"LEO! I TOLD YOU COUNTLESS TIMES. DON'T SET OFF FIREWORKS WHEN WE AREN'T AT CAMP!" Calypso yelled at her fiancé, looking at the burning grass.

"BUT BABE! WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! IT'S NOT LIKE IM GONNA SET SOMEONE ON FIRE!" Leo yelled back.

"BUT THE KIDS!!!" Calypso yelled, exasperated.

"WHAT ABOUT THEM?" Leo replied, clueless.

"Do you think setting off fireworks in the middle of nowhere in front of kids is gonna increase good behavior?" Calypso asked.

"Yes? I'm sorry but I can't help it. I'm a son of Hephaestus; I live for weird mechanics and fire."

"Leo... what am I gonna do with you."

"I'm sorry love."

"Daddy!!! Do it again!!!" Their children yelled.

"I'm sorry guys, mommy doesn't want me to anymore. It's too dangerous." Leo replied sadly.

"Awww."

"It's ok! Fire is too dangerous. That's how I lost my mommy." Leo tried making them feel better, but also realizing that his wife was absolutely correct.

The kids ran off, and Calypso kissed Leo. "I'm proud of you." She told him. "I love you." Leo replied, kissing her back.

They sat on a tarp as they watched their kids run around the field, screaming with joy. Leo smiled sadly, knowing that if his mother had survived, he could've had a way better childhood.
