smiled back and gave her to thumbs up....

Then she turned her head and ran forward.

I looked to sea where she was going and saw a teenaged boy with Raven black hair.

She ran to him like they knew each other. Then all of a sudden he picked her up spun her like I was going to do and kissed her.

Worst part? She kissed back just as passionately.

I decide to ignore that though. He's probably forcing her to do it.. Yeah. Forcing her! Th-That's it!

I marched up to them and pushed the guy away from Annabeth. I grabbed her hand and said

"It's okay now" sympathetically. She looked at me then pulled her hand away. Her eyes darker and stormiest than usually indicating she was mad.

Probably at the guy. But then she did something in I didn't expect. She took her hand away from mine.

She then yelled.. At me!!

"What the heck Mark!!! That's my boyfriend!!!!"

Boyfriend. Boyfriend. BOYFRIEND. Boyfriend!?!?!? 

No no no no no this can not be real.

"B-b-boyfriend?. But-but you we were made for each other. Can't you see that! He's just a dumb player that doesn't deserve you!" Fed up with this I lunged and grabbed Annabeths waist pulling her in for a kiss.

Instead of sinking into it and kissing back like I thought she would she pulled away and punched me in the gut. The guy but a arm around her and glared at me. Man his glares are scary. 

"Don't ever touch my girlfriend again." He said way to calmly.

Then Him and Annabeth walked out of the building, playing and talking as if nothing ever happened . Everyone had already left and I started to cry. I was heartbroken. I got up and went to Dairy Queen by myself and order a large chocolate browny shake. A girl with brown beautiful hair came up and sat at the table I was sitting at. She raised a eyebrow.

"What's with the sad face?" Her voice was sweet but serious and funny at the same time. Is that even possible?

"Nothing"I replied even though it was a lie .

"Mmhm. I know a lie when I see one. You are... Heart broken!" I nodded solemnly and she jumped up

"Ah ha! I guessed it" she shouted

I had to laugh it was just to funny

"Names Lily." She stated sticking her hand out

"Mark" I replied and went to shake her hand. At first it was a normal hand shake but then she pulled me out of my chair.

"What are you doing" I asked confused

"Anything but staying here. It will only make you feel worse" she said matter of factly (My auto correct turned Factly into Da Fly 😂)

That night we stayed up till 12 doing the most random things I even walked around in High heels at Kohls. It was one of the best days of my life

I realized then that Annabeth wasn't who I was meant to be with. There were plenty of other people and she already found her soulmate. I may or may not have my eye on a certain person.
