Can people give me more ideas??? I really need some kind of inspiration. New format? New characters? New anything?

Nico's POV

I tried to run. But I wasn't fast enough. A scream built up in my throat as I felt the presence gaining on me. I zig-zagged, hoping to get them off my trail. But it wasn't enough. I felt an arm jerk me back and something jabbed into my neck. Darkness took over my sight.

I woke up in my cabin and I thought I had just dreamed it. Until I got out of bed. Everything had become way bigger than me  and I yelped in fear, scampering across the room to my mirror. My vision tunneled.

Will's POV

I was walking back from breakfast when a heard a yelp coming from Nico's cabin. I ran in to see what it was, since I hadn't seen Nico at breakfast, but soon came stumbling out. How did a little black kitten get past the borders? I slowly crept in, trying not to scare the fragile kitten, but then he/she turned its head in my direction. I froze and squinted. Did he just roll his eyes at me? I tried to carry it so I could show Chiron, but he scampered away from me, hiding underneath the bed. I considered trying to carry him out, but I noticed his tail had wrapped around his leg in fright. So, I decided to coax it out. Running quickly outside, I went to find supplies.

Nico's POV

I had seen Will trying to creep up on me, so I rolled my eyes. Then he tried to grab me and out of instinct, my tail curled around my leg and I panicked, running under my bed. I could see Will was debating something in his mind and then he ran out. I sighed in my head from relief. I didn't want Will to see me like this. I ran to hide somewhere else, but couldn't find anything. I heard footsteps and I dove into the first thing I saw, curling up as small as possible. It turned out to be my open bottom drawer of my cabinet. I watched as Will searched under the bed, trying not to make a sound. I knew I was in plain sight, but maybe he wouldn't notice... no such luck. His eyes brightened as he fixed his eyes on me. Digging through a bag I had not noticed he had, Will brought out some catnip and salmon. My mind became blank and I leapt out without thinking, first eating the salmon, then started playing with the catnip, meowing. Then, I realized my actions, but it was too late. Will snaked his arms around me and picked me up.

"AWW AREN'T YOU JUST THE CUTEST THING." He cooed, scratching behind my ears. Unintentionally, I purred, nuzzling his chest. "Wait, where's Nico?" He asked out of the blue. "If you're here, where's Nico? Awww did he adopt you?"

I rolled my eyes and pawed at his hand, trying to get his to scratch me again. He laughed and continued petting me. I purred and Will brought me out to show everyone. Percy and Annabeth cooed and Jason asked to carry me. Will obliged and Jason started scratching my ears and I purred loudly. I hadn't been thinking about anything I was doing until Will asked Jason where I was.

"I found him in the Hades cabin but I didn't see Nico. I'm starting to get worried." He said. I felt butterflies in my stomach, listening to Will worry about me. I hadn't felt this way since... no... no... not again... There is no way I liked Will in that way. But as he took me back into his arms, I knew I had fallen hard, harder than when I fell for Percy. I tried to leap out and run, but Will scolded me.

"Don't try to run. There are many dangerous creatures around." He said as if I was a little child. I felt bad for upsetting Will, so I stayed put, even when I knew I shouldn't. I was taking advantage of Will, but it was the most love I could probably get from him.

Everyone reacted the same until we got to some people in the Hecate cabin. Instead of petting and cooing over me, they laughed. I cocked my head, confused. I heard one girl say that their plan had worked and the Aphrodite cabin owed them something. Will apparently also heard and asked them about it.

"Ok, you see, that isn't just some random little kitty." She tried saying, but started laughing again.

"H-he's Nico." She finally finished, still laughing.

"Wait, what?" Will asked, blushing. I could feel heat rising to my face as well, but obviously they couldn't see it.

"W-we made a deal wit-with the Aphrodite cabin. They said they would give us some of their mom's beauty cream if we turned Nico into a cat." She clarified, starting to calm down. I hissed, and they back away. Will patted my head, telling me it's ok and faced them. "Why is this funny?" He asked.

"You'll see." They answered and walked away.

"So you're Nico huh?" He asked me. I tried my best to nod. "Awww you're so cute." He replied. I licked his cheek and he laughed. "Ok first things first, you need to eat and I should go asked them how long this spell will last." He told me, walking back to my cabin. He set me down on my bed, creating a small cat bed with the blankets. I curled into a ball and slowly drifted off, Will stroking me.

Will's POV

I left as quietly as I could, trying not to wake Nico. He was soo cute. I'm sorry if I've been saying that a lot, he really is. I walked to the Hecate cabin and asked how long the spell will last.

"He'll probably turn back in the morning, but maybe in two days." Lou Ellen replied.

Not knowing why, but I thanked her. Maybe because I got to spend a little more time with Nico, without his remarks. Everyone thinks he's a emo goth boy, but I've seen him vulnerable and frightened. I've seen him asleep. Whenever he's in the infirmary asleep, he has nightmares, tossing and turning, close to tears. I don't have the heart to ignore it and pull him close to my chest and whisper softly to him until he calms down. He doesn't know I do this but while he's asleep, I can see the innocence and brokenness inside him. The first three days may not be much, but it was enough to make me fall hopelessly in love with him. After a few more visits to the infirmary, I realized my feelings. Even though he had so much pain and fear built up inside him, he's able to mask it and I admire that about him. There are many rumors going around about him, one being Nico is gay. I won't lie, I'm hoping it was true. Walking back into the cabin, I heard meowing and yelping so I ran as fast as I could to see what was wrong. Nico was squirming, pawing the air like he was trying to shoo away flies. Quickly, I wrapped him inside the blanket so I didn't leave with my clothes torn and scratches down on my arms. Then, I started scratching his ears and cuddling him. Slowly, the yelps turned to soft mewing and the meowing turned to purring. His eyes blinked open once then he closed them, cuddling closer to me. I knew that he had only eaten the salmon I had brought earlier so I tried to leave to get some more food for him but he kept whimpering and pawing at me when I tried to set him down, so I carried him with me. He had started to drift off, so I tickled the fur on his ears and he pawed at his ears, meowing. I laughed and kissed the top of his furry little head. I could feel the heat rising to my face but Nico was too busy devouring the salmon in front of him to notice. I went back to get myself a salad while Nico was distracted and walked back into his cabin quickly. He had finished his salmon and was nuzzling my chest. I knew I couldn't leave him here because of his nightmares so I laid down next to him, hugging him to my body. Drowsiness overwhelmed me and I fell asleep with Nico di Angelo in my arms, something I never thought would happen.

My eyes opened and I did a mental check. Why was I in the Hades cabin? Why is there a presence next to me? Then yesterday's events came back to me and I looked down. Nico was back in human form, my arms still around him as he snored softly. His arms were wrapped tightly around my waist and his head rested on my chest. I smiled and ran my hands through his hair. He purred an- wait, he purred? I looked closer and saw that Nico still had black cat ears and a tail, which had been curled around my legs. I smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Wake up sleepy head." I said softly.

"No, go away." He replied, removing his arms around me to cover his face. So I tried to get up to try and annoy him awake but Nico whined, so I stayed with him until he fully awoke and blushed, apologizing for his actions. I laughed and booped his nose. He blushed even more.

"St-stop." He stuttered.

"Aw man. At least cat Nico didn't have remarks." I replied. I watched as Nico's eyes widened, remembering yesterday's events.

"Shoot, I'm so sorry. I couldn't think straight and my mind was blank or muddy most of the time." He blushed. I laughed again and rubbed his ears. He purred, but instantly stopped, realizing what was happening.

"S-sorry. I can't help it." He apologized.

"It's fine, but you're super cute when you do that." I smiled, watching his face grow even more red. I rubbed his ears again and he made no move to stop the purring. I laughed and got out of bed.

"Do you want me to bring you breakfast?" I asked him.

"Y-yes please." He replied.

"What's with the stuttering?" I asked, smirking.

"No-nothing." He blushed again and looked down.

"You still want salmon?" I asked, with a teasing tone.

"Actually, yeah."

"Ok, be right back."

Nico's POV

To be honest, I wish I was a cat agin so I could spend some more time with Will. I felt my tail swish in the air as Will came in with a plate of salmon and a plate of pancakes.

I quickly finished the salmon and looked pleadingly at Will. He blushed, but laughed as he gave me some of his pancakes. Hoping I could still get away with things, I snuggled into Will's chest. My ears perked up when I felt arms around me and I purred nuzzling my face even more into his body. Then, Will leaned over and kissed my nose, catching me completely off guard.

I spent the entire day with Will like that. Me snuggled into his chest with his arms wrapped snug around me. As I was drifting off, I felt Will's lips on my cheek and he whisperd, "I love you."

Ok that was way longer than I intended, but I enjoyed writing it. This isn't what I was working on, but I read some neko Nico stuff and I found it so adorable. I hope you liked it! I kinda wanna write a part two of this, but you guys can decide.
