Norman's pov

Today my wife and i planned to go to the beach. We are getting old now, but that doesn't stop us from having fun. We seriously need some time to relax and the idea of beach sound appealing.

We arrived at the beach and found it almost empty, except for a few people here and there.

I laid a big towel on the sand. My wife Maria was bringing some snacks from the car.

I sat on the towel and admired the beautiful view. Slow and small waves, soft wind. It looked as if Zues and Posiedon were working together to make a perfect weather.

Yes I'm a demigod, I'm the son of Hermes. My wife is the daughter of Aphrodite. We went on couple of​ quests togeather and bonded really fast.

We were one of the few people who got to go on quests.

"Norman, did you see that! Oh my gods! They are so cute!" My wife's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

I didn't realise she when she came back. She was pointing somewhere near the shore.

A boy and a girl were talking and then the boy went on his knees. I guess he is proposing.

I was right. He did propose and being the daughter of Aphrodite, Maria had to congratulate​ them.

She was more excited than the couple.

Together we approached​ the couple. Both of them looked really happy. I'm happy they found love with each other.

"Hi, my name is Maria and this is my husband Norman. We saw you guys. The young man just proposed, din't he?" Maria gushed.

"Hi, I'm Annabeth and this is my boyfriend-"
"Fiancé" the boy corrected her.
"-Percy."

"Oh my gods! You both are so cute! Percy and Annabeth. Percabeth! That will be your ship name!" Maria squealed.

"That's what everyone calls us."percy said.

Thats when i noticed. They look rather young.

"How old are you guys?" I asked.

"Oh, we are 18, but we will turn 19 in a couple months." Percy said.

"What?! Don't you think you guys are too young to be married?" I asked shocked by the information.

"Uh, i don't think so. We have gone through a lot togeather and can't wait to be married. And legally we are adults now. So we can if we want." Annabeth replied.

"But-"

"Excuse me Mr. Norman, but we know what is good for us and what is not. I don't​ want to say this, but please, don't ruin the day for us. I have been preparing for it for a long time and I can't let it go in drain. Even Dad and Zues cooperated for today's success." Percy interupted me. I was shocked to say the least.

"You are a demigod!" I said

"Yeah, and so are you. We figured it out when you said 'gods'." Annabeth said.

"Fine! Do whatever you want! But know this that marriages at this age don't last long! Demigod or not!" I said and dragged Maria with me.

My day just had to be spoiled.

They are just kids! How can they make such a big decision of life so easily!

It has been a week since the beach insident and Maria is pestering me to take her to camp today. We have not visited came for a long time. Many years actually.

I know she wants to see chiron. That centaur is a father figure to her. We were one of his favorites​. After we came from our last quest we left camp and lived a Normal life. I heard they stopped sending kids to quests after that, that means we were the last questers.

Maria was packing an over night bag. We thought of staying a night, attending the sing alongs and campfire.

______________2 hours later.

We were at the bottom of the hill, admiring the view. We have no clue what happend to camp all these years, we just lost contact.

So i am really happy to visit again. I hope it's just like it was when we left.

We reached the top in 10 minutes. We used to reach within 5 minutes. Getting old does that to you i guess. We were standing at the big wooden entrance. But there was something odd. There was no pine tree here. Maybe they planted it. Anyway.

When we passed the border i felt it. There was protection on the borders of camp. But why? It was not necessary back then.

We looked around and my eyes widened. The camp in front of me was totally different from what it was before. There were at least 20 cabins, and the campers multiplied in number.

And right now everyone seemed to be busy. Decorations were being done, stage was being set up, orders were given. Everything was in chaos.

Then among the sea of campers we noticed Chiron.

"Chiron!" We called.

He looked behind and smiled at us. He remembers us.

He trotted towards us and his smile widened.

"How are you Norman? Maria?" He asked.

"We are good, we are now happily married for 17 years. How are you?" I said.

"As you can see we are fine too." He replied

"Chiron what happened? Why the protection and so many cabins? As far as i remember there were only 12 and the campers are also increased!" I asked

"Oh! Thats a long story!" He said waving his hand in dismissive motion.

"We have time, we came here to have a small break anyway." Maria said and i nodded.

"Come on to the big house then" he trotted away.

We followed him to the big house and once we were seated he started telling us about the 2nd titan war. Then the 'seven' and the war with Gaea.

After What chiron said i was dumbfold. How can these kids survive all this at such a young age. And percy and Annabeth really went through a lot. I know now.

"Yeah so thats all. And you arrived at the right time. You get to witness​ the wedding of out two heroes. Annabeth and Percy. They wanted to get married a few months later but the campers insisted on getting married as soon as possible. So are you attending?" Chiron asked

"Yes we are." Maria said and i nodded.

We were seated on the seats waiting for the bride and groom when there was a bright flash. We all closed our eyes. When we opened our eyes, we saw all the gods and goddesses, in tuxedos and gowns.

All of us bowed to show respect.

Chiron welcomed them.
"Welcome​ everyone please take your seats." The gods and goddesses sat on the first row.

Then not long after, percy entered.

He saw the gods and smiled at them.

Lord posiedon stood up and percy approached him.

"Dad! You came!" He said hugging his father.

"Of course I came. I wouldn't miss my son's wedding for the world." He replied.

"Take care of my daughter" lady Athena said.

"Absolutely" he replied.

Then chiron called him at the altar to start the ceremony. The bridesmaids entered followed by the bride

They both looked really happy togeather. I was indeed wrong. The gods gave them their blessings and then left.

The reception was held at the beach. The decoration was done in green, blue and silver.

At the reception we went to talk to Annabeth and Percy.

They saw us and smiled.

"Hi, we didn't know you guys were attending, thanks for coming." Annabeth said and percy nodded smiling.

"Hello, and congratulations to both of you. We both are really sorry for what we said that day." I said and Maria nodded.

"Don't worry about it Mr. Norman, we do not hold grudges. Now that you guys are here we want you'll to enjoy" percy said.

"Thank you, and wish you a happy married life" i said.

After all experience makes us mature, not age.
