Daniel's pov

I was enjoying my lunch break with my friends. Everyone was already digging into the food. Honestly, they are eating like this is their last meal!

I was waiting for my girlfriend and best friend to arrive. I don't start eating without them.

Then i felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around to face my girlfriend, Minnie. I gave her a big smile which she returned and we kissed. I turned to Annabeth and gave her a big bear hug.

Annabeth is like a sister i never had. She understands me, cares for me and is very respectful. We even have same physical features. Blonde hair and grey eyes. Her eyes are a shade darker though.

I absolutely adore her. She is extremely smart. And knows what is best for her, which is why I don't have to worry too much.

We all take our seats and start eating.

"So Annabeth, tell me who called you this morning?" Minnie asked.

"What?"i asked.

"Today at 3:00 in the morning Annabeth received a call." She said.

"So?" I replied

"So? She spoke to that person for 4 hours straight!" She exclaimed

"Annabeth who was that?" I asked.

"No one Dan" she said looking at her tray of food.

She was lying. I can say.

"Annabeth tell me" i said in a stern tone.

"Ok fine! It was my boyfriend!" She said and we all stared at her with wide eyes and mouth​ open.

"When did you get a boyfriend Annabeth? And why din't you tell us?" Keith said (one of my friends)

"I din't get the chance to" she said

"Annabeth how long?" I asked

"A few months back. 3 months to be exact" she sighed

"I want the details. Name, where he lives, what does he do, and most importantly how does he treat you." I said

"Percy Jackson, lives in new York, he is in highschool, and he treats me like im the most important person in his life! Is that enough?" She said.

"Show me a picture" Minnie said

Annabeth sighed and dug into her bag.

She removed a scrapbook and handed to Minnie.

Minnie kept in middle and opened it. The book consisted of multiple pictures of Annabeth and a really handsome boy.

"Who is the boy?" Minnie asked

"Percy" Annabeth answered

"What!" All of us exclaimed

"He looks like a freaking greek god!" Minnie said

Annabeth mumbled something under her breath.

We all started eating again and focused on the food only.

Then we heard a grunt of pain.
We turned our heads and saw Annabeth had just judo flipped a student.

"Wise girl! How could you do that to me!" The boy whined leaving us confused.

Annabeth offered him a hand and he stood up. His back facing us.

"How could you do this to me seaweed brain! Not telling me you are coming here and then sneaking up behind me!" She said

"Aw sorry wise girl! I just wanted to surprise you!" He said and snaked his hand around her waist.

"But still! I don't want to talk to you" she said

"Please! Talk to me! I'll die if you don't talk to me wise girl! Oh my gods! My heart it's bleed! Im dying wise girl save me!" The boy said dramatically and fell on the ground face first.

"Ok fine! Now don't do that!" Annabeth said and the boy was up in a flash.

His hand back on her waist.

"Now where is that smile of yours? Huh? Huh? Smile. Smile!" He said and Annabeth chuckled.

Then she saw up looking all lost and confused.

She turned the boy around.
It was percy!

They came and sat with us. Percy gave us all polite smiles.

"Hi everyone I'm percy. Annabeth's boyfriend." He said

We all introduced our selves.

We learned that he called Annabeth because he was on the way to California and was missing her so he called her. And surprised her by coming here.

They were really in love. I totally ship them!
