Archer's pov.

My family and I are going to my brother's house for a small get together. His wife has been insisting on this, so we agreed. Though we had to reschedule our day.

It was 8:30 in the morning that means breakfast Starts in 5 minutes. I fix my tie once again and make my way towards the dining room.

When i reach there i see my children are already there. Ah, they are always punctual. They always obey me. I'm proud of them.

I have 2 children. An older son, Arthur, who turned 19 last month and my daughter, Susan, who will turn 15 in a couple of months.

They are both blessings. I take my seat and place a napkin on my lap.

"Good morning." I said

"Good morning dad" both said in unison.

My wife Ariana came in with dishes in her hand. My wife used to work in a reputed company as an accountant, but after our marriage, she left the job and became a housewife. We had an arranged marriage.

I believe what my parents have chosen for me, is the best. So at the age of 25 my parents introduced me to Ariana and suggest we give each other a chance. She was just like me.

After dating for 3 1/2 years i proposed, at her house in front of her parents. We got married after a year, when we were 29. We had Arthur when we were 35 and Susan when we were 39. We are a perfect family.

"Good morning Archer" Ariana said smiling. We are not like those pathetic couples that give each other stupid names. We stick to the name given to us by out parent.

"Good morning Ariana." I nodded at her and she served us food.

She comes back without her apron and sits with us to eat. We eat in silence. After our breakfast we sit in the living​ room, and discuss what we will do for the day.

Since it is Saturday, Susan will attend her piano class and then her tutor will be coming for her Spanish lessons.

Arthur is going for his football practice and then to the library for an assignment.

Ariana will be doing some cleaning and then shopping.
As for me, I'll be in my study, working.

"Ok, so we will be going to Paul's house tomorrow after breakfast, we will be there till dinner and leave after, so be ready." I said.

"Okay" came their reply and i go to my study to do the work assigned to me.

In all honesty I don't want to go to Paul's house. He was always a disrespectful child, Still is. He married to a woman who already had a child, that to without marriage.

They would be a bad influence on my perfect family. But since they have been asking for a long time, i agreed.

I hope i won't regret it.

*****************Next day

Breakfast was done and we left at the same time we hade decided. We left at 9:00 am and reached at 10:00 am.

We took the lift. I took a glance at my family. Ariana was dressed in a decent knee length green summer dress, her hair in a bun.

Arthur was wearing a white t-shirt, washed jeans and a blazer, his hair neatly gelled at the back.

And Susan was wearing a floral knee length dress, and her hair in a neat ponytail.

Perfect!

We reached the 4th floor, where they lived and knocked 3 times.
Shuffling was heard from inside.
Then the door was opened revealing a middle age woman with an apron, hair in a messy bun and a normal sundress.

"Hello you must be Archer and his family. Welcome, I'm sally." She said and stepped aside for us to enter.

So this is Sally. She is so disoriented. (I have nothing against sally. She is like a virtual mother to me!)

They lived in an average New York apartment. A normal 2BHK. It was ok, quiet spacious, it was good enough for someone like paul and Sally, but not for someone like me.

We all sat in the living room, looking around the house.

There was a wall full of pictures. Mostly of a boy, green eyed and black hair. Must be her son.

I noticed Arthur looking at a picture and his eyes settled on one in particular. It was picture of a blonde girl with sally.

She was beautiful, i must say.

I caught Susan looking at the boy's picture.

I cleared my throat for their attention. I gave them a stern look and they diverted their eyes.

Soon enough Sally came back with Paul by her side. Paul looked the same, he did years ago.

He was wearing a simple yellow shirt and blue jeans. He smiled and greeted us.

The day went on and i can say, my family is quiet bored. We had lunch and talked about life.

The time flew by and now it was almost time for dinner.

We were all in the living room, while Sally was preparing dinner, when the front door opened.

"Moomm! I'm hoome!" A deep masculine voice came from the doorway, followed by a feminine​ giggle.

"I know percy!" Sally yells from the kitchen.

"How dows she know everything!"

A boy and girl came in, both had their arms around each other.

They see us and smile.

"Archer, this is percy, my son and this is Annabeth, and children, this is my brother Archer, his wife, Ariana and their children; Arthur and Susan." Paul introduces us.

"Hey!" Percy says with a wave.

"Hello, nice to meet you'll" Annabeth said politely, at least she has manners.

"Paul it's ok if thalia, jason and nico, come tomorrow, they are heading somewhere, so they wanted to meet you'll." Percy said.

"As long as they don't trash the house like last time, I'm fine with it." Paul said chuckling

"Good!" Percy said and dragged Annabeth inside with him.

Thats when Sally announced dinner is ready and we settled on the dining table.

"Aren't percy and Annabeth joining?" Ariana asked

"No they already had dinner out. They went straight to bed" sally said

"Paul we din't know you had a daughter" i asked

"Oh, Annabeth is not our daughter, she's Percy's girlfriend." Paul said

I almost choked on my food.

"What? Girlfriend? At this age?"

"They are 18, they are not that young, there is a reason why people are declared as adult at the age of 18, they are not kids anymore" paul said

"But they are not mature enough to be in a relationship. Look at Arthur, he is 19 and never had a relationship!" I exclaimed

"Both of them are really happy in their relationship, I don't see what the problem is?" Sally said.

"Of course you don't. After all you did the same mistake, and what happened? He abandoned you with his child, din't he?" I said angrily

"Hey! Who do you think you are, speaking to my mother like that?!"

We all turned around to see a very angry percy.

He strode towards the dining table. And glared at me.

"What is the matter old man? Why are you interested in my personal life? Whatever i do with my life, is my concern not yours! And Annabeth and I are mature enough to make decisions for ourselves​! Now if you don't mind dinner is over and you know where the door is" he concluded

I got up from my seat. Never in my entire life, i have been insulted like this!

"Ariana, kids, come on, we are leaving" i said and went out of the apartment. Everyone followed me and we left.
