Val's POV
We all walk into the dining pavilion, laughing like it's just a normal day. Rachel did not just issue a prophecy, and the entire camp does not hate us.

We get tons of weird looks while we swallow our laughter and go sit at our own tables. I sit down next to Ammie, because she is the only one at the table (besides Will) that doesn't hate me yet. She's on my left and Will's on my right. Across the table, Kayla sits with Austin on her right and Lucia on her left. On Lucia's left sits Joe, looking completely fine after he was food poisoned earlier today. I'm furious at Lucia, who has now shifted the blame of the events of this morning on my entire friend group. Why would I poison my own little brother? Sure, I haven't known him for more than a day, but it's not in my nature to poison people. I mean sure I was ready to unleash the wrath of the gods on anyone who messed with me or my friends but he hadn't done anything wrong. Whatever, right now I'm just gonna enjoy lunch with my friends. WE ARE AT FREAKING CAMP HALF BLOOD AND WE GET A PROPHECY! I mean sure I have mixed feelings about the prophecy but i'm just trying my best to maintain a positive attitude and right now, fighting monsters sounds AWESOME! AFTER LUNCH I BET- Chiron interrupts my thinking. “Attention all campers, we are going to be holding a game of capture the flag in 1 hour, so please be ready by then. HOLY CRAP COULD THIS DAY GET ANY BETTER? 

Or worse? Says another voice in my head. “Shut up” I tell it. I head over to Maddy, Amelia, and Annie to talk about Capture the Flag.
“Are you guys excited?” 

“AW HECK YEAH” Amelia shouts. "I'm soooooooooooo EXCITED!” Maddy squeals. Annie, however,  seems to be off in her own world, probably thinking about the prophecy. Chiron clears his throat loudly and announces the teams. "Blue team: Apollo, Poseidon, Athena, Demeter And-" we wait in anticipation, waiting for him to say Hades. "Dionysus!” 
Shit.
