Percy's pov.

You know how it feels when someone is constantly talking rubbish about you, in front of people, and the best part, they don't know that they are​ talking about you?

Well if you don't; if feels horrible.
The gods din't feel like giving us a break, so they decided to make the mortals know of our world.

And right now I'm this close to remove my sword and put it on my respected teacher's neck!

This modern Greek teacher, in front of me, is talking about me, perseus jackson, son of Poseidon. Who appeared out of nowhere to help his friends in the second titan war.

According to her, Perseus abandoned his friends when he came to know about the prophecy and wanted to live the life of a normal person. But then his girlfriend was kidnapped by the titans and he had to fight the war. Perseus should have never been born, the result of his birth: the war.

I am glaring​ at her right​ now but can't do anything. Or Annabeth won't speak to me for a month. She wants me to attend and pass all my classes​. She threatened me! But i love her too much to deny her.

"So that is how the second titan war was won, and it had nothing to do with Perseus jackson." She finished with a satisfying smile.

I mean what does she have against me that she is dead set on proving that I was the cause of the war? What have i ever done to her?

"Yes percy? Do you have something to say?" She says to me, Smirking.

"Oh, nothing at all ma'am." I said.

Miss Dodds was so much better than her. At least she had a purpose for what she did to me.

Finally! Now i can meet annabeth and spend her birthday together. Yup, today is 12th July! Her birthday! And she kicked me out of house to attend school.

I quickly pack my bag and sprint out of the class. I reach the parking lot and i get in my beautiful car *sigh* .

I make a stop at Annabeth's favourite bakery and get some pastries and cupcakes. Mom, must have made enough for her, but still.

I reached home in record time. 6 minutes and 24 seconds.

I knock on the apartment door and soon enough I'm greeted with the sight of my beautiful smiling girlfriend.

I tackled in a bear hug.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISE GIRL" i yell.

She laughed and pulled away smiling. She kissed me and said thank you.

"How was school?" She asked and sat on the couch.

I sat beside her and sighed tiredly. "Has school ever been good for me? As usual horrible! Where is mom?"

"She went grocery shopping. She will return in an hour or two." She rested her head on my shoulder and i wrapped my hand around her.

"You know i am really mad at the god's. Why did they have to reveal themselves. My modern Greek teacher has made it her life mission to make people believe​ that the whole war was my fault. I feel sometimes feel like she's righ-"

"Don't you dare seaweed brain. It was not your fault. Prophecy's​ are not something that can be changed. It was destined to happen" she interupted me.

I just nodded. She suddenly took my hand and pulled me to the kitchen.

"What is it wise girl." I ask.

"I made blue cake for you!" She said excitedly.

"Really? For me? As far as know, it's your birthday today, isn't it" i said hopping on the counter, swinging my legs.

"Oh, come on that the exact same thing sally said! It's my birthday, i can do anything i like!" She crossed her arms against her chest and gave me a pointed look.

I raised my hands in and chuckled.

She opened the fridge and brought a medium sized light blue cake.

It was simple, but beautiful at the same time.

"You made it?" I asked, because Annabeth can't bake.

"Sally helped." She replied and brought a cake knife.

We cut the cake and kept some for mom and Paul, eating the rest. It was delicious!

After eating and cleaning the kitchen, we cuddled togeather on the couch, watching re-runs of the Hunger games. Annabeth loves the movie.

After sometime all our friends from camp arrived. Piper, hazel and Annabeth are in my room, talking about who knows what and thalia and nico are chasing each other around the house. When will they grow up!

Jason, leo, frank and I are playing COD in the living room.

The girls show up after an hour and suggest we play truth or dare.

It was my turn and i chose dare. Jason was about to tell me my dare when my phone rang.

I checked the caller ID. It was Cindy, one of my friends at school.

"Hey who is it?" Annabeth asked, because I have told everyone to call me only if there is an emergency. So they got worried.

"It's Cindy." Everyone here knows about my school friends, but have never met them.

"Hey! Put it on speaker!" Leo said

"Yeah that could be your dare." Jason said.

I put in speaker. "Hello? Cindy?"

"Percy, I'm outside your apartment building." She said.

"What? Why? What happened?" I asked, its pretty late, she should be home. I look at everyone and they all have concerned expression.

"Can i come up percy? Please. I have to tell you something really important!" She panted

My friends nodded at that, and i told her to come here.

Soon there was a knock on the door and i went to opened it.

What i saw shocked me.

The normal shy, nerdy, Cindy, who wears band shirts and jeans, was wearing a dress obviously​ a couple sizes too short for her.

Her face was coated with make up. The sight made me sick.

When she saw me, she smiled, but not the usual friendly smile. A sultry smile, and i winced inwardly. Gods what is up with her.

"Percy! Oh my gods." She said and threw herself at me.

I stumbled a bit, but caught myself with the help of the couch.

I don't want to touch her. I pulled away and looked at my friends, their eyes were popped and jaw slightly open. Of course, i have described Cindy as a sweet, caring, nerdy friend and the girl in front of me is nothing like that.

"Cindy! What is all this! What happened." I asked

"Percy, i came here to tell you how much i love you, Shaylea helped me dress up, she said that if i wear this you will like me" she said.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Shaylea was the school typical Queen bee. I don't think i need to describe her any more.

"Cindy if you look around you will know that I'm busy right now, you don't know what you are saying, so go home and rest, we can talk some other time." I said calmly.

Cindy looked at my friends and then at me. "So you are spending time with your other 'special' friends aren't you? I guess i can join you then!" She said and sat down where everyone was sitting in a circle.

I was about to lash at her for ruin the time, but Annabeth shot me a look and motioned me to sit down. Since Cindy sat on my place i sat next to Annabeth.

Cindy was glaring at Annabeth and if wasn't for Annabeth's hand on my back i would have shouted at her.

The game continued and it came to me again and i chose dare.

But Cindy was the one to give the dare. "Make out with the girl you like, for 6 minutes." She said Smirking, what is she so happy about?

I pulled Annabeth to me and started to kiss her, i completely melted into the kiss, her mouth tasted like chocolate. I let out an unconscious moan and threaded my fingers in her soft golden locks. Amazing. I could faintly hear piper squealing in the background.

"Times up!" Leo yelled in my ear and i jumped in surprise.

I was panting from the loss of breath. I looked at Annabeth, her lips were slightly swollen and her cheeks were red. I know my face looked the same.

All my friends were smiling and wiggling their eyebrows. I rolled my eyed and they landed on an open mouthed Cindy.

I gave her a hard look and she came out of her daze.

"What the hell percy! Why would you kiss her!" She shouted.

"She is my girlfriend! Thats why! You yourself said to kiss the girl I like, so I did!" I replied.

"No! It was supposed to be me! Not her. I wanted to show everyone how important i am to you. You always said that i am important to you." I let out a sigh.

"Look Cindy, you and all my friends back at school are important to me. But as Friends, i have a girlfriend! What part of the sentence you don't understand!" I said

"But! I can be a better girlfriend sweetie, what does this girl has that i don't!" She shouted, I'm getting irritated by her now.

"Cindy, first; don't call me sweetie, and second Annabeth cannot be compared, get that? You better get that! Now if you will excuse us we were in middle of celebration of my girlfriend's birthday. You know where the door is" i said with a straight face.

I don't want these kind of friends. I don't know why she did all that, but it​ was wrong. I won't leave Annabeth for anything, and she has to know that.

She stomped her led and winced. I guess it was the 5' heels. Piper chuckled at that.

I let out a quiet laugh too. She glared at us again and finally left.

I locked the door and turned to face everyone.
"So where were we?" I said smiling and everyone laughed.
