Once again... Fred Ched's POV

"S-spider! T-there on the t-t-table!"
Annabeth exclaimed. While Helen laughed

"Oh Dear, you still are afraid of these tiny little things? What next? You still make up lies saying they come into your room at night? Waking us up because of silly nightmares?" She smirked

If looks could kill she'd be six foot under, so would I. Percy had already spotted the spider and killed it, Annabeth, although still shaken up, glared daggers straight towards my wife and I. She shouldn't be mad. What she is saying is true, she did used to do that. So... of coarse I started to defend my wife.

"Listen, she's not wrong, okay, you did used to-" I was cut of by Sally slamming her hand on the table and standing up.

"Oh you have no, none whatsoever, idea of what Annabeth and my Son have gone through. You are supposed to be her dad. Yet you don't care at all to even ask her anything. How did she feel?!" Sally exclaimed, breaking from her previously quite state.

How dare she accuse me of not caring! She is my daughter and I love her! Not her!

I stood up as well ready to snap at Sally but before I could Percy stood up too, Annabeth along with him.

"She's right." Annabeth spoke

No, no, no. She's not.

"You know? I was the one that pushed Annabeth to talk to you again, I thought you had changed by now. Grown up. Maybe I was wrong" Now Percy said.

"How in the name of god do you think I don't care! I've been missing you since the day you went missing!"

"I asked you to come and specifically asked for just you! And you come here with little miss perfect wife, and don't even consider how I feel about any of this! You don't even try to comfort or say anything you just laugh because I'm afraid of spiders!" Annabeth drew in a breath before continuing her rant.

"You want to know what? You have no idea who I am. I didn't just leave I ran away, to get away from all the emotional abuse and now here it is again. You know while I was away, I met my mom, Athena. I found a real Father, someone unlike you, his names Chiron, by the way, I have made friends and met siblings and gone on adventures, the people I loved have died, and you don't even bother to ask where I had been all this time." She took a huge breath, fist clenched and eyes closed, calming herself down.

"Just.. just come home, please" I stuttered out

The three spoke in almost perfect unison, which was honestly really creepy,

"She is home" Percy and Sally said

"I am home" was what Annabeth told me

The three started to walk out of the booth

"Bye. I'd like to say it was nice to meet you, but then I'd be lying." Came Percy sarcastic goodbye

"You really just don't understand do you?" Annabeth said. "After all this time? All I asked for was your love and that maybe, just this once you would choose me over her."

"S-she d-d-didn't do anything w-wrong though" I shakily told her, not ready for this meeting with my daughter to be over yet, however all she did was sigh. Percy squeezed her hand like before and the two started walking off, Sally turned to me.

"Listen here, Annabeth, she is like my daughter, soon she probably will be my daughter. That fact that you can be so ignorant is astonishing, but I love Annabeth with all of my being so if you could at least try to learn something from what just happened here today, maybe, although unlikely, she might give you a second chance. She loves you, but are you sure you love her? Think On that." Then Sally turned away and caught up with Percy and Annabeth, Annabeth was snuggled under Percy's arm comfily. I did love Annabeth, with my whole heart, I don't know where I went wrong, does she just not like Helen? That's probably it. And Sally being her mother in law? Like that will happen. I looked down at my phone. I still have her number programed in. Maybe I'll try calling her again sometime. Show her that, that family is bad for her, that she needs to come back. Until then I guess I will give it some time.

So this second half isn't as good idk what that Sally bit at the end was this second half wasn't exactly what I had in mind eh oh well

I might update tomorrow I actually have an idea and I've been slightly inspired lately so yea

Annabeth: Smart water? Seriously.

Percy: So that's what they're calling us now!

Sally: Um... I don't think they are actually calling you that, it was a joke.

Annabeth: Gosh Seaweed Brain, anyway back to what we were going to say-

Percy: Oh yeah! ... what was it again?

Sally and Annabeth: *Facepalm* Percy...

Percy: what?! I blame the ADHD

Annabeth: I have ADHD too!

Percy: Well... your a child of Athena it's not as bad for you.

Sally: *shakes head*

Annabeth: Anyway like I was say Maddie, or GreekGeekMada, author of this book, would really, Really

Percy: really, really, really, VERY MUCH APPRECIATE!!

Sally: Don't shout at the people Perseus.

Percy: sorry I got excited

Sally: it's okay.
